    Lamb burger

This place was excellent. If I lived here I'd come back again and again. My server was Jenny, she was awesome and helped with my dinner selection. I had the lamb burger and it was exquisite. A pint of Guinness - what could be better. And finished with a whiskey shot of Green Spot - Chateau Montelena (they must use the wineries barrels). Also excellent

Cool Irish pub. Good menu options Irish food and American bar food. There are tons of whiskey options which is really cool. Kitchen closes at 10. The Guinness beef stew didn't have much flavor and the Irish soda bread was more like a scone and not really like the soda bread you get in Ireland. Great decorations, feels like a real Irish pub. Our server was very nice and made sure we got our food order in before the kitchen closed.

Would I eat here again or recommend it? Sure, but it def wouldn't be my 1st suggestion in Gettysburg. Waitress and staff was very friendly and the building is old historic, pre-civil war years so that's super cool. Food is decent.

I came here for lunch on a Saturday with my partner and his grandma. There is paid street parking available in front of the restaurant. We were seated right away even without a reservation. The place definitely has a pub vibe, though without the loud energy. Service was kind and friendly. I requested no ice in my water and it came as such. I got the shepard's pie and I enjoyed it. It seemed to be made with real ingredients and not just something heated up. Most items on the menu were below $20 which is somewhat rare these days for restaurant food. Overall I'd recommend this place for good food and service!

Our waitress was top notch, very attentive and so kind. The selection of traditional Irish food at the lower portion of the menu was very nice, half of us chose from that and all agreed that was very good, including our Irish friend! Great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Just a darn good Irish pub in the middle of this downtown tourist town. Here's where you can go and enjoy a good Irish pub with good Irish food. There's a variety of good Irish style food to choose from, many of which have their own family flair. When I saw the shepherds pie on the menu, it made my choice easy. The shepherds pie comes with your typical beef, carrots, peas, and savory gravy. This is touted as a family recipe. It sure was good. On top sit your mashed potato. No doubt I will come back to this restaurant, There were so many good looking food choices. I'd have to try something new.

Great atmosphere, beer, food and staff - can't ask much more than that. Nice on-tap beer selection. Enjoyed Harp and another that was Guinness-like but I don't remember the name. There were 5 of us. Both the Fish & Chips and the Shepherds Pie were large and delicious. Along with 2 different Burgers and a Caesar Salad, everyone enjoyed their dinner. The restaurant is about a block up from the town center of Gettysburg. Definitely will return on a future visit to town.

I've been to this restaurant 3 times and every time it delivers on deliciouness and consistency of quality. You can't go wrong with any food selection - the hardest part is selecting from all of the great menu items. Highly recommend as an authentic Irish treat while in Gettysburg!

I had the smokehouse burger. I ordered it medium rare and it was served exactly how I ordered it. It was pink, moist, juicy and not over cooked. The burger was not a frozen or preformed patty. I could see the patty was hand formed. We were sat immediately at a table not far from the kitchen. Each of the dozen or so tables comfortably sits four people each. Our server was friendly, cheerful and attentive. There is a bar in the main dining area serving liquor and beer. In the back of the bar is a pool table and an outdoor patio also with a bar and several tables, offering a great way to eat and relax outside. There are two bathrooms, one inside the restaurant and the other is outside by the patio. The one by the patio is a little cleaner and better maintained. Burger prices are a little on the high side, averaging between $17.00. However, you are getting a superior burger. Street parking can be a bit of a challenge due to the restaurant being located in downtown Gettysburg. Parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays until 1 PM. This is a nice local pub to meet up with friends and family for a casual eating experience I recommend giving this joint a try. The qualitu of the burgers alone make it worth while.

I should've left and found another option altogether. We both ordered burgers (of course), his a bacon cheeseburger with fries and coleslaw, mine a patty melt on rye bread with Swiss cheese, fries and coleslaw. Both medium rare. Both came out medium well, no coleslaw, one invisible slice of cheese on each burger and white bread instead of rye on my patty melt. The grilled onions actually looked more like onion jam and the trays with black/white checkered paper this is served on looks like it's never seen a sponge or water. No, I can't recommend this place.

We had reservations, but they were so busy that we did not get acknowledged for a bit ..in fact we felt a bit like we were in the way in the long hallway with servers flying by. When we were taken to our table, we found out from our server that they were understaffed. Took a while for our drinks, apps, entrees to come, but again we've never seen the Pub this busy. Unfortunately there were several things they were out of, but we made do. I'm not sure if there is a different chef, but the steak almost seemed boiled - it was tender but just not like I remembered. I wish I had written a review previously for comparison as it would've been fantastic. I would like to return again and suspect the experience would be back to the norm... PS - as a pub where you would just want to sit in the bar area & enjoy some beverages among the crowd ..I'm sure it wasn't a bad night!

The pub is in the basement of the Federal Pointe Inn hotel, which was historically a schoolhouse. There are cool old class pictures of the former students all around the pub. (When I was there, someone was visiting whose father had actually been a student and she had fun looking for him in all of the old pictures.) The layout is long and narrow, which gives four options for seating: the bustling bar scene, a more formal dining room with around 10 tables, a private dining room with a single long dining table... ...and an anti-social hallway with bar service and a few tables, perfect for when you've had a long day on the road and don't particularly want to socialize with anyone but still want to know that other people are alive. I loved it... I had a chicken caesar wrap (minus bacon - didn't need it) which was delicious, along with the best grilled asparagus I've ever eaten, and a glass of wine to sip while unwinding. The service from the bartender was friendly and attentive, but unhurried. And he didn't make me feel guilty for not hanging out with everyone else at the bar. I would gladly return. It's the kind of place I could see myself becoming a low-key regular.
