It's easy revenue. Just tell the customer it will be an hour. Proactively Turns away business. Not a good idea. They will either be out of business soon or they're so busy they don't need you! Without hyperbole, this is the greatest pizza I have ever had. I ordered just a plain, boring cheese pizza and it was amazing. The price was not even too extreme for how good it was. The only semi-negative is how crazy expensive their deep dish pizza is; $30 and you're not allowed to customize toppings on it. I'm not too upset about it though because it is a large, delicious pizza, but I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known the price beforehand. If you've never been, their menu is really extravagant and ordering a cheese pizza borderline felt like a sin. Next time I'll try something fancier - I am very intrigued about tart cherries on a pizza. read more

We came here for an early dinner on a Monday evening, excited to try this new Blue Ash location. We were promptly seated inside at a booth in the corner that was so small that it shouldn't be used as a table for guests. No room at all, and it was just the two of us. We asked to move to another table. When we were seated at an appropriate dining table, we placed our drink, appetizer, and pizza order, all within 5 minutes of each other. The appetizer arrived, spinach and artichoke dip (delicious) with crispy flatbread. Very good and I would highly recommend. Then we waited on the pizza. And waited. And waited. Our server let us know it would be out soon, but still didn't come out for another 15 minutes. In total it took over an hour to get our pizza. Normally I won't complain about lengthy service at a restaurant, but our order consisted of one pizza, which btw was decent, the spicy pepperoni was tasty but a bit greasy for my liking. The other half a tomato/pesto which was good. I'm not sure if these wait times are typical of this restaurant but I'm hoping that's not the case. Next time we may just opt for carry-out. read more

First time to this location, but have eaten at the one in MadTree. The decor was very pleasant and they have a nice bar. Unfortunately the rest of my experience was not positive. I ordered online with one hour notice. I arrived to pick up and was told it wasn't ready. I ended up waiting another 15 minutes. I would expect with one hour notice to cook a pizza, it should be ready. When I got home, the base of the pizza was burnt and that taste ruined the meal. I think $17 for a 10" pizza is expensive. The pizza location inside MPH Brewery in Montgomery is better. read more

I have never been to a restaurant where the service started out so well, only to end terrible. I was seated right away with water and a menu. I then proceeded to sit for 20 minutes without even an acknowledgement from anybody that worked there. A server did manage to spend that time talking to their friends who were seated after me and next to me at the same bar, but managed to get a beer and order food while I was waiting. Definitely won't be back or recommending to any friends. I love their pizza at madtree but it will be hard to support in the future read more

We ordered on their first day of business (carry-out) and were not disappointed. The kids declared it their new favorite pizza. The house salad was a healthy touch and full of flavor. Those Boursin potato skins are incredibly addictive (they are actually stuffed red potatoes vs. traditional skins). We got the cheese and the three piggy pizza. Both were fresh and flavorful. I had a bit of a wait but they still felt very organized for their first day. The space is beautiful and I'm looking forward to sitting on the patio soon! read more

Not a good first impression. Put online order in and stated to be ready at 6:30. They now tell me ten more minutes and that was 15 minutes ago. Manager completely overwhelmed and the kitchen was a disaster. Won't go back. Revised post. The manager emailed me already to apologize and I'm impressed. The restaurant decor is beautiful and well thought-out making for a very comfortable dining experience - including a very spacious patio area. Great location, attractive venue, terrific outdoor dining area. Pizzas (when they finally arrived) were excellent. However our food order turn-around was ridiculously slow. We arrived shortly after 7 PM, were seated immediately but still waited to around 8:30 PM for two pizzas to show up. The staff said they had been slammed but after 8 PM the place didn't seem overly busy. The wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable, but had to be embarrassed by the extremely long wait. In all fairness, they comped the pizzas and we had a enjoyable conversation with friends. We will DEFINITELY go back again and give them another try. read more

All I really have to say is if your sensitive to spice. Steer clear of this place! I ordered a pizza with my family with extra sauce. And the spice wasn't even the worst part. I ordered a sweet tea that I finished before our food arrived. I asked if I could get a refill and they gave me a normal ice tea. So when I asked if I could get a sweet tea they just gave me some sweetener. And I had to do this 4 times because I kept drinking my tea because of how spicy the sauce was. And at the end of eating, my dad was still eating when the waiter came to pick up our dishes. And he just stood over him as he watched him finish. My expectations were very high. I've been jones'n for the Blue Ash location to open for a very long time. Anyway....It could be that I took the menu too literal. Nati Bites, "hand rolled soft pretzels..." Pictured as a plate sized pretzel, and I assumed plural. Turned out to be six pretzel bites each about the size of a quarter. Good, but not $9 good. Cheese and sauce flavoring on the pizza crust was pretty good, way light. I appreciate its a bad time in the universe, but don't skimp on the quantity of your food. Okay so this place is absolutely beautiful!! We ordered the pretzel bites with beer cheese and spicy mustard, a half portion Caesar salad, cornerstone pizza (their version of pepperoni) and crazy potato heads pizza. Okay so first off let me start by saying the pizza is absolutely amazing both pizzas delivered. The sauce on the cornerstone is amazing and the pepperonis are huge and also amazing!! The crazy potatoheads pizza blew our minds!!! The crust on both was perfect just the right amount of crisp. With that said unfortunately, especially for the price, I was not impressed with the salad or pretzels. The beer cheese itself was amazing but the pretzel balls, as is, were way too salty for me and like salt I had to remove salt from every single one of them. I also thought there maybe would have been a few more I think we only got 5. The half Caesar salad felt like I could count the amount of leaves of lettuce that came with it, the croutons were tiny, and then there was just some shaved Parmesan on top. All that was fine except maybe for the lack of lettuce but the dressing was what was off for me. The pretzels we had also came with a spicy mustard and the dressing tasted like it had some of that spice mustard in it which just didn't taste like it belonged in a Caesar dressing. So overall great experience and would definitely go back for the pizza but may skip on the salad and pretzels maybe I will try a different app next time!! Update: pizza is still amazing!! This time I got a regular size arugula salad and I have to say it was absolutely amazing!!! I change my review to 5 on the sheer fact that I was impressed with the salad I got this time!! read more

So going against 2 personal rules, I guess I have no one to blame for the disappointment but me. Rule #1 - Stick with the menu specialty of the house. We decided we didn't want pizza, and opted for salads and appetizers. Mistake. We added chick to the caesar salad. You had to hunt in the salad to find the tiny cubes of chicken(?). Probably less than 6 bits. The draft beer came out - not cold. Finally asked our waitress about the order of wings and mussels. "Oh yeah". They came out, the wings were cold. Mussels luke warm. The mussels were supposed to be in a tomato broth. That broth looked and tasted a lot like marinara. Rule #2 - When the hostess starts to apologize for the service before you're even seated, turn around and leave. We didn't. At 4:00 on Sunday afternoon they had 2 waitresses for the entire restaurant. The service was spotty, as predicted. Moral of the story - get your pizza to go, and pick up a COLD 6 pack on the way home. read more

This relatively new build out is awesome - cool modern feel, open, MadTree beer, and creative menu from the Catch a Fire folks. This place should have 20 locations around Cinci -- (no offense to other Cinci staples) but this is an outstanding menu, great flavors, great veggie options, and killer one-of-a-kind appetizers. read more

Expectations were low for "another pizza place," but we were blown away by Catch-a-Fire! From the adorable host and attentive waiter, to the delicious food and local beer list, truly everything was wonderful. We ordered a boring pepperoni and olive pizza, but they had many unique pizzas that I want to go back and try. I had a house salad because I'm trying to be healthy, but it was so good and filling that I didn't miss the pizza. (Ok ok, I had one piece). The outside seating was plentiful -- very important to us in covid times! I could also see coming here for a casual date night or with family. So pleased to have a great restaurant like this close by. Support local! read more
