We absolutely loved this little coffee shop! It's located in the back corner of the arcade area in Avalon, surrounded by beautiful trees and plenty of tables & seating areas! The staff here was so lovely, it was our first time & they offered plenty of suggestions/modifications they can make to your drinks. Not pictured here was the chocolate croissant and the berry danish we had that were absolutely delicious as well! The inside is quite small but so so cute. They have so many little trinkets to look at for purchase as well. Our drinks came out very quick which was awesome! I will say we went quite early in the morning on a Thursday, and again early morning on a Friday and it wasn't busy. However, we stopped by again later in the day on Friday to check out all the cute stores surrounding and it was PACKED! To beat the crowd, go early. This little shop is great, they offer a ton outside seating so you can enjoy your cookie and drink in the sun or walk down a bit more and sit by the beach. Service did take long as there was a cruise that stopped here this day and I hear they stop by often. But even tho they were swamped they were still very friendly and answered our questions. The line was SUPER long on memorial monday, which was pretty expected for how amazing this place is. We got the mango smoothie which was very flavorful, fresh, and tasted like it was made with freshly ripe mangoes. It was a weird, gummy texture, and it tasted artificial. It reminded me of little bites, but in a bad way. The people with me liked the matcha cookie though. In town for a little more than 24 hours and stopped in to CC&C two times. Tiny and crowded spot (especially Saturday because a cruise ship was in port). Could be a 5 star spot with some tweaks... The coffee was tasty. However was made differently from one day to the next. I had the iced toffee crunch latte both days. The first day was dressed up with caramel around the cup and whipped cream. The second day (the less busy day) was lacking the caramel and whip. The house made baked goods were really good. First day we had the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. So very good. The Eclipse cookie was ok. It was like having two different cookies due to half the cookie being dipped in white chocolate. It was just ok. So, aside from the inconsistencies in drink making the other problem, was the ordering and pickup was confusing. People were kind of mixed together. I was craving a breakfast burrito and avocado toast and found that this place had both! My husband and I shared both items. Between the breakfast burrito and the avocado toast, we both loved the breakfast burrito a lot. It had the perfect amount of filling inside compared to how much tortilla they used to wrap it. Sometimes a lot of other places use too much tortilla, but this place did not! The burrito also came with their chipotle sauce which tasted well with it. We came here because we saw it in a travel vlog and thought it was the only coffee shop in town. Spoiler alert: it's not. And honestly, thank goodness. We visited on a Saturday afternoon for some caffeine fix. So many good coffee and pastry choices on the menu and on display inside the glass counter by the register. The baristas were awesome and informed us about Catalina Coffee & Cookie Company. Our Iced Matcha and Iced Mocha were ready within a few minutes. The Iced Matcha was good. I was on a Carnival cruise and needed to find good wifi since I didn't pay for the high and slow wifi on the ship. I got the Mango smoothie and it was great! They have a full breakfast, light lunch, and typical Starbucks type coffee/tea/drinks. The location is close to the cruise port, has a lot of outdoor seating with shade (shared with other businesses in this mall), the staff is very friendly, and the prices weren't bad considering this is an island. And their Wifi was very strong (free for customers)! I was able to enjoy my Mango smoothie and catch up on the internet at this location. The potatoes were seasoned and cooked perfectly, the eggs were soft and fluffy, and everything just came together in the most satisfying way. It was good but not exceptional. We had a great time sipping on coffee and enjoying the music! There are also plenty of restaurants around the seating area. We picked up sandwiches from a nearby joint and relaxed in the outdoor seating area. All in all, the coffee is perfect and the music was lovely! I highly recommend checking this cafe out! read more
