After scheduling the week I needed the sitter via online/email, Lori (the owner) arranged a free "appointment" to meet my boy, go over various insurance/pet emergency/ home tour / info with my husband and I. She was extremely nice and pleasant, and I knew within 5 minutes that she was going to get along great with my 5 year old male, Diego. Diego tends to be quite shy, but warmed up with Lori during the week that I was out of town. She left a daily diary of her time with Diego, and also texted updates (with photos) to me throughout the week. I have never felt so at ease while away from my precious pet. I wasn't worried about him at all, and was able to enjoy my family at Christmastime. The rates are extremely affordable for the amount of attention 20 Toes gives to the furry little creatures. When I returned from my trip, I was pleased to find plenty of kitty toys laying out, food dish full, litter box spotless, and the daily kitty diary - which topped the cake. Lori was amazing.

Lori, the owner, sets up a consultation to meet with you and your pet(s) and go over their care and routine. She clearly explains company policies and procedures- including what they do in case of emergencies. She tours your home and makes sure she knows where your pet is likely to hang out, or in the case of my cats, hide. Her employees are well vetted and Lori maintains high standards for employment. 20 Toes will also bring in your mail/packages and water your plants. While you are away, a daily diary of the time spent with your pet is left, and you can also receive text updates and pictures. Seeing my diabetic and skittish cat snuggling with his pet sitter and playing with his cat toys provided such peace of mind. Quite possibly the nicest part of 20 Toes is that when I came home, the litter boxes were clean, the food and water dishes were full, and I had two very happy cats. For the peace of mind and the outstanding care that is provided, 20 Toes is worth every penny.

Vetrinary clinic would not quote spay or neuter pricing without a 1st visit appointment. The only good thing I can report is that they do allow early/spay neuter for kittens. It is difficult to find a vet clinic that will do that so if the office visit pricing wasn't so ridiculous, I would definitely go here.

I recently adopted a little Chihuahua from them, she was from a shelter in South Carolina and came through their gracious network. From the time of my first inquiry with them to adoption I found their communication to be on point, clear, candid, and open minded. I spoke to Jennifer, Nancy, Marge, and others. I From the time of my inquiry to adoption was a time frame of about 2 weeks. My experience was they promptly replied to my emails, picked up my phone calls, would return email me back even late hours into the nights and weekends, this organization is obviously driven by a profound sense of service and devotion. I would probably mention that since they are volunteer driven, if you have your heart set an a pup with them and it doesn't follow up through to adoption, be patient, be kind, and keep trying. It doesn't mean you are not a good person or candidate for a dog! I invite you to keep faithful and remain patient , it will all be worth it in the end once you can connect with your adoptive family member. They are not a for profit business, they are a for-happiness and pro-altruism rescue. They are a 501c3. Offer to volunteer, foster, and keep an open heart and mind. Each dog is a unique individual and I would encourage you to understand that once the time is right you will connect with your forever baby. They followed up with me afterwards, assisting me with procuring multiple medical records from out of state, even going the extra mile to mail me microchip and rabies tags. They even patiently and lovingly replied to all of my updates that the dog they placed with me was thriving. Wow. I'm writing this because I cannot believe the happiness my little angel has brought to me, she came from a tough past and now it is her time to be treated like royalty. The real lucky one here though? It's me!

Jessica came to our house before the trip and we were able to show her everything she needed to know to care for our cats. We received a detailed description of the visit every day as well as photos of our cats. Several of them are literally some of the best photos we have of them! Although we already liked Jessica, what really made her stand out is when there was a large snow storm. Our tenant was supposed to shovel for us, but his car broke down and he couldn't even make it home that night. We told Jessica about the situation and that our cats would be ok for a day. She said she would be fine, came by anyhow, climbed her way through over a foot of snow, and then brushed it off saying it was not a problem and we shouldn't worry about it. Now, that is dedication! I told them I didn't need a payment plan I could pay the whole thing but shouldn't have to. the receptionist told me they would take off the the charge for the unrequested service and I would have to pay the remaining balance and I was banned from their practice. I said that was fine. A month later I get a collection notice for the balance they took off my bill. none they're playing dumb. Avoid.
