Probably the best coffee I've had in a while! Got the Luna Latter with no nutmeg and would definitely recommend!

When Paula and I headed into town for a five-day visit to Clear Lake, the first thing I saw was this lovely mural. A bit unsettled, my statement at the police station about a druggie who had been harassing me at four in the morning, and I unfortunately unleashed a problem . This morning (i love to dance), I needed some distraction, so it was time to go to Catfish Coffee. The interior is just as quirky as the outside, and the employees were lovely. They let me dance around and be a general goofball. I got the salted caramel latte and Paula, got an iced Vietnamese coffee I left the employees with a wonderful musical tip: Dwight Yoakam's cover of Princesses' "Purple Rain." I shall return with my dancing shoes on. You're lovely.

My husband and I stopped by on a weekday mid-morning to give Catfish Coffee House a try! We were excited to try a local shop and were pleased with the overall experience. The parking lot is easily accessible and there is plenty of parking (though they also have a drive-thru window) and the building was easily accessed. There was a short line and the service was attentive, though a tad slow. The staff were friendly and accommodated our questions and custom order for breakfast and drinks. We enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches and drinks, along with the chill coffee shop vibe. There was local art work on the wall for sale, along with local message boards and items for purchase. We look forward to going back time and again!

I gotta give this place a low review for several reasons...a really bad stomachache and super long wait times. The breakfast sandwiches here seem like a Jimmy Dean's. Service here was also ridiculously slow. It took 30 minutes to get the order and there were hardly any customers.

Plenty of parking. The door on the side is the entrance, it may not seem like it but it is. It's also a drive thru coffee shop. I need to come back for coffee next time. For being a deli coffee shop in Clearlake which is a small town, this place is surely a gem. It is an old place but the employees make it up for you. I ordered the Turkey sandwich with a side salad and my partner ordered the Turkey pesto sandwich. We both loved our sandwiches. My sandwich was perfectly toasted. It has green ancho chiles with a southwestern sauce. Yummmmm the salad looks like your normal salad but it was upped with arugula. I'm not a fan of arugula but it was so yummy with the sandwich. My partner ordered a mangoneada, a mango smoothie with chamoy and tajin and he said it was perfect!!! I asked the cashier if he could fill up my water bottle and he didn't even think about it twice. Little things go long ways. I appreciate those small things. I'll definitely be back.

Came here for some caffeine and breakfast and they have so many options! I got an iced hazelnut latte (usually I sub with oat milk but they didn't have oat, there were other milk alternatives however), mini breakfast panini, and pesto croissant. All were quite good! They also have lots of books so it's not a bad spot to chill and read over a coffee for a bit. Baristas were really nice when I asked about activities in the area.

Other than the private parking lot, is there an area to park a large vehicle such as a trailer? We want to stop in on our way to camp at Fort Bragg.

Oh yes I think there's enough for you to squeeze it in there you might be close to the back of it but but I think you could fit it in there you should have a problem

Mind you that I have never in my entire life ever left a restaurant without paying. I'm no teenager so definitely can pay what I owe. And in fact, in the last few visits, have generously tipped the old mill staff at minimum 20-25%. When I chose to give them $100 to cover the bill they accused me of not paying the last time...they at first refused then proceeded to tell me the truth...that the machine they were using the night I was accused of not paying was not working and they had encountered multiple problems with different patrons that night...and many other payments had not gone through. In fact, they said after that they were forced to replace the entire system. So I ask, if you knew it was your system...why would you then accuse a patron of purposely not paying the bill. I stayed to eat. I even tipped extra. But after I left, I realized the situation put a distaste in my mouth. Hopefully the server and mgmt learn not to blame a Patti for their bad machine/system. That was in poor taste. That approach made the food tasted mediocre after that. Next time I'll think twice before I choose to come again.

ZERO STARS!!!My first time visiting this coffee shop was 4 years ago. And it was great. We went…read moreback today and had our best friends with us, excited to show them a really neat and eclectic coffee shop. That is NOT what we found. When we walked up the once cute landscaping on their patio area was unkempt and cluttered with old motorcycle parts. Walking in I immediately noticed the lack of cleanliness. There is just clutter everywhere. And it was covered in dust and grime. There are three tables in the place. Two of which were being taken up by people that weren't actually eating or drinking anything. The other table had a dusty Christmas tree sitting on it with no space to be used as a dining table. One of the workers was I guess just kind of hanging out with those people and the other worker was standing at the register. What I'm getting at is, neither worker was actively making anything for anyone that was currently taking up dining space for actual patrons. The space was so cluttered with stuff you would have thought it might be someone's storage space instead of a restaurant. The whole atmosphere of the place was just gross. I needed to use the bathroom as we were on an 8 hour road trip home. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. There was no soap in the bathroom and the sink and toilet looked like they had never been cleaned. I live by a rule I learned from watching Gordon Ramsey. If the bathroom of a dining establishment isn't kept clean the kitchen won't be either. This rule has served me pretty well I think. And this place was screaming food poisoning central. The two that worked there seemed nice enough but the pride they have for the place is completely absent. The menu they have in place looks good, but the cleanliness of the place completely ruined it for us. We decided not to eat. We still needed a stretch of the legs before getting back on the road so we were going to enjoy some fresh air outside on the patio. We couldn't even do that because it smelled like pee. And there was bird poop all over the tables. I really love to see quirky and eclectic places succeed, but this place has lost its pizzazz and needs to be closed down. How the health department hasn't done this yet is beyond me.
