The owner and his staff were extremely gracious and very friendly helpful throughout the weekend. I will say the on-site coordinator was a little challenging to work with at times as many of the things we were told when we visited the site before choosing to have the wedding there weren't necessarily true, but most of that was minor details and didn't negatively impact our day in the long run. They more than made up for it on the day of the wedding by making sure we and our guests were well taken care of. Not to mention, the wine is amazing. All of our guests loved it. We had our ceremony at the Catholic church and elected to have our ceremony in the back meadow because we liked it better. We were able to have our planner string some lights and it made for a beautiful and peaceful backdrop that easily accommodated our guest count of ~100 people with a dance floor. We also utilized the Air BnB option by staying in the 2 bedroom apartment above the tasting room and it made everything so easy. It has a beautiful, open layout with plenty of space for me and my family and friends to get ready. They also were kind enough to allow our pups who joined us for the reception. Overall an amazing venue with amazing staff. We are so happy with our decision and wouldn't have done anything differently. The tasting room is in a hidden little alcove off Main Street, their hours are ??? (Saturday seems most reliable) and they don't charge for tastings except the port. There's nowhere else in Murphy's that does a full-gamut port tasting as far as I'm aware, and it's incredible. If you have never tasted a delicious, mystifying port while the (French) winemaker and his (German) wife pop quiz you about the tasting notes with expectant, mischievous expressions, you haven't really lived. They also make the best Viognier in town by a massive margin (it tastes like flowers and stonefruit without being sweet at all and I compare every other Viognier to this now). I've taken my mom here. I've taken my grandparents here. I've taken all my friends here. If I'm in Murphy's with someone who has never been here, I assume it is my duty to spread the good word, and now I'm spreading it to Yelp too.

We hadn't made time to stop at any wineries during the day, so we choose to stop in here due to the recommendation of Worldmark staff. This is a phenomenal wine tasting option whether you have the time to visit individual local wineries or not, as 13 wineries are represented: Chatom, Chiarella, Cpppermine, Domaine Becquet, Frog's Tooth, Four Winds, Ironstone, LaFolia, Mineral, Prospect 772, Renner, Stevenot, and Zucca Mountain. For a small fee (Worldmark guests receive a discount), we tried several Domaine Becquet (Cab-Shiraz), Four Winds (Chard), Ironstone (Zin 104), Mineral (Merlot) and Zucca Mtn (Sangiovese). Buck, our gracious host, shared a wealth of knowledge on each winery, winemaker and family, making the tastings very personal, special and interesting! There was no "favoritism" for one wine or winery. One couple in our group purchased several bottles, however one, the Domaine Becquet Cab-Shiraz (DELISH!) was not in stock, but would be available in 24-48 hours. Buck took our number and as soon as this wine was available, he contacted us and made arrangements to drop it off at our room when convenient for us. Wonderful customer service!
