I couldn't remember the last time I had caramel, so I pulled the trigger on that and it was sooo deLISH! PARKING Your best bet is to use the community parking garage (free) down by the lightrail station. The Folsom Cafe is right on Historic Sutter Street in the heart of their historic district so the curbside parking is awfully tight and no bueno. The employee helping me this morning came across as completely uninterested and lacked basic customer service skills. I still left a 15% tip, but honestly, I don't think I should have. Tipping shouldn't be automatic. It should reflect the service you receive. It's also a bit overpriced. Two burritos and two black coffees came to about $50 after a 15% tip, which feels excessive. I won't tip next time unless I actually receive good customer service, assuming I decide to come back. Without the quality of the food, this rating would have been even lower because of the price and the service I experienced this morning. If I had been helped by someone with a friendlier attitude, it would have made a big difference. With better customer service, I'd say the current 3.8-star overall rating is fair.

But there is ample parking around, you just have to approach from behind the amphitheater; it's the historic train station, now a cute Creperie and marketplace. They had games available for all ages, so we were able to find one perfect for a gaggle of 30 yr olds and giggled through a whole afternoon.
