The drink menu had various boba offerings, well ahead of their time when vegan boba drinks were scarce. Of course every flavor they had was delicious. The restaurant was clean and cozy. We stop by when we get back into town on Sundays. Tired. Hungry. Want to go home. The gentleman who owns and runs this place is very friendly, cooperative and the food comes out pretty quickly. We're usually sitting outside in the car with our dog. If he's not busy he'll come out with the food. Sometimes I don't know exactly what I want. I'll describe what I'm hankering for and he suggests something or alter a dish to fit. Two of his best suggestions was the bah mi sandwich. I wanted double the filling and said I'd pay for the extra. He made it and it's great! Next dish I love is an eggplant dish. I'm not a huge tofu fan and he suggested all eggplant. YES! One of my favorite dishes. We haven't eaten in I don't think. We usually get everything to go. It has lots of indoor seating. No outdoor seating. read more

I got a Vietnamese Iced Coffee as it's difficult to find non-dairy versions at most restaurants and it was nice. The person working was friendly and brought out my food pretty quickly. Came here first time based on reviews we read and the fact that the menu looked good to us. We got the chicken drumsticks, mock duck buns, brocoli beef, strawberry smoothie, beef bahn mi sandwich. 12/10 would eat here again. Menu options are extensive. Gluten free labeling is stellar. Staff is cool. Location is good. Didn't care for the tap water, but that's my only negative zonk. If you are looking for a weary traveler place to drop in for a moment or a good spot for a casual date, this place is truly the bees knees. We tried this restaurant because of the high ratings on Yelp. Seriously we have no idea how this Pho Vegan restaurant gets these ratings. The food is lack luster and portions are SMALL. I had Chow Fun noodles with veggies. I've never had Chow Fun that tasted this bad! The veggies were carelessly tossed in with the noodles and hardly chopped up. Very salty and that's it! No sauce (that we could see or taste) my husband had tofu and eggplant and the Pad Thai with Veggie and Tofu. Both dishes looked like a child's portions. Again, ingredients just tossed together and no flavor! This quick lunch was not cheap...we expected MUCH better. We can't recommend. read more

The place reminds me of Signs Signs Everywhere Signs by Five Man Electric Band. It's like a HOA. It's a nice quiet and clean Vegan restaurant. Credit Card use added 3%. The Korean noodle dish has good flavor. The dumplings in the soup are so so. read more

The owner was rude and unwelcoming, and the food was disappointing. I usually expect vegan restaurants to be friendly and customer-focused, but this place was the opposite. The attitude made the experience uncomfortable, and it took away from the meal. I hope they improve, but based on my visit, I wouldn't recommend coming here. read more

On our way home from our mini-getaway, we decided to grab some pho to help warm us up during the crazy wet weather. After looking at the menu for this place, we were sold! We instantly got a seat, as the restaurant wasn't super busy. I did see a lot of to-go orders being picked up, however. It was a pretty quiet place, with some relaxing music on in the background. This led us to whisper to each other because we didn't want to disturb the ambiance lol I personally wanted to try everything, so I was pleased my husband picked the mock duck Bao buns. Before I cut meat out of my diet, I had never tried duck, or lots of woodland creatures for that matter, so I had nothing to compare it to. But they were SO good! The way the inside of the meat was chewy & softer, but the outside almost had a "skin" to it was incredible. The flavoring & sauce was too perfect. After inhaling those, we each ordered a bowl of the spicy noodle soup with tofu & beef. They were huge bowls of deliciousness! I made sure to ask for the the usual toppings, but primarily got basil & limes (no cilantro, jalapeño, or sprouts). But nonetheless, it was one of the best pho soups I've ever had! It was definitely enough for me to take some home for another meal. This restaurant is near Stanford ranch and fairway (near Costco) and has ample parking/ Staff is very friendly and their menu is pretty varied. You need to order at the counter vs table service. It is reassuring that they are vegan, no chicken broth, oyster sauce or other surprises. They also have reasonable sized water cups vs someone places where two gulps and your done Portion sizes are deft, food is good. You can also request oil free. I didn't know that the owners of Vegan Plate did their training here and went off on their own on Douglas Blvd. They shut down, karma is a B if you try to rip off the original owners. I came here this afternoon. For an order of Pad Thai. It was a big ball of dried up greasy noodles with 6 pieces of tofu. I brought it back to the restaurant. The owner said no refunds. He said next time don't order this! I said there won't be a next time!! I wouldn't have given it a star, but the app required it, The cost of this very poorly prepared Pad Thai dish was $14.50. I left a tip. Never again will I leave a tip at a small Mom and Pop restaurant until after. I've tasted the food. I left box of disgusting food withe owner. read more

I had to go to the Floor and Decor Store in Rocklin, and when I got out, I saw a sign for Vegan food in the same parking lot, so I came over to give it a try and I'm very glad I did! There was no one in the parking lot in front of the restaurant so I was a little worried, but soon realized that a lot of people order online and pick up or doordash. I started with the fresh roll and peanut sauce-the roll was very fresh and tasty and the peanut sauce was good, but not the best I've had. That being said, I also ordered the Báhn Mi sandwich-and that was really delicious. The bread is what makes a great Bánh Mì sandwich and it was perfection-crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the sandwich had just the right amount of fresh ingredients-I know I'll be coming back here many times just for the sandwich and to try other items from their menu! Love love love this place! Everything is delicious and it is hard to choose a dish. Nice to know it is all healthy. It is easy to find near Costco in Rocklin (diagonal across behind Jack in the box). Even if you are not vegan or vegetarian you will love it. The staff is really friendly and accommodating with helpful service. I really appreciate their friendliness to my family and especially my Aspergers syndrome (High functioning autistic) adult son who is very outgoing. The only negative thing I could say is that it is pretty pricey for a family of four. But so is every place I have eaten. Atrocious prices even at KFC/A&W! read more

Gave us the wrong item on takeout order and when we called to ask for a refund, they said "how do we know you ordered from us?". Also, the other dishes were such small portions, and several of the tofu dishes barely had any tofu in it. Food was very bland as well. Definitely will not be coming back. We happen to be in Rocklin at lunchtime, so I looked for a vegetarian restaurant on yelp. This came up, and since they had such a expensive menu we decided to go here. Great decision! Everything was so fresh and flavorful. They have a great selection, with pictures of everything up on the wall so you can get an idea of what you're ordering. I will definitely be going back. If you don't go for anything else, the Thai tea and coffee is SO GOOD! We love that everything here is vegan so we don't have to worry about finding chicken in our dishes (which has happened at other restaurants in town). Service was super welcoming and the restaurant booths were comfortable. While the location may not seem romantic, it made for a nice casual date spot. Everything we tried was tasty. We especially loved the chow mein. The plates were BIG, so there were plenty of leftovers. Grateful for old school paper takeout boxes which are more eco-friendly.
