It was one of the hardest days of my life, but the team here made an unbearable experience as peaceful and compassionate as possible. The vet, a kind Latina woman Dr. Hernandez maybe?, was incredibly gentle and understanding. She could see our pain and even seemed to be holding back tears herself. She examined my boy and confirmed he was eligible for euthanasia, and from there, everything was handled with such empathy and care. We were given plenty of time to say our goodbyes before and after the procedure, and we chose to stay in the room as he peacefully passed. The staff gave us space, patience, and compassion every step of the way. When we received his ashes, they came in a beautiful urn along with a ceramic paw print keepsake. This was the most painful experience I've ever gone through, but I'm so grateful for the kindness, respect, and compassion shown by everyone here. Thank you to the entire staff for helping us say goodbye with love and dignity.
