If you don't get the carbonara don't go. Sushi is basic sushi nothing to write home about . Must have edamame, wedge salad , yellowtail crudo, cucumbers, carbonara and wagyu 12 oz

Came in for sake-ton and the space was transformed into sake tasting tables with good passed around . I really enjoyed various bites and everything was fresh and matcha cocktail was yummy . I appreciated the rice texture and seasoning of maki and nigiri. The karaage chicken was perfectly done nicely crunchy and piping hot .

Amazing food and service! I recommend the miso ginger salmon, the 5 piece nigiri and the avocado roll which was very refreshing.

This isn't girlfriend and I favorite spot. The ambiance is very pleasing. The food is very fresh and savory and made with care and love, the drinks are perfect with it being not too strong and not too light with a perfect blend. The service was very nice our server had a big party to handle, so it could be a lil slow at times but so always made sure we were taken care of . Definitely coming back would recommend to everyone for business and date night, even birthdays. 9.5/10

We had reservations for 6 pm on a Saturday to celebrate our anniversary. Sake No Hana is located downstairs in the Moxy Hotel, and you see immediately that it is a stunning restaurant. Checking in took a few minutes since they open at 6, but I used that time to check in my coat (complimentary) and use the restroom. Upon seating, we were gifted a card acknowledging our anniversary. I was nervous about the service since it seemed like a hit or miss in the reviews, but our server, Michael, was so nice and incredibly helpful, making great suggestions for our dinner. For cocktails, we had the Awayuki icon, Ziggy Basara, Fruits Magazine Volume, and the Gyaru Girl (Spicy Marg), and all were fantastic! For food, we started with the hamachi crudo (10/10) and the spicy tuna tartare (8/10). We also got a salmon avocado roll, which came with this amazing ponzu citrus sauce on the side, and we were obsessed! Probably one of the best rolls I have had. And for entrees, we ordered the wafu carbonara with the wagyu, which was rich and creamy, and the filet mignon covered in this phenomenal garlic sauce. To finish off, we ordered the ube cheesecake for dessert, which I saw had bad reviews, but I personally loved it! And they topped it with a nice happy anniversary chocolate. Overall, we had such a great experience and would definitely come back. Would love to try out their happy hour menu as well.

Celebrated my nieces birthday last night. This was my first time here. As soon as I walk up, a nice gentlemen greeted us and walked us to the stairs to walk downstairs. When I hit downstairs, I was immediately taken aback by the beautiful ambiance. The bar to my right and the dinner room to my left. The hostess greeted us and walked us to meet our table. It was a packed room. Busy Saturday night. My niece did the prefix and we were a party of 14. Can I tell you they never missed a beat. We had 4 people waiting on us. They got us all drinks right away and they kept them coming. I'm not a drinker and they had several mocktails to choose from. I decided on the Nozeco Spritz. This is what we had. All served family style. OMG! Starters: Smashed 'Mitsukoshi' Cucumber Salad Black Truffle Steak Tartare Black Truffle Spicy Tuna Tartare Chef's Selection of Sushi Meal: Ginza Chicken- foot included Wood Oven Roasted Branzino Filet Mignon Roasted Vegetables Green Vegetable Fried Rice Dessert: Chef's Selection of Assorted Sweets Now you know we had to try the Crown Melon, the King of Melons. I pre ordered it for my niece. It's worth every penny and the table presentation and the taste is priceless. Trust me. The entire group were unanimous with the night. A 10/10 hands down. My niece had 3 bags of leftovers, that's how much food they served. I will be back and check out the pics and videos.

I wanted to love this place but it is a little chaotic and not super accommodating for people with mobility problems. You have to walk down a flight of stairs like you are waking into a grand ballroom into first the waiting lounge with a small bar. We had to ask and justify why we wanted the elevator, even though it seemed like plenty of people were indeed using them. We were waiting for some friends to come and it wasn't until 45 mins in that the staff finally asked if we wanted to order any drinks or snacks while we waited for our friends. Once we were finally seated, our waiter was wonderful and super helpful - apparently you have to put in all of the dishes in at once so that took us a while for our big group since we were sharing. The food came out - it was generally beautifully plated and interesting - edamame in chili oil was actually one of the best things on the menu, the creamy noodles were pretty good. Sushi was decent. Drinks were ok but not very memorable. A few waiters came to our table, confused and in disarray, asking if we orders such and such, as they apparently weren't sure what tables their food belonged at - that was pretty awkward especially since it happened several times.

First and foremost they accommodated us for 11pm dinner reservation which I outright appreciate. We ordered their $65 prefix dinner . I was pleasantly surprised at the number of vegetarian options. The food comes in small portions but the number of dishes are a lot so it's perfect portioning .We also ordered avocado roll which was excellent. The lighting is dim , very romantic vibe . The decor is extremely pleasing visually.

This restaurant is located in the lower level of the Moxy NYC Lower East Side hotel. The is a very classy restaurant with beautiful decorative Asian lantern lights. The music is there but not disturbing, just perfect level. The young lady tending bar on the first level is very knowledgeable regarding her menu. Sushi served here is very fresh and tasty. Sushi tacos (lobster and tuna) are recommended by me. The service would have to be rated Top notch for level of service and attentiveness. Any needs are taken care of promptly. Cozy and charming setting. It's a yes for me but if you want quality you got to pay quality not quantity prices. ;)

It's a great elevated vibe for a nicer dining experience All the food was delicious! We got the salmon sushi roll, salmon temaki, and salmon nigiri- a lot of salmon lol. The fish tasted fresh and it was all pretty good. The star of the show was the Wafu Enara though. It's a truffle uni udon with wagyu beef- sooo good!! This was super flavorful and filling. The wagyu was also made really nicely. For dessert, we got the strawberry parfait which was also reallyyyy good!!! It's described as vanilla ice cream with strawberry crunch, which seemed pretty simple and plain. We initially ordered it because it's popular and for its presentation, but we were all so glad we got it. It was so delicious and tasted unique compared to other ice cream. The cream on top was really good and uniquely sweet, and the ice cream was really good with the frozen strawberries on the side, which is where the crunch comes from The ambiance was really nice, and our server was friendly and helpful. The only thing was it was pretty pricey, but it is part of the Tao group so it makes sense ig. That's just how nicer restaurants are so we were somewhat prepared for that.

I've been wanting to come here for a while and I'm glad I finally did. This place definitely lived up to my expectations and was the perfect birthday dinner with my girls. Everything from the gorgeous atmosphere with the spiral staircase, the service, and food were phenomenal. Some stand out dishes were the spicy tuna tartare, A5 wagyu roll, king crab roll, A5 miyazaki tenderloin, and the chocolate layered crepe cake. You truly can't go wrong with your dining experience here, I look forward to coming back!

Even before the food arrives, the restaurant leaves a strong impression with its stunning Japanese-inspired interior. The space is beautifully designed, blending warmth and elegance in a way that feels both inviting and refined. From the soft lighting to the natural wood accents and thoughtfully arranged decor, everything about the atmosphere feels intentional. It captures the intimate charm of a traditional izakaya while still feeling modern and stylish, making it a wonderful setting for anything from a casual dinner to a more special night out. The food more than lived up to the beauty of the space. One of the first highlights was the salmon onigiri, a dish that proved how satisfying simplicity can be when it is done well. The rice was soft, fresh, and perfectly formed, holding together without feeling too compact, while the salmon added a savory richness that made each bite feel comforting and flavorful. It was balanced, delicate, and deeply satisfying in a way that made it memorable despite its simplicity. The seared salmon salad was another standout. The salmon itself was beautifully prepared, with a lightly seared exterior that gave it a subtle crispness, while the inside remained tender, buttery, and smooth. That contrast in texture made the dish especially enjoyable. Paired with the freshness of the salad, it felt light and refreshing, yet still substantial enough to feel like more than just a side dish. It was a dish that managed to feel both clean and indulgent at the same time. The grilled squid was particularly impressive and easily one of the most memorable items of the meal. Squid can often be difficult to get right, as it can become rubbery or overly chewy if even slightly overcooked, but that was absolutely not the case here. The texture was spectacular--tender, delicate, and pleasantly springy without any toughness. Each bite had a light smokiness from the grill that added depth, while the squid itself retained its natural sweetness. It was expertly prepared and showcased a level of precision that really stood out. For the main courses, both the Tonkatsu Ramen and the Black Pepper Ramen delivered distinct experiences, each with its own appeal. The Tonkatsu Ramen was deeply comforting and satisfying, with a broth that had a rich, velvety texture and a full-bodied depth that coated the palate beautifully. It felt smooth, hearty, and luxurious without being too heavy. The noodles had an ideal texture as well--firm enough to provide a satisfying bite, yet soft enough to soak up the broth and integrate perfectly into the dish. Altogether, it was a bowl that felt warming, balanced, and incredibly comforting. The Black Pepper Ramen, on the other hand, brought a bolder and more assertive flavor profile. The broth had a smooth, glossy texture, and the noodles again had a pleasing chew that gave the dish structure and substance. The black pepper added an unmistakable warmth and aromatic intensity that made the ramen stand out immediately. It was flavorful and memorable, though the pepper was slightly overwhelming at times. A bit less black pepper would have allowed the other flavors in the broth to come through more clearly and created a more balanced bowl. Even so, the ramen was still enjoyable, especially for those who appreciate strong, pepper-forward flavors. Overall, Izakaya Fuku is a restaurant that succeeds on every level. The stunning Japanese interior creates an atmosphere that feels both immersive and elegant, while the food reflects a real attention to detail in both flavor and texture. From the comforting salmon onigiri, to the fresh and beautifully prepared seared salmon salad, to the expertly grilled squid with its exceptional texture, and finally the rich and satisfying ramen dishes, every part of the meal felt carefully executed. It is a place that offers not just excellent food, but a complete dining experience, and it is well worth visiting for anyone looking for standout Japanese cuisine in New York.
