With a name like "Granny's Attic" and the dusty old outside appearance, you can see how people might think this was one of those rummage stores that try to pass themselves off as "antique" stores. This is not that. If Neiman Marcus were an antique store, it would be Granny's Attic. This is not where you go to find a $500 antique dining set - you have to troll craigslist like the rest of us. This is where you go with your fancy-pants designer and furnish your penthouse in gorgeous antiques. Or, like the rest of us, you go here to find the one or two beautiful splurge items that add character to a room. There is something of a display challenge in that there is so much incredible stuff here (literally boggles the mind with decorating possibilities), you simply cannot appreciate it. It wants for a stately showroom (but where's the fun in that). This stuff is very high end and there are some extremely interesting pieces.
