I tell everyone this is my favorite Italian restaurant because it is. Their food is amazing and SOOOO tasty and reasonably priced. They have a huge variety of different pastas and pizzas, all of which are very good. I've never had a bad thing here. The little side salads are always fresh and prepped when you order, not premade. The same with everything else. Fresh = fantastic The staff are always very nice when you go in. It really feels like a family business and that you are welcome as a customer. The inside is a cute little place that they have recently repainted and decorated. It feels very cozy despite not having a lot of room inside to sit and eat. If you do stay to eat, they are always very polite and welcoming. The parking lot is tiny and can be occasionally tricky to find a spot in, which isn't the restaurants fault at all and is really my only complaint. If you can time it where the other businesses are closed, you'll be alright. 10000/10 would eat here every day if I lived closer.

We bought a large pizza on Monday evening from Castellos on Rainer Ave The cheese on the pizza was not melted thoroughly, only on the top. The next day Tuesday We thought easy fix and heated the pizza up in our own oven to complete the process of melting the cheese We could not get the cheese to melt. We called Costellos Tuesday to tell them they questioned us why we did not call them Monday evening. I told them because they were having a family dinner or a party going on at the time and out of respect, we did not want to disturb them with the problem. The manager said he could not give us a refund or did he even offer us a pizza because we did not call Monday evening

Yum Yum Yum!! I definitely had my fill of Italian food while I was in Seattle. I had ordered delivery and when it arrived, the food looked amazing! It was packed carefully in a simple paper bag. The pasta I had was cooked to perfection. Plus the sauce was delicious. There was a generous amount of sauce and and added ins on the pasta. I also had their Cesar Salad and that was great as well. Let me tell you about their garlic bread! I absolutely love it! When eating with the pasta, it was amazing! the bread was coated with the garlic butter and toasted to perfection. Plus I had delivery, so I had expected soggy bread, but it was not. The bread was nice and crunch on the outside, and soft on the inside.

Amazing service and food. Everything is halal, and the atmosphere is amazing too. I got the fettuccini carbonara, which was delicious. They even put beef bacon to make it halal, a great experience Thank You Castello!!

They have the best halal pizza in Seattle. The wings and the pasta Alfredo was also amazing

Castello Pizza and Pasta offers halal food, and their halal pizza is a nice option, especially since not many places in Seattle have it. The taste is good and portions are big, but the quality isn't always consistent. Sometimes the food is overcooked or the order is wrong. Service can also be hit or miss -- they might be friendly, or not answer the phone at all. If they improve consistency and customer service, this place could be much better.

The pizza I had delivered, and the pizzas I see pictures are not the same. There is a generous amount of toppings but it's all on a flat, unseasoned, pre made crust. The salad looks great though! The pizza is a bummer. I feel like I got punked for ordering on a holiday I get it if you run out of your regular pizza dough, but dang let customers know first or offer a discount. Still, the salad is great!

Ordered a pizza and salad to go. It was ready on time. My kids loved the pizza. It had a lot of toppings and had a good flavor. The salad was good too with a generous amount of toppings almost more toppings than lettuce. The chicken wasn't very good, but the rest was! This is now my go to place for pizza!

The food was ok to very good depending on who you talked to in our party. The specials were generally all very good; the chicken Parmesan and Chicken Marsala were fairly middle of the road. The grilled pear salad was the one disappointing item; cold and tough pears in big chunks just gave it a very strange feel. But all that said, great place for a family dinner. Just not the food quality you expect at these prices. Rounding up from 3.5 given all of its other great qualities.

I was quite taken by the restaurant. It even hosts a wonderful view of downtown Seattle and a peak of the Puget Sound. The restaurant is small and intimate. This Italian-style restaurant served one of the best meals I had at the time. So when the opportunity to return came, I wanted to run there from my home. We were immediately shown to our table, and drinks arrived with little effort. One thing to watch for is that they offer sparkling water or tap water. It is easy to think of it as an option, but the sparkling water is a few bucks by the bottle. With four people, it is easy to go through a few bottles quickly - this is my weakness since I have replaced soda with sparkling water. We began with cheesy flat bread and baked goat cheese. The cheesy flatbread was amazing and delicious, and the baked goat cheese was out of this world. I can honestly say that I did not know what to expect, but the baked goat cheese with Taro chips was delightful. What is a trip to an Italian restaurant without a Caesar salad? I added grilled shrimp that were just wonderful as well. This Caesar had a creamy dressing, croutons, and shredded parmesan. The dressing was not overwhelming, but the croutons were a bit hard and difficult to chew. I would give it a B-. I had the PENNE SPECIALI ( mesquite-grilled chicken, spinach, tomato, mushrooms, white wine butter sauce). The description of this dish was better than the flavor. Salt is a flavor enhancer, but when you add it to the dish after it's been cooked, it's like lukewarm coffee - it's okay, but you would have preferred it hot. For dessert, I had the caramel, chocolate custard with chocolate sticks. This was heavenly, and I would eat 100 more. This is a dessert worth the wait, and I do not advise you to share because you will get less. It was the perfect finish. One secret restaurateurs must know is that ambiance, setting, and conversation enhance the food experience, but if the food does not complement the other parts of the experience, something is lost. This place has everything: the view, service, and dining intimacy. Why leave the main dish out of the experience? I want to want to come back like I did the first time I fell in love with "That's Amore."

This is a bargain at $10 for a clamshell of yummy goodness. Also for purchase is her famous lasagna in the cooler packed in ready to warm up servings and also her homemade sauce. The staff we interacted with was super nice and described the pasta options available. We also noticed Michela's two books she wrote on display at the counter. I like the one with common sayings and their Italian meanings. Interesting subject. We cooked the pasta at home with some vodka/rosa sauce and it was delectable. We ordered for pickup, and our food was ready in about 10 minutes, which was a nice bonus. Finding the restaurant was easy--it's tucked inside the Atrium building at Pike Place Market. Just walk south past the famous fish market, and you'll see the Atrium entrance. It's a bit of a hidden gem, but it's definitely worth seeking out. I'd definitely come back just for this pasta!

Clam Bake Pizza -- whole roasted Hood Canal clams, pancetta, mozzarella, garlic, onion, chili flakes, parsley, and grana on a house-made white clam sauce base. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same great experience with this flavor as everyone else seems to. The clams didn't seem cleaned very well. I had two slices, and both had either shell fragments or sand in them, which created an unpleasant crunchy texture. It was also a bit too salty for my taste and felt slightly overpriced. That said, the crust itself was amazing. Spring Lamb Pizza -- lamb sausage, mozzarella, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, red onion, chili flakes, and fresh mint on a basil-mint salsa verde base. This one had great texture and flavor overall, though I wish there had been a little more sausage. I especially loved the fresh mint. Once again, the crust was phenomenal.
