We've been enjoying their crêpes at the farmers market for a long time now and now they have their own cute little place. Everything is delicious! We had the smoked salmon crêpe in the banana Nutella. Perfect savory and sweet combination. And in the same little spot is a business called Gather and Toast where you can get wine and some amazing champagne drinks.

But for the same price, we can get so much more at places like Oriental Market and just as delicious to satisfy our craving for Filipino food. Parking was easy with plenty of spaces out front, service was great and friendly. Seating space? Extremely limited, especially if you have a party of 5 or more. Best to order for takeout food which brings me to my main point - if I have to order Filipino takeout because of extremely limited seating, I'd rather simply get a la carte elsewhere and pay a lot less or hit up Rocklin area where there are restaurants that serve fantastic boba drinks with fantastic Filipino dishes for much more affordable prices! Is the food incredible? Yes! Will it satisfy your craving for Filipino food? Absolutely! Would I return? No, I wouldn't, to be perfectly honest. Regardless, I feel it's worth a try if you haven't yet but just be mindful of the highs and lows. It's not all great, but it's not all bad. Mediocre and average, at the very least, given all factors. Do I have high expectations of Filipino restaurants? You bet I do!

The owner is an incredibly kind, genuine man from Atlanta who brought authentic Southern barbecue to Folsom, and it shows in every bite. This isn't just another barbecue restaurant; it's the real deal. The beef ribs are my absolute favorite. They're perfectly smoked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. Honestly, I've tried just about everything on the menu, and I have yet to find anything that wasn't amazing. Belly Barbecue is in a league of its own, and there's simply nothing else like it anywhere around here. The only downside to Belly Barbecue being so amazing, they run out of food! But that's what happens when you make barbecue this good; people line up for it. My advice: get there early, because once they sell out, they're done for the day. If you appreciate authentic Southern barbecue made with pride and passion, Belly Barbecue is an absolute must-try. I can't recommend it highly enough!

A buddy and I split a tray with brisket, turkey, and pork ribs, plus grits, mac and cheese, and banana pudding. The turkey was good. It may not be anyone's first choice at a barbecue joint, but if a place knows what it's doing, the turkey should still be solid, and it was. The pork ribs had great flavor with perfect tenderness and just the right amount of bite. The brisket was the star of the meal. It had an excellent bark and reminded me of some of the best brisket I've had in Texas: simple salt and pepper seasoning done right. I also got my wife a beef rib and a side of collard greens to go. The customer service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and made the experience even better. I'll definitely be back. I also liked how the owner stayed in the front and engaged with every customer. Definitely a family feel coming here.

Food was great, service was attentive despite being busy on a Sunday afternoon. There is a tortilla lady in front making fresh tortillas with her own tip jar. Huge menu. You should be able to easily find whatever you're craving. There is a 11 AM to 3 PM weekday lunch menu on the back cover: Burrito specials on Mon & Fri Enchiladas specials on Tue & Wed Chile Relleno special on Thu DAILY Happy Hour menu for Bar & Patio area is 3-7 PM and after 9 PM. Complimentary corn tortilla chips, salsa, and refried bean dip with cheese. I loved the REFRIED BEAN DIP! I ordered the Steak a la Chicana. I didn't read or listen carefully enough that the skirt steak with sauteed onions and bell peppers are covered in Spanish sauce. The sauce is actually quite tasty with a little kick. I used it and the salsa to flavor the black beans. However, I really just wanted grilled steak. I should have ordered steak fajitas, a grilled steak burrito or quesadilla, or a carne asada plate. The Steak a la Chicana was a generous portion, which is definitely 2 meals for me. Cilantro rice wasn't anything special. The SWEET CORN TAMALITO is yummy comfort. Choice of beans: refried beans, black beans, or pinto beans. I suspect refried beans is the tastiest option. El Tapatio would be a great gathering place for friends and family. It's located on Sunrise Blvd in Citrus Heights near See's Candies and other restaurants.
