It looks like a fun place to hang out, dance, and listen to live bands if that's your thing. There is a tiny stage area that was sectioned off, and I imagine the place easily gets packed. The wood interiors have seen better days, and the seating is somewhat sparse to make room for a larger dance area. It looks like the type of place that gets stuffy quickly as there aren't any windows from what I recall. They have a patio, but we didn't make it out there. There were a couple of TVs with the World Cup on at the time, but I'm not sure if they keep sports on the screens all the time. Be ready to have your ID checked at the door.

Restroom lines aren't too long and they're decently cleaned. I like the option you have to go outside for fresh air. They have different music out there so you can dance as well or sit down. they also have food available for purchase in the patio. There is a food truck at the entrance. Don't forget to bring cash for the cover! Pretty spacious overall, but the inside bar area can get a bit crowded since it's a walkway as well.

If you have SUPPOSED FOOTAGE of me receiving this birthday surprise then please post it!!! I WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO SEE IT LIE#2. Got seated on the top floor with these huge disco balls blocking our view 50% of the time. We had to leave our table and for a full view go downstairs for the show. I'll leave that there. Women dressed in formal wear. Yes I wore my heels and brushed off some dust ;) We got there thinking there was going to have at least an appetizer menu. We had to order $60 per person so we thought with appetizers it could happen easy. Well when we saw the menu: charcuterie board, pita chips with hummus, pizza. Ok we ordered the board and pita. What we got was white $.99 paper plates with down cheese, nuts, apricots. Ridiculous $22 for a paper plate. The pita chips came with no hummus in a paper boat they were all crumbs. I can't believe we paid so much money to dress up, get a $260 table for paper plates with no utensils, no hummus. Ordering 2 sets of these because we didn't want to get sick from drinking on an empty stomach. I believe we ordered 4 drinks each by the nights end (cups were small too) our bill came out to $413! We asked for a receipt to which the waitress stated she couldn't get us. So the night came out to close to $650! And we were served on paper plates, no meal. It's a rip off. The show was nice but we had to be walking around to actually see it. Never doing this again!

We came early before 8pm during Happy Hour when non-members can enter with a person with a membership which allows 3 additional guests, and all guests are free to enter without a membership until 8pm. [$30 initial membership fee for a year and $20 annual renewal.] Caña (kahn yah) means cane in Spanish referring to sugar cane from which rum is made. Our bartender was helpful and personable welcoming us and taking our orders. Under advice from Caña member Elite Yelper, Isobel L., who graciously took us under her wing, we ordered a shot of Nicaraguan Flor de Caña Rum aged 12 years that came with a cigarillo. We adjourned from the bar to the patio to smoke our mini-stogies and sipped our rum. We came early when there were very few members so it was the perfect place to talk and mellow out. Those who want a more animated crowd probably should come much later when lively dance music begins, and booties start to swing. Caña Rum Bar: 4 stars

I enjoyed the music, some weren't my favorite but a good time nonetheless. Got an AMF drink for $22. Owner made sure that one of our friends chain wasn't snatched and that it dropped when we lost the pendant and even offered his personal cell to contact him. Very accessible via public transportation, I used the 45 bus to get to the venue. My biggest complaint is that you are forced to buy tap water since they do not have any running tap water, yikes. They may throw your water bottles out if you try to bring them in, security is pretty strict with it. Sometimes the bands and venue tech will throw bottles of water to the crowd-- you have to be lucky enough to catch them. Venue food is almost always going to be overpriced, so I recommend eating beforehand.

We went to the Belasco for a Comedy show, Updating hosted by Netflix is a Joke! It was easy getting inside of the venue and easy to navigate. The restrooms, bar and seating were self explanatory. It was a funny and entertaining show, only thing was the seating arrangement was really tight and bulked together. I felt super squished and uncomfortable because the guy right next to me crossed his legs. It was partially that dudes fault but also was just so crammed with the seats they added on the floor. It was nice having employees help guests to their seats though. Worse thing was the A/C they had! Oh my gosh it was like someone took a wind blower and put it on our backs with cold air. Yea totally understand a place like the Belasco needs to be cooled with that many guests and lights but ayoo it was a crazy cold breeze where people near us actually had to go three times to tell them to turn it off. Belasco please fix your AC system or timing! Totally ruined our night along with others.

Kiss Kiss is a ""speakeasy"" style club in K-town (parking theoretically available on side streets + metered though you're better off using rideshare) that neighbors another ""speakeasy"" style club around the corner. What's changed about Kiss Kiss? Drink prices for one! They've multiplied by 1.5x at least (!) and now they seemingly do not limit capacity at the club because we felt like we were in a can of sardines in there. The bartenders are still nice and polite at least. The music is also not at all any good anymore. We came on Halloween night because (1) we are familiar w/ Kiss Kiss and (2) we figured K-town was less chaotic than WeHo. This is where we learned they had tickets for sale at the door to get in (please brace yourselves,,,, it was an astounding $45......). We sucked it up and paid (our mistake we would soon learn). The night itself was advertised as a 70's disco Halloween event. At NO POINT in the entire night was 70s music played as every. single. song. was synth/house music. At the most maybe 4 songs were synth/house/EDM remixes of 70s music. Not to mention!!! They only played 1 Halloween song all night! The only positive from the night was the decor was nice. Security guards at the bathroom side make you leave your drink "under their watch" while you use the restroom. I stayed behind and switched with my friend to keep a constant eye on our drinks because the man on duty was doing everything BUT watching people's drinks!! In a town where women are known to be roofied frankly quite often is insane to me. TLDR; Cover fee is $$, drinks are $$, place is so packed you're bumping into people ever 5 seconds, security is useless, do not come here.
