I was told I couldn't enter with my water bottle, yet it was factory sealed. I also would have preferred getting checked with a metal detector instead of having a pat down. Overpriced cover charge, free ticket line almost feels like a scam, they don't let people in at all, even if you're there early. The drinks are watered down, and the bartenders are inconsistent with their pricing. One bartender was charging me $15 for a drink, and the other was charging me 21 dollars for the same drink. Whoever is managing this lounge should pay closer attention to how things are run in this establishment. 18-year-olds are paying adults 21+ for drinks and getting aggressive once you say no. So I had one of the funniest experiences ever tonight. Somehow everyone there thought I was the owner of the place. I don't even know how it started, but once people started looking at me like I ran the whole operation... I just went with it. Next thing you know, people are offering me free drinks, shaking my hand, talking business, thanking me for the vibe of the spot like I personally built the building. I kept a straight face the whole time, playing the role like a professional. Honestly, I almost started believing it myself. Then out of nowhere, this guy walks up with charcoal all over his eyes like some undercover detective and announces to everyone that I'm not the owner. Just completely blew my cover. The investigation ended immediately. I still tried to play it cool as long as I could, but eventually security came over and escorted me out like it was a federal operation. I'm standing there thinking... all this because I accepted a few drinks and nodded confidently. The funniest part is I was actually invited by a friend and was thinking about maybe DJing some drum & bass there in the future. After that whole incident though... yeah, I think I'm good. The security staff were sooo incredibly amazing! I couldn't climb the stairs because Im recovering from leg surgery and they helped me get up and down the stairs. They were very gentle and even though it was my first time going up stairs since having surgery I knew I'd be okay because they were holding me up and encouraging me the entire time AND they carried my wheelchair up the stairs too. Came here for Das Bunker and it was a lot of fun! They have several themed rooms that give off a different vibe so you're never bored. Make sure to stick with your group though, you can easily get lost if you're not used to the place. They have multiple bar areas throughout the whole place. Drinks are pricey but strong. They also have an area where you can order food! I got an order of mozzarella sticks and it was served hot and tasty. Portions are generous too. Great experience overall! read more

First time at Catch One. Hella trendy spot with several clubs/events taking place at the same time. Line around the corner for one club. Luckily, we were at Catch One for Remix Rumble The Wrestling Nightclub and there was a very short line. Look for street parking down the road. Walking a couple blocks is worth not spending $40 to park in the neighboring parking lot. Small club. Friendly bartenders. Sticky floors. There was only one unisex bathroom available for a portion of the evening. Could have been quite the problem but the line moved pretty well. The very few women in the club were happy when the bathrooms in the back of the club opened up. I've heard the event spaces are used for a variety of clubs, events, pop ups etc. Would love to see how the spaces are transformed for other occasions. read more

Our friends band were touring in town and had a concert here. Never heard if this venue before. It's LA so I will start with the parking. What a nightmare! The worst I have ever experienced! We regret not taking a shared ride. If you come here, take my advice! You're welcomed! There's no street parking! I am ok parking far and walking. We couldn't find any! The streets are residential with lots of apartment buildings, so you get the pictures. Hilly streets, restrictions, we hunted for a spot to no avail. Not the only ones. There are lots for $45. A rip off. Folks who take advantage and get you to park in commercial centers lots in the area. Terrible! I do have to say that the area is unsafe and poorly lit. Line to get inside. We were comped. But I wouldn't pay for this venues. It costs more here to see a show than in historic theaters in DTLA. There are more spaces. We were in the big one. It is OK sound wise. Lighting is overdone. No decor. Dingy, crummy atmosphere. Our friends band started too late, at 11. Bathroom situation is dire. Not Enough for the crowd. Didn't use the bar. Not impressed. Worsed music venue in town! Make sure you verify your ticket thoroughly to the bouncer. Venue doormen/bouncers will redirect to the incorrect venue on purpose.

Greatest place everrr. I love how they have different selections of music. It's like a real life radio, if you don't like the music, you can just turn the channel and go to another room. And to whoever their sound engineer is, props! They're doing a spectacular job. Can't even hear the untz untz from the screamo room. 10/10! read more

Honestly my favorite venue out of the millions I've been to. There were many different rooms and all of them had cool interior and lights. In the bar area, there were TVs that projected the stage, so you weren't missing out. All the staff were great, the bartender was very generous with the shots and drinks (the shots were strong), and honestly a 5/5. read more

It was my first time being here with some of my friends and it was chill on a Friday night. I went to go support my home who was djing for this event called BIPOLAR. Parking is pretty attrocious here but there is a parking around the corner that was $30 unfortunately but that's a whole another story. Venue itself was pretty empty. I didn't mind it though because I don't like being stuck fighting through crowds and super sweaty. AC was working very nicely. All of the service was very smooth and everyone was kind as I went to just support the homies. I didn't purchase any food but drinks were fine. We just had some shots and high noons. The event was overpriced trash! The drinks are watered down and actually make me and my date sick. What really upset me was I paid $45 for parking and my car was broken into and vandalized. I will never return to this place. I asked for my money back after I paid for the night and the owner refused. I recommend not going to this spot. Showed up one hour before the event started, was standing outside and the corrupt security guard who was having people Apple Cash him for a sold out show noticed I was drinking an energy drink (alani nu) and stormed up to me and snatched it out of my hands. Didn't ask me a single question just said "I NEED TO TAKE THAT" and snatched it from me. I proceeded to see him turn away some people due to the show being sold out, then allow others to Apple Cash him personally to obtain access..... when the event started (Klub Nocturno) the 2 rooms upstairs were not open or even set up and the workers were clearly upset at the guests for trying to see all 5 of the rooms. They screamed at us to get out u til they finished setting up, which then caused a sold out show to squeeze into only the downstairs area for about 45 minutes until the rude and annoyed workers allowed us upstairs...... Disappointed is an understatement, and all the workers have a bad attitude and clearly don't want to be there. read more

I have read through a number of the 1-star reviews, and I feel those reviews speak more to the various promoters that use / rent out the venue, than the venue itself. I typically wind up at Catch One for the various Das Bunker events throughout the year (and have previously written a review for Das Bunker.) For the Bunker events: five stars, no notes. Have gone here countless times as I love the organizations that hold events here. The venue scams sm though... They charge you $9 for water and kick you out if you try to ask for tap water (isn't that illegal??), AND don't allow any empty waterbottles inside. Parking is $45 and street parking is nonexistent (check the other reviews). Have had some of my jewelry and stuff confiscated with no explanation and threatened to kick me and my friends out over it. Was not wearing spikes or chains, and just wanted to know why my things were being taken away?? This takes away from your night everytime. So unfortunate. read more

Came here to see a rapper, worst venue I've ever been to. - I walked here, but it costs $40 through Zelle, Venmo. Horrible parking situation and all the staff were rude when I asked and rude to the cars I heard. They will lie and nickel and dime you for drinks and everything. - I went for a show, and they had 2 single stall bathrooms for like 400 people, huge lines to use the bathroom. - I had a water bottle in line and the security guard Paula Blartt almost threw me out, I told her it was water can I finish it she snatched it out of my hand. I told her, you can smell it's water, then she kicked me out of line saying "want a short night??? goodbye, get out of line!!" I stayed in line until her manager came and let me off with a warning. I've been sober for 2 years. - At the show, mild jumping not even moshing and a bunch of "security" in the form of a gaggle of dudes shorter than me, kept holding everyone down physically. Like I felt someone shove me over and it was security trying to stop people from jumping by grabbing their shoulders or tackling them. Seems like security was bullied in highschool and need to take someone out for revenge. - Not sure if this was the venue's fault but still a 1-star regardless, but I bought merch for $25 and I checked my credit card I was charged $45. Terrible security operations. Waited in line for 2+ hours to get into the concert venue that was not even crowded upon entering. They charged an extra $10/person fee while waiting in line just to wait an extra 20 minutes in line to get in. The $10 charge was apparently due to not being inside the venue prior to 10:30 as shown on our tickets (early-bird), even tho we had been waiting in line before then; it almost seemed intentional for them to hold everyone in line outside as to charge an extra fee. Super scammy, unkept, and unorganized. read more

They advertised free tickets before a certain time then a fee past that and then they said once in line people wouldn't be able to enter if near the back. The lines were confusing and no one knew where to go for their specific night (apparently there were 5 different themed nights happening at once). I came to see Honey Dijon recently at Catch One. I'd been here before for a couple other shows but this time I decided to write a review. The bartenders were super friendly and conscious of who was next. Unfortunately by the end of the night I lost my wallet. The next day I called and left a message. About a week and a half later I got a call and the lady on the phone said they had FOUND MY WALLET! so cool! So I tried to go on the 2nd after verifying someone would be there but when I arrived no one was there. The next day I called and asked if they could mail it to me since I tried to go and no one was there after I was told someone would be there for me to pick up the wallet. They told me normally they don't mail items out like that but they would ask. Later on I got a call from Alice. She was so professional, polite and took care of my concern. She told me they would be able to mail me the wallet. She also gave me a USPS tracking number. I was so impressed by their service. Not only is this a bomb nightclub but their office staff reflects genuinely good people. I can't wait to come back for an event. read more

Small little, local venue with multiple floors for all your live music needs! My first time here and I was actually impress with the layout, bathrooms, and the bars. The bathrooms are huge which is what I appreciate for a music venue. The security and ticket person in the front were quick and polite. They weren't rushing us or asking us obscured questions. I recommend checking out their calendars of events! We were on the upper floor and felt the surround system from downstairs rumble our feet. So you know that had to be bomb! I want to make my review higher but considering the situation with water last night, I have to do this. Upon arrival to the "Science Fantasy Rave" event, I went to the bar to request a cup of water. I was informed that this bar was the only one that did not serve drinkable water, and my only options were a cup of ice, or six dollars for a water. This is an active violation of law, that requires bar venues to provide water to their patrons free of charge. This ruined my experience and plenty of others as well, especially when we were informed every other bar in the venue provided cups of water to their guests. Went for the Queremos Reggaeton and took us over an hour to get in. Got scammed into paying $30 for VIP Skip the Line after already asking before if we were able to without a GA ticket and getting told no. Finally got in and it was musty and DJ was okay. Never again. read more

My girlfriend and I were going to celebrate her birthday here for their Sid's Room Emo Nite event, which was advertised as a 21+ event lasting from 10pm-2am. We arrived at the venue at 11:55pm and after paying parking fees at an adjacent lot, we were turned away at the club's entrance, with staff saying "The party is over" and that "It was an 18+ event." I wish there was better communication to explain what happened and why the event being hosted wasn't as advertised... It was a wasted drive to LA and a waste of money on tickets we couldn't even use. At least the people that were able to go in seemed like they were having a good time jamming to 2000s pop punk and emo hits a la CatchOne's Instagram feed, but I guess we weren't so lucky. read more

All night for multiple events here all the bartenders and security were rude and dismissive. The only helpful security person with any sort of integrity and curtesy was Johnny A. He was extremely attentive and helpful and overall respectful of my concerns and need of earplugs. I truly appreciated his help and kindness. Seems they are privy to hiring rude people that could care less of their clientele. But because of Johnny A... and the overall fun I had during this event is why I gave such a high rating. If it weren't for him then it would've been a 3 star or less. Not to mention there is a high chance of pick pocketing here. Be safe people. read more

If i could rate this a 0 I would. Catch One does not care about womens safety. My group of friends went to the party rocking event only for our night to become a nightmare. One of our friends got sexually harassed. Some guy gripped onto her and would not let go, it took a group of us to pry him off. We told security shortly after, they laughed in our face saying there was nothing they could do. Their security is a joke and does nothing to protect women or any club participants. Had there not been a group of us she would have been taken away, and catch one would not do aything about it. Do not attend catch one events, they do not prioritize your safety. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE DISABLED AND REQUIRE A SERVICE ANIMAL, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE I saw someone get kicked out by the condescending, egotistical, manager for having a service dog. He refused to listen to the person for not having certifications at a crowded event, claiming he "knew the law", forcing her to leave. A simple google search under the Americans With Disabilities Act would highlight this in plain English, yet the manager is too incompetent's to read basic english!!
