This place was great, glad I tried it out. The service was amazing , our waiter was glad to accommodate whatever we needed. The drinks were good too. The only reason I knock a star is because their menu is pretty limited. The great thing that helped me choose what to order was the fact that the waiter was able to ask the chef to switch up a recipe they had on the menu. My dad and I were craving a pasta but with scallops instead of jerk chicken, and they gladly accommodated, we were impressed ! The fish turned out amazing! Loved the bar upstairs too, well the atmosphere mainly. The menu for drinks did not have much of a variety.

You'll definitely want to dress up for this one! Very elegant atmosphere, and staff years you well right down to folding your napkin if you leave to use the bathroom! Our waiter provided helpful suggestions as we'd never eaten here. We ended up ordering stuffed grouper that came bedded on top of risotto. It wasn't bad, but wasn't the best I'd ever had. I also would've ordered more food, but was told it would be enough to share. It definitely wasn't enough to share for a min and her teenage boy!

One of the worst meals I've had. Ordered filet mignon and it came out looking like a hamburger and the sides were mediocre. Took a bite and the meat was grey and taste was bad. For $44 I expected decent quality. It was 1/10 I returned for the chicken which was 3/10 (I asked for broccolini side without butter- it came doused in butter ). Didn't eat any of the mediocre sides. Went home after and cooked egg whites and oatmeal which I enjoyed 10x more

Can I give zero stars?if I could I would. Starting off we got a pitcher of water spilt all over us and all we got was an oops sorry. Drinks were fine but it took 25 minutes to get them. During that time we ordered apps and entrees, only get our entrees over an hour later. While we waited for our entrees our waiter never returned to ask how our apps were, OR clear our app plates, OR even ask us if we'd like more drinks. Our food finally came and it was bland. The grouper was not blackened on both the sandwich and entree ordered. And others in our party barely touched their food. When we asked to speak to the manager regarding the service and bill, we were offered free dessert. When then manager finally came, we expressed how disappointed we were with the meal and how horrible the service was, and he eventually offered to take a percentage off our bill. We said that would not be enough and we could pay for the drinks as our experience was horrible, it took forever, service was nonexistent, and food was undesireable. If we were paying $100 that may be acceptable but the bill came to $360. He ended up taking of 25% which again was unacceptable. We paid the bill but will never return, and recommend other do NOT go to this restaurant.

Listen! When I tell you the Chef didn't come to play, I'm so serious. The Steak. Scallops, and Cake felt like they melted in my mouth. WOW! VERY DELICIOUS! Wonderful presentation and the ambiance of the restaurant was very inviting.

We went as a large group (~10 people) for dinner on a Friday night at 6:30PM. We were led to our table right away (which consisted of a few small tables pushed together; people at either end were pretty far away from each other), and the servers were attentive and came to take our orders promptly. For drinks, I got an espresso martini to start, which was delicious. For starters/apps, I tried: -Crab Cakes - The dish came with three cakes, all of which were pretty soft; maybe that is just the style they cook it with, but I wished they were crispy. They had a very strong crab flavor and tasted good. The aioli dip was fine, but could've been a bit more seasoned. -Mussels - probably my favorite app; the tomato broth was well-flavored and paired well with the bread. -Truffle Fries - pretty average; again, wished they were a bit crispier. For entrees, I got the scallops, which were cooked nicely. The risotto was creamy and overall good, though it was slightly too mushy for me. My boyfriend got the Delmonico steak and asked for medium, but it came out closer to medium well. The steak tasted good though, as did the mashed potatoes. Overall a pretty decent meal, with definitely some hits and misses. For price point, I would expect more consistent quality, so I'm giving it 3 instead of 4 stars.

The hotel from our walk on Mariana Drive

Dining at the Casteel restaurant was a delightful surprise. The kitchen at our nearby hotel was under renovation, and the only alternative they offered was a very expensive brunch, much more than we were looking for. So we used Yelp to find a nearby alternative, and were delighted to find the Zamora Hotel on the canal a short walk away. I had the traditional breakfast and my husband had the Smoked Salmon Benedict, well served by Red who could not have been more attentive and accommodating. The Zamora and it's restaurant were a real find and we plan to be back next time

So this was our first date in a very long time since having kids so we picked a spot that was more for adults. We got there and pulled into valet they gave us a ticket and told us to have it stamped when we got upstairs. Took the elevator up to the second floor and walked over to the restaurant. We made reservations but there was no there so we sat outside. Our server was the only server so when more people showed up the less he came around. I ordered a Margarita and a order of the cauliflower. My husband got the burger medium rare and fries for the side. The drinks came out quick which was good I loved the black salt rim.I will say the food time was lengthy. Once we got our dishes we realized that the added the mustard after asking for it plain just bacon and then also the burger was over cooked to well done. BUT I can say it was still delicious after scraping off the mustard and getting a new bun, and the fries were good and well and they even took it off the bill because it wasn't what my husband asked for. My cauliflower was delicious Maybe a little heavy on sauces but delicious I would order it again. When it came down to the end we didn't see our server at all so we decided to walk in and pay the bill he apologized and said he was the only one working which we figured but we told him no worries. Now the experience was a little shy of what we were hoping for but the roof top is a beautiful spot to grab a drink and relax that opened at 4pm. The weather and the atmosphere was perfect.

Yes this iOS dining in the time of covid but the experience here was likely to make you forget the times. This restaurant is in the second floor of hotel and it overlooks the intracoastal. I'm sure the views during daylight are spectacular. The interior is welcoming, upscale with salmon walls and nice Spanish candelabras. They do require masks our excellent waiter wore a shield. And they keep you very separate so no concerns. The service was top notch, friendly, bulk our waiter was knowledgeable and just far away and close enough to ensure you lacked for nothing. This guy is in the too 10 % of his profesión. In wild come back just for him. There was live music with a Latin twist. Enjoyable but Tokyo tool loud. Finally the food. We started with As to to the food there is an artist in the kitchen. We ordered a Florida snapper that was just perfect. Seared to perfection with nice flaky interior. Served with a spinach and watercress salad and with a carrot bisque that added to the flavor. This was a special so maybe they don't always have it but if they do highly recommended. We had the fried cauliflower as an appetizer also very nice. They have some extent house wines too.

Amazing fancy place in Zamora. Food spot on - steaks, seafood, upscale fine dining. Steaks rival Berns, seafood very fresh, kitchen knows it stuff. Charcuterie appetizer - meal in itself, wonderful assortment of meats, cheeses, fruits, spreads. Service friendly and on point. Better than places twice the price! Valet parking is free, and restaurants is beautiful - lots of dark wood, leather, great water views.

Tried this restaurant for the first time last night, had a good time! The margarita drink was topped with Cabernet Sauvignon and had a black salt rim, which I had never heard of before but thought it was so fun! I ordered the short rib pasta--it was good; but if I go again I would probably try something else. My dad liked his chicken and waffles. I also enjoyed both apps. I can't remember what my second drink was called--pamplona or something like that? Gin drink with grapefruit. Anyhow, I would recommend giving Castile a try! Xoxo, Is this thing on?

Seafood option. (Cobia ceviche, tuna, clams, shrimp).

We had a poor experience for Mother's Day brunch. We made reservations a few weeks ago understanding there was a $75 per person brunch for our party of 7. I received two calls days before making sure we understood the price and if we were sure we still wanted to come. I do appreciate them checking but I also let them know on the phone we were boating in. When we arrived by boat they told us it is $35 for boat parking + tax which they never informed us about over the phone. We have boated to Zamora for years and they apparently just last week changed this. My other issue was the lack of options for a $75 brunch. It was a pastry, salad, breakfast, raw bar, prime rib (not great) and dessert buffet. I've definitely had better selections at other restaurants in the area and expected more at Castile. I most likely will not reserve for a buffet in the future. And unfortunately they are among the few nicer boat up restaurants in St. Pete, so it is disappointing.

SOLID 5 STARS! My…read moreniece, Laura, and her partner, Rich, are visiting from Chicago. She wanted a restaurant with outdoor seating, a view of the water, an excellent wine list, fine dining selections, AND open on a Monday night. I cried for Help from Yelp. 82 Degrees nailed all 5 criteria. At 6:15pm We were able to make an on-line reservation for three people for 6:30pm. Be careful to only park in spots designated for the restaurant or you will be towed. You can't miss the parking signs because they are plastered on every parking spot. We arrived and were immediately shown to a choice rooftop table just in time to enjoy a fine view of the sunset on the Gulf. After the sun set the bartender asked the diners at the dozen or so tables if they wanted the huge glass windows closed, and since it was starting to get chilly everyone agreed. My niece is very knowledgeable about wine, so she took charge of the wine list. After discussing the (Admittedly small, but well selected) list with the sommelier Laura chose the Iron + Sand Cabernet Sauvignon, a well-regarded, bold red wine from Paso Robles, California (4.8 Stars rating, I looked it up). She must have liked it, because she drank two glasses. Later on, she ordered a Pinot Grigio to go with her entree but I've forgotten the name. She also chose specialty drinks for Rich and I that were tasty and had a nice kick to them, but I don't remember their names either. I would have taken a picture of the drinks menu but my niece wouldn't let go of the list! (Which also meant we couldn't see the prices either, but like the saying goes: If you have to ask, you can't afford it!) It took us a while to study the menu. Just like the wine list, the menu has limited selections but offers excellent choices. It was hard to make a decision! We started off sharing Crab Cakes ($18) and Lobster Bruschetta ($21) appetizers, and we also shared an order of the Lobster Bisque ($15). All three of us agreed that the appetizers were yummy, but the Lobster Bisque was worth the trip all by itself! For my entree I ordered the Wild Caught Snapper with mango pineapple salsa and broccolini ($36) and Truffle Fries ($9). Rich went with the Grouper BLT ($26) and Laura chose the Parmesan Cream Pasta ($26) (Which was why she needed a white wine to go with her entree). Portions did not appear to be large, yet none of us were able to finish our entrees, leaving plenty for Rich and Laura to take home in biodegradable containers for a midnight snack. I'm sorry I wasn't quick enough to get pictures of the entrees. Rich and Laura are not used to snapping pics before digging in, but I can tell you they were all well presented. Even though we were all full, we couldn't resist sharing a slice of: SALTED CARAMEL BUTTERFINGER CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE!!! ($12). Just the name tells you everything you need to know. While Rich and I were dueling with our forks, Laura swooped in and ate most of the dessert, which is totally unfair but is a legitimate female perk so there was nothing we could do. Next time we'll order more than one slice! Our perky waitress was extremely busy serving everyone but managed to keep the entire restaurant happy with her service. I don't think I saw her standing still for more than a couple seconds. Didn't get her name, either, but I'm sure the excellent tip told her we were pleased.

Parking is minimum $50 a day + fees. A cocktail? For an hour? Haha no. I'm being mildly disingenuous. The bar staff (and likely restaurant staff) will give you a QR code to validate all $58 of your parking. But it made me acutely miss a time when you could just park and patronize an establishment. Just don't forget to validate your parking, cuz they sure didn't ask preemptively. They were celebrating a 3-day grand reopening when we went on Saturday. There was *one* artisan in their market space. The music was pumping loud enough to not be able to converse. Although it drew a crowd of younger folks, there was not much to behold from the "grand" reopening. Not even s cost of paint. The beach bar may not have been part of the sprucing up idk, I didn't see anything worth celebrating. I meant to look at the size of the cocktail cup that we got (small), but $13-14 for a cocktail is highway robbery for the end result. And $18 for 6 wings ($3 a wing) was a little disappointing. I expected better of a Hilton adjoined restaurant. No one part was terrible. It was just the way they matched up - loud, expensive, small portions. If you're loud maybe you're cheap and tasty. If you're expensive, maybe you're fast and delicious. This was all the worst parts of a bar that doesn't care about its patrons' economics. A bar that wants to serve tourists with mediocrity and move on to the next crop of people who will never be there again. If you're a tourist it'll probably be fine, if overpriced. If you're a local, don't bother. To be fair, we should ask if there was anything good. hm ... no. We won't be returning. 3 stars is probably generous.

If you're looking for a (mostly) tequila-based craft cocktail, or a break from the norm in walking distance from numerous hotels and beach bars, this is definitely the place to go. They're related to the excellent Agave restaurant two doors down in the same building, so certain Agave food items are available here. In any case, I stopped in for some drinks recently and loved everything. I started with their Oaxaca Old Fashioned, which is an orange-tasting mix of tequila, mezcal and bitters. Moved on to The Don; a great margarita. Finally, feeling the need to step it up, I asked for a recommendation on a reasonably priced smooth tequila to sip; the recommended Padre Azul anejo was exactly what I was looking for. The interior has more of a lounge vibe than a bar; lots of group seating areas, a pool table, chess, etc. Now, my six months later update to my original review; I've since ventured into the world of mezcal, and love coming here to find random new mezcals they get in. Mezcal is also produced from the agave plant, but unlike tequila, generally can't be produced in anywhere near the volume, so you aren't going to find it receiving the same attention tequila does, since no distiller could generate enough to keep up with the demand an advertising campaign would bring. I've found I really enjoy a smoky mezcal, straight up or even for an upgraded margarita, and many of the mezcals they serve here can also be purchased in bottle form at the liquor store next door (a family member of the owner owns that store).

This is a 2 star at best. Bad parking to start with. Few tables and a tourist trap restaurant…read more Over priced for below average food. Staff was just ok nothing special. I would rank it with taco bell food quality for 3 times the money.
