I was searching for the right surgeon to begin my plastic surgery journey, BBL, rhinoplasty and a few smaller things like liposuction under my chin. After doing my research for over a year I had narrowed my search down to 5 surgeons. After meeting with them and having them preform small procedures like Botox and lip filler I quickly narrowed the five down to two, Dr cat being one of the two. I've been following her on Snapchat for years and loved her attention to detail. But I still won't trust my life in someone's hands before I see how they preform a small procedure first. If they can't do your lip filler with precision then don't trust them with your life is my theory. Anyway I flew down to LA to meet with Dr cat, I was excited to go over my plastic surgery plan with her and get some lip filler and Botox to assess her skills first hand. Paying a $350 consultation fee was no problem considering I was expecting to pay over $1,000 for my filler and botox and the consultation fee was supposed to go towards that. Or so I was told! After meeting with her she informs me her assistant had left for the day so she would not be able to do any injections on me that day. I was disappointed sense I had flown all the way to see her. She knew I had come from far away and was only in town for the day to meet her. But she was still one of my top two picks so I chalked it up to bad luck and flew home. I assumed I could make a trip later when she would have an assistant available. But when I called to make my appointment to go back and get my fillers/Botox and use my $350 towards it I was informed that their policy had changed and the consultation fee could now only be used for surgery! You have got to be kidding me! Oh and the consultation fee has gone up to $500! So unless your comfortable blindly putting your life and looks in someone else's hands or just losing money I don't suggest you see Dr cat. My update after dr cat replied: All the other surgeons I met with were more then happy to let me use my consultation fee towards botox or fillers, they understand that people want first hand experience with the surgeon before trusting going under the knife. Also if you are not satisfied with their work then you do not lose money when you decide to not book surgery with them, and the surgeon doesn't lose time or money by meeting with you because your botox and fillers are still going to cost way above what your consultation fee is. It's a win win situation. Or best case you love their work after seeing it first hand and you book your surgery which is the ideal outcome obviously. The way cat has it set up is not a win win situation. You either blindly book a surgery with her without any hands on experience first or you feel uncomfortable doing so (like I did) and you lose your consultation fee because she refuses to let you put it towards anything other then surgery. Either way she wins I guess. But that's not good customer service. That's not a very good way to build trust with potential patients. read more

It has been a wonderful experience with Dr. Cat. I am so happy I had the labiaplasty procedure; it has been a life changing experience for me. My reasons for pursuing this procedure were for comfort/pain. The things that caused me discomfort were: doing squats, going from sitting to standing, sometimes intercourse, and when using the bathroom (wiping). Many individuals don't know what labiaplasty is, I found that I had to explain it to my close friends after my surgery; even ones that are in the medical field. On Dr. Cats Instagram, she explains the procedure in her posts and answers questions on her story. Ironically, a couple weeks before my procedure she had a question/answer session on IG which answered many of my questions about the procedure. I also got the chance to ask other questions I had during my consultation. I would say that you should go for it if you are on the fence. It took me a while to decide to have surgery because I wanted to go to the best plastic surgeon. I was contemplating and researching for a couple years. Dr Cat is by far the best plastic surgeon I have ever met. From beginning to end, the patient care and patient relationship is excellent. I found her on Instagram and saw her surgeries in her stories. She really impressed me with the meticulous technique. So I decided to call and make an appointment, but the wait was 3-4 month and a $500 dollar consultation fee. So at first I was a little discouraged. So I thought I could find a better deal and decided to make an appt with Dr. Dubrow. Turns out I didn't like him at all. I went to a couple other doctors and I was just not convinced. I told my self: there is no bargaining when it comes to my body. So I decided to call back again and make an appointment even if I had to wait 6 months to see her. To my surprise they were able to see me in one week! I booked my appointment with the super friendly receptionist. When I met Dr. Cat, I was blown away by how professional and meticulous she is with her work. I needed to have a tummy tuck revision and some doctors just turned me away and others told me I needed a full tummy tuck. Well, I'm lean and don't have enough skin to stretch. I was risking getting botch out there. I cannot speak highly enough regarding Dr. Cat Begovic's stellar personality, intelligence, kindness, and surgical skills. I am currently 3 month post-op from a full abdominalplasty (tummy tuck) with a mons pubis lift done in February 2017. I previously had liposuction of the flanks, upper back and mons pubis with a fat transfer to the buttocks for a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) in May 2016. I had my consultation with Dr. Cat about 2 months prior to my initial BBL and lipo surgery. She was attentive to what I was saying and my areas of concern. I was unsure about what I really wanted for my surgery, but found Dr. Cat a valuable asset in my decision making. I initially wanted to just have a tummy tuck, but was interested in what exactly the BBL procedure entailed. After thoughtful discussion and consideration, Dr. Cat and I devised a plan to first get the BBL done first and have a second surgery to do a TT with a mons pubis lift. I previously had liposuction approximately 10 years prior to my surgery with Dr. Cat and I can tell you that I cannot remember my doctor's name who performed my surgery and can only remember one follow-up. With Dr. Cat, she takes pride in her art, which is my body, and made sure that I had follow-ups the next day, next week, and subsequent weeks to ensure proper healing and to answer any questions I may have regarding recovery. Dr. Cat and her staff were very prompt in returning calls/emails and are always so pleasant when discussing anything. Regarding my recovery, the BBL surgery itself was not painful post-surgery. The only issue I had was that I have large breasts and a lower back problem. Laying on my belly was the only cause of lower back pain, but my surgery and recovery itself was great! With my tummy tuck, I opted to stay at Serenity Surgical Center and am thankful that Dr. Cat strongly recommended this for post-op care. I could not imagine my friends caring for me with such a major surgery for the first 24 hours. I honestly was up and walking within hours of arriving to Serenity and making rounds walking the halls. The staff were astonished at how active I was and how minimal pain I had after just having a tummy tuck. I did not need my narcotic medication (Norco 5mg/325mg) after 2 days. The rest of my recovery was great with expected discomforts, but everyone around me were impressed with how fast I recovered. I can only thank Dr. Cat for how easy my recovery was for me. Dr. Cat was a good doctor. There is a few things I wished she would have done but regardless it's too late and I think she's got a reasons why she did that so I'm happy with my results. I'm thankful I've found her as my surgeon but I find it fishy and just suspicious as I don't believed her hernia partner (Dr.Misra) performed the hernia procedure for me because when I went on my pre-op visited with my provider he said he didn't feel a hernia on me and my preoperative visited with Dr.Misra she also said she didn't feel it and then she checked again and said there is but a very very tiny one and I had to paid out of pocket 2K for it. What made me so heavy hearted was before they give me anesthesia I didn't see Dr.Misra at the surgery center. When I went in for my 1 day post op, she wasn't there either, 1 week, 2 week post op...didn't see her nor did Dr. Cat mentioned about the hernia at all. I worked in the Healthcare field and I know and see that this is fishy! I am happy with my results and Dr.Cat's works but I felt that they as a doctor should be honest and fair and don't charge people if they're not going to do the work! It's ridiculous how Dr.Cat sent me a bill one and a half months later telling me I own that much hundred dollars to summit surgery because she was 1-2 hours over. If I really did own it why did summit surgery center send it to me directly or she at least send it 1-2 weeks after my surgery! Lastly, the after care center was not worth $1700 for 1 night and they didn't do anything for you. I got there at 8pm and slept till 7am and paid $1700.00 and all they did was just checking my BP. So her time is worth what she makes it worth - not what YOU think it's worth. That is how it goes. i had a lipo with her about 6 years ago, i showed up to my scheduled surgery and they were taking so long until one of the assistants tells me we had to re schedule the surgery which i totally disagreed on (dr was pregnant at that time) to make this long story short, she performed a horrible job, she was clearly mad i didn't want to reschedule it. she had to apply local anesthesia many times since i felt a lot of pain and every time i would tell her i was feeling the cannula on my skin she would give me the worst look ever. it was truly a horrible experience and i regret it so much! 5 years have passed and the 4 holes she left on my body are still here!!! never healed! i dont understand how she gets so many stars when she doesn't deserve it. read more

My husband, a nurse, researched to find the best doctor to do my procedure and I believe he found the best in Dr. Begovic. She and her staff are warm, friendly, professional, and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. They took a lot of time to explain everything and answer my questions. After losing over 110 pounds through diet and exercise, I found myself with a significant amount of excess skin on my abdomen. Research led me to find Dr. Cat and I'm so beyond thankful that I did. Dr. Cat's meticulous approach to my abdominoplasty literally has changed my life. I travelled from NYC to Los Angeles for this procedure and I do not regret that decision at all. I've been able to transform from feeling ashamed of my belly and loose skin to feeling proud of the accomplishment I have achieved with the weight loss. Dr. Cat and her team were incredibly helpful in all the pre-operative meetings and consultations (which were done over video conference since it was still during COVID). They sent me tons of information, and helped me prepare for this procedure. I watched all of her videos on instagram, etc in advance and all the results looked amazing and she always said "little to no pain" in recovery. I couldn't imagine how that was the case, but I have to tell you - she does such an incredible job and I literally had very very little pain. I didn't have to take anything by Tylenol. It's been 4 months since my abdominoplasty, and I've been able to wear a tiny bikini with pride all Summer. The incision line is healing beautifully and is very thin and I can hide it very easily under my bikini. Dr. Cat is Indescribable - Tummy Tuck! Amazing I will start by saying this...there are many words in the dictionary that I could use to describe Dr. Cat but for me one word truly describes her and that is indescribable! I had been contemplating a tummy tuck for over 10 years but, my personal fear of having surgery especially one that was not medically necessary kept me from having a procedure that I had wanted for a very long time. I finally decided that I would do research and find a plastic surgeon that would make me feel confident enough to move forward and have surgery. I took my time and researched for about a year and picked three surgeons to have a consultation with, of the three I prioritized them and I placed Dr. Cat last knowing I had placed the very best for last. I knew this because I had followed her on Instagram for that year watching her perform tummy tuck surgeries over and over. Every time I watched her I felt more and more confident with placing myself in her hands. I thought to myself if I am going to this procedure it would have to be with her. I went to 3 plastic surgeons for a consultation for abdominal liposuction. The moment I met Dr. Begovic, I just knew I could trust her. Im sorry to say the good results i had thought I had after a revision lipo procedure for my arms did not unfortunately stand the test of time. After a year, the appearance is only slightly better than before the surgery and most definitely not worth the time, additional scars, cost and pain. Very sad to say the initial improvements seem to have been the result of swelling and were not a true improvement. read more
