I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Catmandoo Rescue Group for their tireless commitment to placing Meow-Meow's six lovable kittens in their forever homes. THANK YOU Catmandoo Rescue Group. In early March my husband and I helped a feral community momma cat who brought her six newborn kittens to an empty small pet house in our driveway. We ended up trapping mom and housing her kittens. For the next two months, we cared for momma "Meow-Meow" as we called her, feeding her 2-3 times a day, providing her and her kittens with protection from coyotes in our neighborhood. I think she knew our place was a safe space to bring her kitties to. For the next several weeks, the kittens grew. Each one thrived! Meow-Meow got spayed 8 weeks in. After 5 days, we released Meow-Meow only for her to return! She wouldn't leave her kitties. Meanwhile I had been reaching out to different organizations and rescue groups for help with taking the kittens for fostering and adoption. No takers. No one emailed or returned my frantic attempts. I was starting to feel hopeless. I would not take these kittens to the shelter. I wasn't getting any responses...until I met Marilyn from Catmandoo Rescue at PetSmart in Hawthorne. We spoke at length-as she was there volunteering with the rescue cats. Marilyn was very understanding and kind. When she said she'd talk with Suzanne from the rescue to verify that they could help me get the kittens adopted-it was a like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I was overjoyed. Fast-forward 11 weeks, all six kittens have been adopted and are in loving forever homes! We adopted a cat at PetSmart on Crenshaw and PCH in Torrance, CA, with the presumption that he would get fixed, chipped, and a rabies shot. We were told that he would get fixed before we brought him home. Then we got a message that he was ready, but he wasn't neutered, chipped, or rabies shot done yet. They said he would have an appointment in September, 2025. In October, I started asking questions. The lady who adopted him to us said she would respond in a day or two. Two weeks later, I can't get a response after several attempts. I tried to contact Catmandoo through their website contact form. No response. So if you adopt from this company, they are not telling the truth about what you signed up for. And they will not respond to you. read more

I hate leaving a negative review. I'm sure the organization is great but I had a bad experience. I adopted a kitten from Catmandoo 4 weeks ago. He came with a series of health issues. I should've used my better judgement to not adopt a kitten that hasn't been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and hasn't been seen by the rescues vet, but here I am... I took the kitten home without medical documents. Was told he didn't have any but that he was healthy! Now I'm hemorrhaging money in vet bills, and on the verge of a mental breakdown. The kitten I adopted came with fleas, ringworm, tapeworms, and coccidia. I've reached out to Suzanne for support and get very little or short responses. I should've saved my adoption money and rescued a kitten/cat off the street because that is exactly what I'm doing now except I paid someone an adoption fee. The worst part is that I have another cat at home and while I have been quarantining the kitten, I now have to test my resident cat for these things to ensure he hasn't been infected. I have been cleaning and sanitizing my home like crazy! And every time I feel we are moving forward, I get slapped with another issue and vet bill. It has been a nightmare! This isn't what I had envisioned when I considered adopting. It's my own fault too for not being careful with whom I adopted from. I guess we live and learn. read more

If I can give 0 stars I without a doubt, would. This rescue was located with a van and cages next to a PetSmart in Los Angeles from January-February of 2025. I adopted a kitten of 5-6 months at the time and did not seem to demonstrate any physical health issues. We were told she was given all of the shots she needed and would need to wait a month to spay with the same rescue as it was already included in the fee. They never responded to our texts, calls, or emails at all. Unfortunately, our kitten started to become extremely ill so we took her to several ER's and hospitals. Turns out she had contracted both FIP and cryptococcus. Cryptococcus is developed by inhaling microscopic fungal cells developed in the environment. When she was diagnosed, it was too late, the point where she became immobile. I assume this rescue keeps their rescued animals in a toxic facility where they can contract deadly diseases. They do not show any care for the well-being of their rescued pets. Is it really a rescue at this point? read more

I adopted twice from here and I LOVE my kitties with all my heart. However...first kitten I adopted last year came with parasites. Ok, sure, easy fix when it's just one. But I adopted another kitten a month ago and not only did it come with fleas, internal parasites...but I found out it also has RINGWORM. I was wondering why it looked like it had been shedding fur around its face. I had to take my other cat to the vet because he too now has caught ringworm. Thanks to Stephanie, I was able to find the friendliest most loving and energetic kitten ever, we decided to name her Scarlet! My fiancé and I were first paired with Scarlet after we decided we should get a kitten after our miscarriage, it took a lot of back and forth on how we would care for the kitten, especially with my oldest cat getting older and lonelier, he stopped playing.
