We had a reservation, but when we arrived, no one greeted us. Instead, someone yelled from behind the bar to sit at a specific table--no walk over, no real welcome. We ordered an appetizer, expecting it first, but it came out cold and with the rest of our food. On top of that, our drinks were wrong and didn't taste good at all. The restaurant was empty and seemed overstaffed, yet the service was still disappointing. The arepas were the biggest letdown--dry, hard, and small. The chimichurri was extremely oily, and to make things worse, part of our order was missing when it was brought out. We spent over $100, and it was absolutely not worth it. I got two different empanadas the clasica and the Americana it was served with no sauce. My girlfriend got the classic chicken plate. All were very underwhelming and lacking flavor. And the chicken plate comes with a big pile of beans that have zero flavor. And the rice was just plain rice. Maybe I didn't order the right things, but I won't be coming back. read more

Run don't walk to get the Christmas Plate. It has three traditional Venezuelan Christmas dishes: tamale, chicken salad, and ham bread. Where else can you get those? And everything was prepared with great care. They only have so many of the tamales though so hurry before they run out. read more

I just did not like the food. I asked the server if the meat had onions and peppers. She acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. The shredded chicken was actually onions and peppers with a bit of chicken thrown in.
