On more than one occasion, I've had to wait at least 20-30 minutes past the promised pick up time for my order . This leads to considerable chaos , with tons of other customers congregating around the pick up shelf. Most recently I noticed the last person in the long (20+ people ) regular dine in line had already received and finished their food before our pickup order was ready. This location has very poor management and appears understaffed, I'd recommend eating elsewhere. read more

I love cava, it's my favorite place to eat and when it's ran properly it's such a great place to eat and be. However this location is not cava and is an atrocity and disgrace. Starting from before you even enter the location, there's trash everywhere. All over the outside seating area and all trash cans were overflowing, then you go to the open the door and it's broken. (Not a good first impression) but let's not judge a book by its horrible cover. As I entered the location I wasn't greeted by anyone and was actually ignored by the employees with their body language. As I approached the counter the guy said "what you want". And I proceeded to order my usual, a bowl with white rice and greens. Just from looking at the food I could already tell the food was not gonna be good, it looked like it was sitting out for hours and didn't have that fresh look that I usually experienced at other locations. As the first guy passed me on to the next employee to add the veggies and other stuff she showed zero level of care, it took 5 minutes of waiting for her to help us out. The transitions at the bar were not as swift and seamless as it should be, everything was slowed down and the line at this point was getting very backed up. Anyway at this point it's a lost cause but I still haven't ate, I go to sit down and every single table was dirty from previous customers. When I walked it there were probably 3 customers so they weren't in a rush when I came in so they definitely had time to clean the tables. So I find a seat that's half decent and wipe the table myself. I go to eat the food and it was so bad, like I could believe it. Even though the employees didn't give a sh*t and the place was trashy I still had some hope. It was horrible, and I'm so disappointed because I loved going to the cava in the heights and when I found out they open one in cypress I was excited because I live here. Anyway the place needs someone to just come in and clean the house, fire everybody and start fresh with new employees. Train and develop fresh minds that don't have all these bad habits that the manager at this location obviously allowed and didn't give any attention to. read more

The food is always great here but I cannot stress enough how bad the customer service is. I'm a very understanding easy going person. I know the food industry isn't the best to work in, and I totally get having a bad day, but you can't take that out on paying customers that have done nothing to you, and are coming here for a service. I've giving this place the benefit of doubt so many times because I love the food there, but the service makes you not want to eat anything from here. I will say there is an older lady that works there with blond hair that's always pleasant. I honestly think she's the only employee that's nice. She's soft-spoken but nice. Ordered delivery and thought it was tasty. I created a salad bowl with half right rice and thought everything was very flavorful. My one complaint is the for a salad bowl there wasn't much lettuce but regardless I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. One word: ASHLEY. She is sooo amazing, beautiful personality inside and out. This is my second time at this location and I've never felt more welcome. Ashley greeted me as soon as I entered. She gave me recommendations and suggestions. It's very seldom (especially post pandemic), to get great service. Ashley changed that, she deserves a promotion. Not very good. They have an extremely limited menu. This is the "Subway" of low quality Greek food. I had a Pita that turned out to be just a saucy mess. The chicken was overcooked to the point of having the consistency of marbles. The greens were not fresh. The food flavor was really bad. I have been to this location several times and they always seem to be short staffed. The line moves so unbelievably slow and they run out of items a lot. Food delivery drivers come in and wait forever for food that has been ordered online. This place could really do a ton of business but someone has got to work the glitches out ASAP or it will be RIP to this location. Also went yesterday 11-6-22 to get food and they had a sign saying that they were out of five to six items again. read more

The food I had at Cava was great!! I ordered 3 chicken pita wraps for pickup, each made differently. The food was flavorful, hot, fresh and did not get soggy by the time we made it home. I've seen some reviews about a bad staff experience, but don't let that deter you from the great food! Wish I had pics but we scarfed it all down too soon lol. read more

The employees on 10-23-22 were AWFUL. Placed an online order for 7:15, wasn't ready until 7:30. It was wrong and missing two items that were on the order and when I asked for the items they forgot to include they did not want to give me the items and informed me it was an up charge. Staff was rude and uncaring especially employee named jennifer was especially ignorant and was chatting it up with her co worker instead of paying attention to the 5+ customers infront of her. My family ordered take out last night and it got delivered to the wrong address. My husband called the restaurant to let them know and they did nothing except tell him that he put the address in wrong. He double checked and our address was correct for the order he submitted. They would not do anything to remedy the situation (for about a $100 order). This call took maybe 20 minutes or so. After another 30-45 minutes, we finally got a call from someone at Cava's headquarters level to attempt to fix this. At that point, we had already cooked dinner for our children. Pretty terrible customer service. We did eventually get a refund but I think a lot of that was due to my husband's dedication to getting the issue fixed. read more

There's a toilet at home you could flush your money down rather than going to this place. Honestly can't say much about the food cause I guess they were rationing when making my bowl. Service was mid and the three pieces of lettuce I received were also mid. If I wanted to be disappointed, I would've just looked into a mirror. Don't waste ya time. read more

While I liked the food here, the service was terrible. The first time I came here, everything was good and I was served by the man who i assume is the manager. The second time I went, the young girl with dark hair served my food, she was very rude and rushed me even though there was no one behind me. I got a kids pita and she put my hummus in the rice.. Prevously, the man put it with my pita chips like I wanted. I went a third time to hopefully have a better experience, but the same girl served me. She put my hummus in my rice again after I asked her not to. She is very rude to customers and doesn't know anything about customer service. My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere new to go for "date night." On a recommendation from a friend we decided to try it out. I am a very picky eater so we were not sure how it would go. I was very impressed with the options they had and we both thought the food was delicious. The location was perfect for us as we live in Cypress and the atmosphere was great!
