We came here to see Dear Delta which was an AMAZING band!!! The bar service was very friendly and kind. Parking attendant was helpful in where to walk for dinner. It was a sold out show and people turned away at the door, I was happy we got there early! We did not try any food there. Would for sure come back to see Dear Delta!

I'm living a rock star dream because Courtney G was performing in the Acoustic Lounge (downstairs). Main entrance is on Sunset and a side entrance for the Acoustic Lounge is on Larrabee. There's a parking lot next to the Viper Room to park for $20-30 depending on what time you arrive. There are two floors - the main act is upstairs, while the downstairs area is small and intimate for an acoustic (1-3 person) act. The downstairs area has a full bar. Surprisingly, the downstairs area is well insulated for acoustic acts. Restrooms are upstairs and unisex. There is also a full bar upstairs with seating. Merch can be purchased at the bar.

I went to The Viper Room last night for the first time ever. I went with a friend to attend The Emo Night Tour event. The vibe of the crowd was good. I liked that people were allowed to go on the stage and dance. There was a good sense of community amongst the crowd. The event was fun and enjoyable. The Viper Room is a small venue. It's definitely historic. I love that it's located on the Sunset Strip. I love it's past connection to popular rock artists, socialites, and Hollywood actors (RIP River Phoenix). My gripe with The Viper Room is for the door attendant working the entrance off Larabee St. on my visit. The door attendant had a bad attitude. She talked to me and other guests in a rude tone. She even warned some guests as they entered the venue's hallway before me not to talk sh** about her because she can hear them. The attitude I saw and received myself left me disappointed. Luckily, she was the only staff member who seemed to be an issue.

I have no clue how this place has 3 stars it is the absolute epitome of "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll" It's a straight time capsule to the late 90s and early 2000s. It is a damn shame the place is going to be demolished and should be classified as a historical landmark https://laist.com/news/the-viper-room-will-be-torn-down-and-remodeled-as-part-of-a-12-story-high-rise

This place is rocking! Love me some Viper Room on a Friday night! The drinks are strong and the bands are good! This is a fun place to hang out and listen to live music! Love it! Happy Yelping!

Such a dope and iconic location! We had so much fun checking out this infamous bar in West Hollywood! The band "Jeremy Sullivan" who performed the night we were here were absolutely incredible also! Such a nice surprise seeing them perform live! Great/strong drinks too and everyone who worked here seemed really nice and on it. So glad we got to check this place out! It was awesome! Highly recommend for a night cap and some good music!

Great music venue; especially in the smaller downstairs area that has a small bar and good acoustics.

I see conflicting info on parking. Is the lot "behind" Viper the one they run or is there some other lot we should use instead? Whether it is $20 or $30 is not the issue for me, it is keeping my car safe in the official lot!

There is a small parking lot but it is ran by All City Parking Management. There is a QR code you could scan and pay on your phone. This has less than 30 spaces so your best bet is to look for a meter parking on the street or a different parking lot.

    Do they serve food here?

They do not. At least the night we were there it was only bar service (drinks). Really neat place though.

I am not permitted to wear a mask for medical reasons, as it is an ambulance ride situation for me if I wear one. If I have my vax card with me for the show on 3/12/22, will I still be able to enter with my ticket?

I'm almost sure you won't id call and confirm as they said that night it wa 4hourz until the mandates lifted

    Is this venue 18+?

    No, it's 21+

Is it possible to come here just for drinks with friends and avoid the live bands so that we can chat and get drunk?

You'd have to get there early, but this isn't really an intimate place to chat with friends. It's primarily a music venue, and a loud one.

Does anyone know what they're history of orders are like? Been waiting for my beanie since July and still nothing from them, they aren't replying to me. What should I do?

It's been 13 days for me and I haven't gotten any response ?

Comes with the added modern convenience of paying online as needed. We arrived about 10 minutes before the 8:30pm start time, so the line had steadily been moving in. Dimly lit space, crowded floors, restrooms on the left, merchandise for sale on the right, and a bar serving drinks at the back. A few nights ago, Joanna Wang held a concert here, the fourth stop of her North American tour. The show started right on the dot with no opening acts which was much appreciated. The first set ran through her latest album, "Hotel la Rut" which combined productions of strange, disturbing, moody unpredicability with moments of seemingly whimsical levity and repressed emotions. One after the other, it felt like listening to tracks of a musical. As is often stated comparing to the studio recordings, the live performances added charm and context to the machinations of her mind's inner workings. It helped that the sound quality here was remarkably vibrant, with the band going between genres seamlessly. Personally enjoyed "Pigeons on Your Balcony", "People Don't Eat Dinner by Themselves", and "Ragged Stairs to Heaven". Promptly afterwards, the second set contained a selection of past songs from her almost two decade long career, ranging from creative compositions to inventive covers. It was a full-on display of her vocal range and inspirations through the years. Some memorable ones included "Alice in Wonderland", "親密愛人", "Radio Killed the Radio Star", and "Simply Nothing You Can Do", with "Vincent" as her encore performance. It was a good time, as I found myself smiling at her showmanship going from soulful nostalgia to nutty, irrepressible energy. Here's hoping she performs around here more often.

The show was scheduled to start at 8:30pm but didn't kick off until around 9, which honestly didn't matter once it got going. The commentator was hysterical, completely unhinged in the best way and added so much to the experience. The matches were nonstop entertaining, and the backstories were wild. One story about the troupe hearing about a midget living in a homeless shelter and going to pick him up to join the crew really stood out. It felt chaotic, heartfelt, and oddly wholesome all at once. The merch was just as funny as the show. We grabbed a signed poster from 25 Cent, which felt like a must. We were especially happy to finally catch them. We barely missed their Vegas show last year....our plane landed, we dumped our bags at the hotel, sprinted to the strip club, and arrived literally as the last bout ended. They had so many rules. One being no gum. I was like seriously so not cool as I had a bunch of packs in my purse. Just had hubby take my purse back to car as I didn't want to throw away anything. Plus the dude working wasn't friendly at all. On to the inside of the venue. Concert was supposed to start at 9pm. They did have a DJ but he really didn't hype us up before the main event. Didn't like the setup not inviting at all. Small dance floor & it got way too cramped. Unfortunately the show didn't end up starting until 9:35 & was done around 11.20.
