Cool Irish pub. Good menu options Irish food and American bar food. There are tons of whiskey options which is really cool. Kitchen closes at 10. The Guinness beef stew didn't have much flavor and the Irish soda bread was more like a scone and not really like the soda bread you get in Ireland. Great decorations, feels like a real Irish pub. Our server was very nice and made sure we got our food order in before the kitchen closed.

I came here for lunch on a Saturday with my partner and his grandma. There is paid street parking available in front of the restaurant. We were seated right away even without a reservation. The place definitely has a pub vibe, though without the loud energy. Service was kind and friendly. I requested no ice in my water and it came as such. I got the shepard's pie and I enjoyed it. It seemed to be made with real ingredients and not just something heated up. Most items on the menu were below $20 which is somewhat rare these days for restaurant food. Overall I'd recommend this place for good food and service!

Just a darn good Irish pub in the middle of this downtown tourist town. Here's where you can go and enjoy a good Irish pub with good Irish food. There's a variety of good Irish style food to choose from, many of which have their own family flair. When I saw the shepherds pie on the menu, it made my choice easy. The shepherds pie comes with your typical beef, carrots, peas, and savory gravy. This is touted as a family recipe. It sure was good. On top sit your mashed potato. No doubt I will come back to this restaurant, There were so many good looking food choices. I'd have to try something new.

I've been to this restaurant 3 times and every time it delivers on deliciouness and consistency of quality. You can't go wrong with any food selection - the hardest part is selecting from all of the great menu items. Highly recommend as an authentic Irish treat while in Gettysburg!

Great atmosphere, beer, food and staff - can't ask much more than that. Nice on-tap beer selection. Enjoyed Harp and another that was Guinness-like but I don't remember the name. There were 5 of us. Both the Fish & Chips and the Shepherds Pie were large and delicious. Along with 2 different Burgers and a Caesar Salad, everyone enjoyed their dinner. The restaurant is about a block up from the town center of Gettysburg. Definitely will return on a future visit to town.

Only had drinks and dessert but both were great. As was Missy at the bar! Service could not have been better. The place was ole time Irish Pub atmosphere with lots of memorabilia on the walls. Authentic Irish atmosphere which I loved!

Friendly staff, cold beer and good food make this a great stop. Seated in one of several dining rooms, I felt like I was in Ireland. Wide selection of beer and cocktails. Menu is varied with lots of Irish specialties. I started with a small Caesar salad, served with several crusty slices/croutons...nice. I ordered the Shepherds Pie, which was served piping hot, with a generous and delicious topping of whipped potatoes. Divine! No room for dessert, though they sounded great.

Had a great dinner last night and would absolutely come back again!

Our dinner was delicious, server was incredibly helpful and I went with her recommendation. Husband had the po-boy and son had the Reuben which he said was the best he'd ever eaten!

We always are cheerfully greeted, and we are seated immediately because it was right after lunch and right before the dinner rush and we sat in the bar area on a high top and it worked out perfectly. Our server was outstanding. She came over got our drink order and if we wanted any appetizers which we did not get this time, but let me just say their appetizers are to kill for they are outstanding. As you can see in the photos, the burgers are done right they are nice and juicy and the toppings are just right in the buns are so fresh. It's crazy. So if you're in the Gettysburg Square area, we highly and I mean highly recommend stopping in here for either a burger or one of their other options which are all really good food well prepare prepared.

Because we were going out to dinner in a couple hours we just shared an appetizer and ordered flights. We ordered the large pretzel with pub cheese and it was really great. Pretzel seemed like it was made with fresh dough and it the buttery, saltiness just made it exactly what we wanted. I felt bad for the cooks and bartenders as the place was super busy, but it was a really fun vibe, and great service for how packed they were. The beers were great: I had the: -Incessant Luminescence (American Stout) -Portergeist -Sunglow - Hefeweizen -Jamba Blueberry Pumpkin Swirl sour Wifey had the: -Gettys Brau - Pilsner -Hop Hat - IPA -Dead Man Walking - Hazy IPA -My nickname in high school - Citrus IPA Ok, to be fair, the Jamba Blueberry Pumpkin Swirl sour was weird...it was more like a smoothie than a beer so the texture was odd, but the flavor was fun. I hate IPAs so I can't speak to them, but Wifey loved them. Overall- fun place, great vibe, very good beers and a great pretzel appetizer. I'd come back the next time we are out in Gettysburg.

We had reservations, but they were so busy that we did not get acknowledged for a bit ..in fact we felt a bit like we were in the way in the long hallway with servers flying by. When we were taken to our table, we found out from our server that they were understaffed. Took a while for our drinks, apps, entrees to come, but again we've never seen the Pub this busy. Unfortunately there were several things they were out of, but we made do. I'm not sure if there is a different chef, but the steak almost seemed boiled - it was tender but just not like I remembered. I wish I had written a review previously for comparison as it would've been fantastic. I would like to return again and suspect the experience would be back to the norm... The pub is in the basement of the Federal Pointe Inn hotel, which was historically a schoolhouse. There are cool old class pictures of the former students all around the pub. (When I was there, someone was visiting whose father had actually been a student and she had fun looking for him in all of the old pictures.) The layout is long and narrow, which gives four options for seating: the bustling bar scene, a more formal dining room with around 10 tables, a private dining room with a single long dining table... ...and an anti-social hallway with bar service and a few tables, perfect for when you've had a long day on the road and don't particularly want to socialize with anyone but still want to know that other people are alive. I loved it... I had a chicken caesar wrap (minus bacon - didn't need it) which was delicious, along with the best grilled asparagus I've ever eaten, and a glass of wine to sip while unwinding. The service from the bartender was friendly and attentive, but unhurried. And he didn't make me feel guilty for not hanging out with everyone else at the bar. I would gladly return. It's the kind of place I could see myself becoming a low-key regular.
