We confirmed our order was for there yet it was served to us at our table as a stack of three separate takeout containers (not a huge deal, just odd when we saw a bunch of plastic trays everywhere that we'd assumed would be used for eat-in orders). The salmon burger was fine. It came with fries instead of chips (the menu said chips, and the person who took our order confirmed we wanted chips with it), which would normally be an upgrade, but the fries were cold (not warm, just straight up cold like they'd been sitting out for a while). The onion rings were very heavily battered, which was fine, but all we could taste was the old cooking oil they were fried in. The homemade potato chips that came with the lobster roll also tasted like nothing but salt and dirty cooking oil. The hot lobster roll wasn't very hot and the lobster was diced up into small pieces (almost as if they prep the same meat for both the hot and cold rolls). Didn't get much flavor from the lobster other than whatever dried herbs were on it, and somehow the lobster wasn't buttery at all but the roll itself was soggy with butter on the inside. There was also a small, burnt-looking, unidentifiable brown bit of something mixed in with the lobster meat (definitely not lobster meat; it looked like something that had been sitting in the bottom of a fryer for months). The clam chowder was fine, nothing special. We tried to think of something redeeming about the food or this place in general and honestly couldn't come up with anything. We planned on picking up some oysters and halibut on our way out too, but after our experience with the food we decided to skip it.

It's smaller than the usual big supermarkets we're all used to, but it's really clean and set up beautifully. We walked around and checked out lots of things and bought a French meat pie and picked up a small salmon pie for my mom (she loves salmon). We warmed up the French meat pie and made some mashed potatoes and gravy and we really enjoyed this pie. It's hard to find a good meat pie that is ready made and this one tasted the most like my recipe (the spices were perfect and it didn't have potatoes in it).
