Have been with this dentist for 10+ years and all of a sudden they have gone DOWNHILL... I was told (when i asked, because it wasn't told to me, or I wasn't notified about it) that as of Jan 2026, they no longer bill secondary insurances. You have to file your own claims. Also, I had a partial done and was told neither one of my insurances were paying on it and it came out completely different than what we had originally discussed (not happy with it). I paid a large portion out of pocket and after contacting my insurance they told me it would be covered at 50%, when I contacted the dentist office back I was told "Well, we didn't run it through the insurance, because if later you wanted an implant, then the insurance wouldn't cover it". I was upset and told them, that that is not a decision they should make and should have not told me that my insurance wasn't paying anything on it. I told them I wanted them to submit the claim to my insurance. They submitted claim and it shows I was to pay a small portion. I contacted then few weeks later and asked them about reimbursement and they said the claim has not been completed and they have not been paid. I contacted the insurance company and claim had been processed and payment had been sent to dental office. When I called to tell them that their response now was " Your husband has an open claim, and we need to wait for that to be completed". I told them my husbands claim has nothing to do with mine and his claims are separate from mine. I emailed a few days ago since I have heard nothing back, got a response "as soon as all claims are settled, I will email you. You will get your credit back in the last form of payment." I contacted Delta Dental today and we have no claims pending. I am getting excuse after excuse , and have not been reimbursed for 2 visits I've had. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CONTACT YOUR INSURANCE TO VERIFY YOUR PORTION TO PAY, BECAUSE THEY ASK YOU TO PAY MORE THAN YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO PAY, AND YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT YOUR OWN CLAIM TO YOUR SECONDARY INSURANCE. read more

Normally never send in reviews especially on a medical professionals. My unpleasant experience with this office had to do with their inability to be straight forward with their billing and collecting co-pays when in effect they shouldn't have . It's very important to be very well versed on exactly what your plan pays and if your uncertain , make a phone call to your insurance before they collect the copay . Don't take everything they say as true information, be your own advocate and make the right decision. They are not always right . I will not return to this office because they we're not forthcoming with the truth. read more

I haven't been to the dentist in years due to lack of insurance, so once I finally got it I was pretty apprehensive about going to the dentist knowing the state of my teeth. The front desk staff are very cordial and informative, which made filling out my own new client paperwork very simple. God bless my hygienists heart for going to work on my teeth, I owe her my soul cause I know that was probably a challenge for her. Everyone, including Dr. Cruz, was incredibly attentive and kind and very direct with instructions on return visits and follow up care. I recommend 100%, these ladies deserve your business! read more

I went in for several visits for fillings and cleanings. The last filling I was left in pain. I went back several times to get it fixed with no change in improvement. I was told to call back and let the front desk know to let the dentist know if I was still in pain so that she could see about other options. I called back 3 times and never received a call back from the office about what to do next. My filling was done early 2023 and I have not been able to chew on the left side of my mouth due to how much pain I'm experiencing. It's been almost a year of pain and no resolution. I had zero pain before the filling was done by this office and even though it was the bottom back left molar that was giving me issues, the second time I went in to get the issue fixed, the dentist messed with my tooth up top (no filling) and now BOTH bottom and top teeth hurt. I've called several times and have received no response or call back. Now I have to pay another dentist to fix the issue that this office caused. I do not recommend unless you don't mind taking off from work and coming in several times for a simple filling procedure. read more

I was a customer for over 15 years. I needed a tooth pulled a week ago. They scheduled me for a Monday 5 days later. I've been in so much pain this entire time. I am stuck in traffic so I'm going to be about 10 minutes late. I called to let them know. So the receptionist tells me we can't see you today. I love far away and they schedule me for rush hour traffic. F**k this place and f**k you lady. I'm in so much pain. read more

I was treated as an object, not a human. Treatment was not discussed, just directed. X-rays were not shown and the frequency for return visits were not given, again just directed. Also comfort was not taken into consideration given that people come in with back and body issues And have to lie in various positions for over 5 minutes.The chairs must be the least expensive ones available. read more

Be careful ! I was their patient for the last 2 years, never missed an appointment before until last week. They rescheduled my cleaning appointment to a Saturday without giving me another option. For once, I made a human mistake and missed it, and they charged me $80 because it was a Saturday appointment ($40 for any other day), even though the cleaning service is much cheaper than $80 if I was there. They must have done a Saturday appointment in purpose, so they would make more MONEY if I didn't show up. They don't care about you, it's all about the money. These people are scam. No matter how a doctor is, making money off your patient like that is a SHAME! read more

Looking for a dentist...look no further! Dr. Cruz and staff is professional, timely, and all smiles. Office takes Covid very seriously and has made many changes for their patients safety...including new apparatus in lobby area between staff and patient, mask worn by all, doors looked to prompt staff to take your temperature prior to entering, and on-line questionnaire about Covid. Not very professional. Never could tell when the doc was talking to me. No eye contact. Just spoke about prices? Really? Uh no, not gonna keep seeing this person! Also tech made the X-ray experience excruciatingly painful. I've never been hurt so much just trying to take X-rays. Now how can I go elsewhere? The twice yearly benefit from my insurance has been used so now I have to wait six months and find another dentist. I'll call the insurance to complain then maybe I can see someone sooner. I schedule my appointments 6 months in advance and have been a patient for 4.5 years. I had it scheduled for 10am on Tuesday, December 5. The day before I was asked on a reminder phone call if I could come in at 9:45 instead. "I will try," was my response. So I ended up having a hectic morning and bad traffic and ended up walking in at 9:54. I was promptly told that I was ten minutes late and they had taken another patient in front of me, so I'd have to wait. I WAITED AN HOUR for a 15 minute cleaning, no exam. I expressed my displeasure at being treated with such an "eye-for-an-eye" attitude and reminded them that I had patiently waited in the past for my appointments when they were running late without complaint. Even typing this up I am shocked all over again at this approach to treating patrons. I believe in giving people a second chance so at this time I am not going to switch providers, but I am still upset about how poorly I was treated. read more
