Wagyu Surf & Turf Roll and Hellfire Roll
    Iqrah C.

Decided to revisit Catch after coming a few years ago before the rebrand/ re launch and it was such a beautiful experience and a feast! Not only is this restaurant beautiful visually, the staff and servers are also extremely courteous and inviting and it accentuates the wonderful atmosphere and dining experience here. I wanted to treat my sister after her graduation, so we made a reservation on a weekday evening and it was SO worth it! I love the location as we got to watch the sunset nearby on Little Island. Upon arrival, you are greeted by the doorman and led upstairs to the restaurant itself and it smells so wonderful in that entry way. The restaurant is situated on the second floor and there is a rooftop which will open a bit later into the summer season. We of course started with sushi, and our favorites are the wagyu rolls! These are delectable and melt in your mouth. I could honestly eat 6 rolls of them alone. The waiters also give you a complimentary roll of bread with garlic butter, and they place fresh fruit into your water. I ordered a mojito as a nice refresher. For appetizers we also got the rice cakes and the Wagyu gyoza. These were relatively small quick bites but executed wonderfully. All of the seafood is so fresh here- I highly recommend any of the sushi rolls! For mains we ordered the half lobster frites and the branzino. The lobster is accompanied with fries and they are delicious. Everything is made fresh to order and you can taste it. As dessert we opted for the donuts which you can fill at the table with a variety of fillings: cream, caramel, chocolate and a delish raspberry filling. The opulence and quality of everything was such a bonus and good experience and I can't wait to revisit! Highly recommend for a special outing or just a great dinner in a legendary restaurant!

Catch is a classic hotspot in the Meatpacking District and for their 15th anniversary, they revamped the restaurant and added 15 new menu items. The bao buns with fried chicken and caviar were one of their new additions and definitely a standout that goes great with the wasabi avocado ranch sauce. The complimentary bread is as soft as a freshly baked croissant and pairs perfectly with the sweet whipped honey mustard butter. The tempura rock shrimp doused in spicy mayo is an addicting appetizer. The tuna Niçoise rice cakes are an acquired taste with caviar, bluefin tuna, and briny olives. The miso wagyu flatiron is memorable with a sweet glaze and a mushroom crust. The most unique cocktails are the buttery macadamia white negroni with matcha and Bombay sapphire gin as well as the Bananas Foster old fashioned with amaretto, coconut water, whiskey and rye bourbon. The Hit Me cake is a decadent multi layer dessert with brownie and white chocolate ice cream oozing out after smashing the top layer.

The food was very good! Only docking a star because the prices are insane. And the service was just mid. The food was good but truly the biggest stand out star is the complimentary bread. It's so outstanding haha.

What a fun reservation to score! Catch did a rebranding and it was such a great experience, i have to say the service was quite slow and having to wait 30 + minutes to be seated was annoying, but the food and beverages made up for it.

Came back to @catch after our first visit about 2 years ago during NYC Restaurant Week, and after seeing so many recent videos about changes to the menu, I had high expectations this place did NOT disappoint. It completely exceeded them. The ambiance was beautiful, the service was top-tier, and the staff were incredibly attentive from start to finish. Everything flowed perfectly, from drinks to appetizers to mains. The timing of the food was spot on, and every single dish had me raving. Even the complimentary bread & butter was unforgettable seriously that good. Every bite, every sip just a great experience all around. What we ordered: Food:* East Coast Oysters* Catch Roll* Crispy Chicken Bao Buns* Crunchy Rice Cakes Drinks:* Lychee Martini* Espresso Martini* Lychee Sake-tini* Watermelon Smash Dessert:* "Hit Me" Chocolate Cake Complimentary:* Bread & Sorbet Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. Already looking forward to going back and trying more. 10/10 highly recommend.

The Standouts: * The Seafood: The Bluefin Otoro was buttery perfection--melts in your mouth instantly. We also did the Tuna Niçoise Rice Cakes and the Baked King Crab Hand Roll, both of which had incredible textures. If you're a sushi lover, the Catch Roll is a non-negotiable. * The Mains: You cannot leave without ordering the Angry Lobster Mafaldine. The pasta shape holds the sauce perfectly, and the lobster was tender with just the right amount of kick. * The Bites: Don't sleep on the Crispy Chicken Bao Buns. They were the perfect "comfort" addition to a largely seafood-heavy meal.

This was our annual framily trip to see the tree. We needed a place with amazing food and drinks. We found it. The drinks were great. I loved the Banana Foster Old Fashioned. The rice cake and sushi dishes were fresh and delicious. The wagu steak special was perfectly cooked. All was perfect and then we went to see that famous tree.

A truly exceptional dining experience from start to finish I had an incredible dinner at Catch in NYC, and honestly, it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I was seated, the atmosphere felt electric--vibrant, stylish, and perfect for a night out without being overly loud or chaotic. It's the kind of spot that instantly feels special. What I Ordered & Loved Starters * Shishito Peppers - Perfectly blistered with a subtle heat and that addictive Szechuan sauce. Could've eaten another order. * Caesar Salad - Sounds simple, but this one is elevated. Crisp baby romaine, a soft-boiled organic egg, and garlicky focaccia croutons... truly next-level. Classics * Truffle Sashimi - WOW. Fresh, melt-in-your-mouth tuna and hamachi with a black truffle purée that took the whole dish over the top. A must-order. * Wagyu Gyoza - Silky, flavorful, and paired with a serrano-chili ponzu that gave it the right hit of brightness. * Catch Roll - Sweet crab, salmon, and honey miso--beautifully balanced and delicious. Entrées * Wagyu Fried Rice - Absolutely packed with flavor. Shiitake mushrooms, Chinese sausage, and a perfectly fried egg... comfort food but elevated. * Herb Roasted Branzino - Light, flaky, and perfectly cooked. The creamy vegetable basmati rice it's served with might be one of the best sides I've had in Miami. * Center-Cut Filet Mignon - Tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly the way I requested. Side * Grilled Asparagus - Bright and fresh with a citrus vinaigrette that complemented the heavier dishes perfectly. Dessert * "Hit Me" Chocolate Cake - Believe the hype. A dramatic presentation with layers of brownie, white chocolate ice cream, and that "Klondike" shell that shatters when tapped. Fun AND delicious. * Sorbet - A refreshing finish with a clean, bright flavor. Overall Experience The service was polished and attentive without being intrusive. The staff knew the menu well and made great recommendations. The pace of the meal felt relaxed, and every dish arrived beautifully plated. Catch is absolutely worth a visit whether you're celebrating, hosting friends, or just want a memorable dinner in Miami Beach. Between the ambiance, the standout dishes, and the exceptional service, this restaurant earns every one of its five stars. I'll definitely be back!

This restaurant is a stunner. The vibe is dark and moody. It's a little hidden down a dark hallway to the elevator that pops you out on the second story restaurant. Obviously a very trendy spot. We were seated in a romantic corner booth with a great view of things. Our server Bailey was outstanding and made sure we were well educated on the menu selections and drinks. We ordered the Caesar salad which has big juicy pieces of bacon. Next up the Wagyu surf and turf roll which was my favorite thing of the night. We also had the crispy shrimp, truffle fries and split a filet. Everything was outstanding and we decided to break our rule on this one and visit again if we have guests in town. Very impressive spot and they have a rooftop bar that we hope to try next time.

We had a Saturday night reservation and had a great time. The restaurant has a nice aesthetic and service was good. The complementary bread was great! The Bao buns were slightly disappointing especially since there was a two piece minimum. The steak was tasty and the Lobster pasta was fantastic. The fries were great but 9 bucks for a couple sauces seems excessive. The hit me cake was a nice treat but the strawberry shortcake was lacking.

Wow- this place really exceeded my expectations. It's located in a very pretty part of town. Staff was very warm and friendly. The restaurant itself was very cool and modern. Our server was fantastic. Food was great, highlights were crab rolls and bok choy salad. I was super impressed, will come back next time I'm in NYC. Would highly recommend. Also cocktails were fire. Loved Fluffy Margarita.

Cocktail menu. Price reasonable for NYC lower Manhattan.

This place is everything, from the food to the service. I was not in the least disappointed. Make sure you have reservations because the wait time can be long. I went out wit

I love catch, I have been here a few times. They recently went through a renovation. We went on a Saturday night and I was dissapointed. I've gotten use to the great food but this time it left alot to be desired. I love the rock shrimp which is what I always go for and this time it tasted I little different. I ordered truffle fries and they were a bit greasy and sticking together. The mushroom pasta is always delicious a must try. The branzino was good but nothing to write home about. The bartender who made our drinks Harley was fantastic he made great drinks so much so that after eating we went back to the bar.

Do you have any desserts that have NO chocolate?

They have some donuts that can be chocolate free if you don't dip.

Is the Hit Me dessert still on the menu?

I was there a few weeks ago and it was!

Do you guys still serve the waffle tower for brunch?

    Hi Maya!! Yes, we do!

Is the rooftop open during the winter? And am I allowed to dine on the rooftop if I'm underage?

The dinner side seats outside but not sure in the winter. I suggest calling them

Do they have a happy hour?

How big are the portions? Should an average/skinny guy order two plates + dessert, or will one hot plate + dessert be enough?

Portions are decent sized. Average skinny guy could get away with one appetizer, one entree, and dessert!

    Do they ID at door?

During dinner hours no but after 11pm yes

How loud is it? Is it loud because of music or ppl talking? Hoping to bring my 60 yr old parents here but sometimes they complain if restaurants are so loud we can't hear each other talk lol, so is Catch like that?

It is SO loud, my voice hurt the next day

How is the upstairs dance floor ? Good music?

Very packed after hours Young crowd Dancing… Read more

Is there parking on the street?

I don't recall any cars parked on the street.

What time Does the dance floor open?

    10pm on rooftop

Do they ID after a certain hour if I'm just coming for dinner?

I think after 10 or 11pm they do ID you because of their rooftop but you can re-confirm with the restaurant. Better to make reservations before you go.

Fun place for 24th birthday dinner?

Yes but make reservations thru open table in advance. If you want to check out the rooftop lounge get there before 10pm. Otherwise they try to make you do bottle service for ridiculous prices. Dinner will be on the expensive side.

Dinner on the rooftop recommended for a group of 4-6?

Yes. The outdoor terrace is narrow, so you'll be seated in the covered area.

Am I the only one who thought that the Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes are like real pancakes instead of one single dry pan-made cake?^^

LMBO. I saw pictures of the "pancake" before I arrived so I knew what to expect. I thoroughly enjoyed mine.

At work, the Godfather wanted to order (unusual for him to suggest it; usually I'm the 1 pushing for us to order out, and he's invariably resistant, although ultimately, he's acquiescent, although just as invariably he blames me for "pushing him into it" as he gobbles down whatever food it was we've ordered). I was willing but wanted to try something different than our usual fare (burgers, Chinese, Japanese, sandwiches). Someone else mentioned Exotic Eats, as a younger co-worker had ordered from there recently and seemed to enjoy what he had eaten. I asked, "Does this younger co-worker have a discriminating palate?" (Not actually being quite the jerk I oftentimes seem to be, I did of course use less pretentious, overblown verbiage in asking my question.) The reply was, "He's young; he'll order almost anything and like it." So...it might be great; it might be horrible. So we took a chance. They deliver, and I was intrigued by their on-line menu. I can't remember what the Godfather ordered, or another co-worker who wanted us to include him in what had once been known as the Lunchbox Mafia, but I ordered "the Island Bowl." Sliced jerk chicken breast on a bed of Mac & Cheese with jerk BBQ sauce. Being hungry, I ordered a side of blueberry cornbread, and the dessert of banana pudding cheesecake. All of it washed down with my ever-present bottle of Poland Spring water. We didn't have to wait long for it to be delivered. As I mentioned in my introductory remarks, I found the food fabulous. The jerk chicken in its BBQ sauce had a tangy sting, but it wasn't unpleasant or pain-producing. And I have to say-- the Mac & Cheese was the best I've had since my late mother used to make it for me in childhood. It's a baked "dry" Mac & Cheese as opposed to the overly sauced (and bland) version you get in most restaurants these days (all it was missing was the crumbled crackers that my mother used to put on top of it). Pure deliciousness, as they say. The blueberry cornbread was the perfect accompaniment, and the banana pudding cheesecake was wonderfully smooth, creamy, and decadent. I wasn't feeling bloated to the point of discomfort once I had finished it all, but I definitely felt "well fed." My fellow partakers were equally as enthused. Prices were fair, portions were immeasurably more than adequate, and the meal was luxuriously satisfying on every single level. As mentioned, delivery didn't take long at all, and it arrived hot. I'm not entirely sure how to classify the cuisine. The website described it as "Soul Food" with a "Caribbean Spirit." A long-time friend of mine is Jamaican, and she used to throw a big feast for friends and family every summer (I was usually the only white person invited, which was never any sort of a problem, although once a little kid of 4 or 5 looked at me with hostility and said, "What are YOU doing here?"), before health issues sidelined that annual event. She was a great cook, and everything was fresh-- jerk chicken, fish, ackee that always reminded me of scrambled eggs, breadfruit, sorrel liquor, etc. Despite the quality of the food served, I never really acquired a taste for Jamaican cuisine (I ventured out once to a Jamaican restaurant in Perth Amboy with friends; they were enthusiastic about it but it wasn't of the same quality as my friend served, and obviously didn't transform me into a "fan"), but I don't know that Exotic Eats is Jamaican per se. But I know that what I had was delicious and filling, and I can't wait to order from Exotic Eats again. Obviously, very highly recommended.

We ordered a bottle of Sancerre but would have been better off with the vouvray. Be aware, Sirenetto doesn't open until noon.

My cousin (god we love her) lives in the building next door so for the past 2 years Haven has been…read moreher haunt. Now I have a thing when people say "it's just next door" or "it's right down the street." What did George Dubya say? Fool me once and it's shame on you, fool me twice and the shame is mine for getting us into a war based on lies and greed?" Yeah something like that. Anyways, I typically don't believe when people say something is close so whenever I visit her we just order in delivery rather than motivate (ie put on a bra) and go out. But dang it this is literally. Right. Next. Door. As in I can sit on the deck outside of the restaurant and look in her living room. Smh. I say all that to say IVE BEEN MISSING OUT!! Her bday was this weekend so she booked a large table for family and friends. I was relieved to see they had valet. Parking is atrocious in this development so to only pay $10 to be 10 feet from the door was awesome. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff know her well and treated her as a valued guest. Here's the rundown: We went for BRUNCH. They have a prix fixe for $41 of most of the brunch items and it includes 2 Bellini, 2 mimosas, or 2 Bloody Marys. Good right? Welp what you don't know is that their cocktail menu is incredible so to heck with the prix fixe. We got mimosas at home!! Between the 10 of us we got cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desserts, coffee. Highlights: -Service was spectacular. Wesley was On It! By the time we finished eating there was another party of 10+ seated right behind us that he was servicing. I hope he enjoys the reward$ of his hard work! Make it rain on em Wesley! -Fat friendly seating. No arms, solid chairs, comfortable cushions. We were there for 4 hours and my booty was never sore. -Food. We tore it up and it was all delicious. My half of the table had the farm house breakfast sando, the fried chicken sando, French omelette, huevo rancheros. We shared the crab hush puppies, wings, calamari, goat cheese salad, and blueberry pancakes. I was nosey and saw that some of my other table mates ordered the skirt steak and eggs and the short rib. -Drinks. I know my husband loves mango so I suggested he get the smoked mango drink. I didn't know it came with theatrics. Dinner and a show?! Btw by the time our table was done almost everyone had ordered one. Lychee martini, Paloma, old fashioned, midnight espresso. Also all very good! -The View. Our party was too large to sit outside but we did sit right at the floor to ceiling windows. In between birthday wishes and food comas we watched the boats, jet skis, and undulating waves of the Hudson. Previous posters are correct - the place is pricey. But high key the people who live in that area are already paying a premium for everything else sooooo. Now, I DONT live in that area lmao so this will be a rarer treat for me. But I was happy to celebrate my cousin's birthday in a place that she loves. Awesome experience - I look forward to returning! 10/10 would put on a bra for this and walk downstairs lol

TBH, I don't really remember the rest of the meal. i think dessert was something sugary, dunno... Service was... oh, who cares when your body is coursing with medium-rare iron and slightly charred protein hunks that the noble bovine has so generously given mankind. And I guess I was there for my anniversary or something. I remember whatever riverfront view the restaurant touts was completely obscured by shitty rain. Oh, but the STEAK... I guess my wife liked her meal. Pasta? Chicken? Chicken pasta? Whatevs, it wasn't steak, so no matter. We're still married.

Our server Ricardo was amazing, never made us feel rushed, and was very attentive. The food was so well cooked from the appetizers to the dessert. The braised short ribs just fell apart and was so succulent. The highlight was the pistachio creme brulee that had a very tasty berry compote. The decor in the restaurant was beautiful from the woodwork to the lights. I generally dont find myself in Weehawken, but I will definitely take another trip to Faubourg.

We started off with the cheeseboard. The selection was bland with a side of bread. No other textures. I've had it in the past where it was organized by mild to the more stronger bites. Last night was all mild. No crackers or honey. I got the wagu and a side of fingerling potatoes. No mention that it came with fries. It came out with a side of fries. The waitress could have told me otherwise I would have switched my sides. Thanks for the heaping mound of potatoes. Also the wagu was lacking flavor and the presentation was meh. We still love this place and maybe it was just an off night. I just expect more for a $250 Wednesday night dinner.
