We absolutely loved this little coffee shop! It's located in the back corner of the arcade area in Avalon, surrounded by beautiful trees and plenty of tables & seating areas! The staff here was so lovely, it was our first time & they offered plenty of suggestions/modifications they can make to your drinks. Not pictured here was the chocolate croissant and the berry danish we had that were absolutely delicious as well! The inside is quite small but so so cute. They have so many little trinkets to look at for purchase as well. Our drinks came out very quick which was awesome! I will say we went quite early in the morning on a Thursday, and again early morning on a Friday and it wasn't busy. However, we stopped by again later in the day on Friday to check out all the cute stores surrounding and it was PACKED! To beat the crowd, go early. The pastries looked pretty decent here, so I ended up getting the blueberry muffin, and the people with me got the matcha cookie. I did not like the blueberry muffin at all. It was a weird, gummy texture, and it tasted artificial. It reminded me of little bites, but in a bad way. The people with me liked the matcha cookie though. Someone with me got the matcha, and said it was one of the worst matchas she has ever had. It was not creamy at all, was bitter, and she didn't even come close to finishing it. I tried the white chocolate matcha cookie (didn't even know that was a thing!) and it was SO good--perfectly soft with a great balance of matcha and sweetness from the white chocolate. The iced lattes were delicious too. The inside is tiny! There is friendly service and definitely a popular spot because there was a line out the door pretty much every time we walked by (our hotel was right in the same courtyard), but honestly, it was worth the wait if you're craving something sweet or need a caffeine boost. read more

The line was SUPER long on memorial monday, which was pretty expected for how amazing this place is. We got the mango smoothie which was very flavorful, fresh, and tasted like it was made with freshly ripe mangoes. In town for a little more than 24 hours and stopped in to CC&C two times. Tiny and crowded spot (especially Saturday because a cruise ship was in port). Could be a 5 star spot with some tweaks... The coffee was tasty. However was made differently from one day to the next. I had the iced toffee crunch latte both days. The first day was dressed up with caramel around the cup and whipped cream. The second day (the less busy day) was lacking the caramel and whip. The house made baked goods were really good. First day we had the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. So very good. The Eclipse cookie was ok. It was like having two different cookies due to half the cookie being dipped in white chocolate. It was just ok. So, aside from the inconsistencies in drink making the other problem, was the ordering and pickup was confusing. People were kind of mixed together. Having a defined line and/or signage would be helpful. read more

Great place for coffee and breakfast items! This coffee shop was literally less than a minute walking distance from our hotel in Avalon. I was craving a breakfast burrito and avocado toast and found that this place had both! My husband and I shared both items. Between the breakfast burrito and the avocado toast, we both loved the breakfast burrito a lot. It had the perfect amount of filling inside compared to how much tortilla they used to wrap it. Sometimes a lot of other places use too much tortilla, but this place did not! The burrito also came with their chipotle sauce which tasted well with it. As for the avocado toast, it was mediocre for me. The next morning, my husband and I ended up getting our own breakfast burritos hehe. We came here because we saw it in a travel vlog and thought it was the only coffee shop in town. Spoiler alert: it's not. And honestly, thank goodness. The potatoes were seasoned and cooked perfectly, the eggs were soft and fluffy, and everything just came together in the most satisfying way. Over hyped place & here's why! The bagel and egg sandwich was a premade egg from someplace else that they microwaved. The coffee was terrible. Had way too much milk in it, I brought it back to the counter and asked them to put more coffee in my cup they told me to drink off some of the coffee first, and then they would add more coffee instead of pouring some out or even perhaps remaking it the proper way.
