One of my favorite bars in Fells Point. Atmosphere is laid back and I like the outdoor patio too. They always have a good band. The crowd is slightly more "grown and sexy" which I can appreciate. An extremely friendly and fun bar! The owner, bartenders, and regulars all make you feel like you've been going to Cat's Eye Pub as long as they have. Cat's Eye has a great selection of beer (about 40+ on draught and ~20 bottled). The bartenders are always excited to show you the new beers! The music is incomparable. There is an amazing band every night. Even the weekend happy hour bands are awesome! Some pretty big artists (both locally and internationally) have, and will continue to, stepped on the small and intimate stage of the Cat's Eye Pub. The proximity of the band is one of the greatest attributes of Cat's Eye. The audience feels like they're part of the band- especially with a VERY interactive performer- while still having plenty of room to dance and let loose. You never know who is going to walk through the doors at Cat's Eye Pub (from Tyrone Vaughn and Bruce Willis many years ago)! More recently, Kelly Bell and G Love (of G Love and Special Sauce) have been to Cat's Eye within the past month- and they were not at all shy to jump up and join the band! We had a terrible experience here about a month ago when we went to Baltimore with friends on Saturday night. We were walking around trying to find a place to go to. There were 2 bouncers at the door of this place and my friend asked if there was a cover. They said yes and she turned to me and asked me if I wanted to go there or someplace else. I didn't like the music so we started walking away. At that point one of the bouncers shouted at my friend: 'Are you Indian?' I am not sure what he was trying to imply, but that was incredibly offensive. Save your money and don't support this racist establishment. read more

Unfortunately the other night though, me and my girl got a cold shoulder from Larry (who I'm told is new). My dad has been going to this bar since he was my age. I've always enjoyed stopping in for a drink. However, last night the large muscular bartender was one of the most rude ppl I have came across. I get it's a Baltimore dive bar but my friend asked for a glass instead of a plastic cup before his IPA was poured. The bartender told him "no" , he also told me the same thing. Other people had glasses and there were plenty behind the bar... my guess is he's a career bartender and didn't want to be. Should have went to school or read a book about being polite. I smell tiny penis syndrome. In summary , cool bar to check out but your help will kill ya. read more

I used to love this bar. Then I had a bad experience with Tony and his coworker (whose name I don't remember). I've been to this bar at least 3 or 4 times and Tony has always been great. Unfortunately, tonight Tony chose to believe his short, bald coworker when we went to pay our tab. We had 3 drinks total. We paid cash for the first 2 drinks and then wanted to pay credit for the last one. Tony could not remember that we paid cash for the first 2 drinks (probably because of the shots I watched him take....?), so he asked his coworker to verify. His coworker then SCREAMED at us that we did NOT pay cash and owed him for 3 drinks. We were told to "get the fuck out" when we questioned the tab. This makes me so sad because I live 3 blocks from this place and used to love it. Tony has also introduced himself to me EVERY TIME I've been there. He never seems to remember us. I wish this would have ended differently. read more

Yes yes A million times yes. Some of the best live music you will ever hear and GOOD SOUND TECH! How often can you say that?! Right on the waterfront in Fells Point. Like-minded yet diverse crowd. Awesome staff. Maaaaybe not the best selection especially if you travel a lot but it is respectable and it is kept current. You can find something to enjoy for all tastes and price points. Live music and a REALLY GOOD BEER ON TAP selection. Owner of the bar is super cool and service is great. It is a little loud up front but the music is good and there is an area towards the back to hang out in and chat. 3.5 stars. I will be frequenting this place often. read more

I'm going to be honest - I probably never would have noticed this little dive bar in Fell's Point but my brother recommended it to us a while ago so we decided to give it a try. I really never have a problem finding parking in Fell's Point - I just fork out the $5 to park in the lot. Compared to the Harbor or DC, that's nothing. Anyway, Rob was a very attentive waiter and made sure to get (and remember!) our names. We tried a variety of their tap beers which seemed to be reasonably priced for the area. My friends and I want to love this bar but the bartenders are complete messes. The worst bartenders I have ever experienced - from the one who looks 16 and nodding out and the others who are more wasted than the customers. My friends and I came in the past weekend and watched one whom we believe was Colin or Culin have nearly 7 bombs in an hour and a half. This place has great music but horrible service. The bartenders seem to be more interested in partying and serving their friends than helping the customers. Make sure you get your drink on before coming here. read more
