Which was different to see as most places don't do that but it is what it is. The rice was under cooked unless it's supposed to have a crunch to it? I really don't think the rice was suppose to have any crunchiness to it. Here is the worst part my chicken had bone in it! I was eating and bit into something hard ( not the rice) and there was a piece of bone. It was sharp at one end also. It was the continuation of a ruined meal. I'm teetering on a 1.5-2. I will be courteous having worked industry and round it up to a 2. The staff were nice!! Repeat after me. In the culinary world training wheels exist for a reason. You will not set off on a unicycle your first time and expect to be an expert at it. Newly opened at this location, I suspect growing pains and no training wheels were the culprits here. The order online process was easy. Arrived at the correct time. Order was presented with "SECURITY TAPE" as opposed to a "SECURITY BELGIAN MALINOIS". Ok. Cool. At least it's secure! Purchased my falafel bowl online, saffron rice, extra pickled onions, dill yogurt, Add **Falafels, and an extra side of dill yogurt home. Except... Whoever prepped the bowl forgot pretty much all the pickled onions (including the extra), all the dill yogurt (including the extra side), gave me double rice, and finally forgot the **Add Falafels portion of my gastronomic journey. The food was decent. Rice was well prepared and individual grains, but woefully lacking in any seasoning, like salt, pickled onions, and Dill Yogurt. The 4 falafels were good (with salt and hummus I had at home). but woefully lacking in any seasoning, like salt, pickled onions, and Dill Yogurt. This is like getting into a V12 Aston Martin and forgetting to put fuel in it before setting off for a nice long holiday. Not going to get very far. At least my wife's order was correct. And hot!!! So let's do a quick recap. Nice staff, mediocre food, and only ~60% of my order was correct. Like I noted at the beginning. The very slow cook did not give us our pita bread and hummus. Also the rice (which was not the brown rice I ordered) tasted terrible and was full of grease. 2 orders ahead of us waited over 25 minutes it's a line prep set up. Totally disorganized. Unfortunate as we were eager to try. Over $80 for 2 bowls and 2 wraps with fountain drinks. Food incorrect. Cashier disappeared. Hope management gets involved. Or you won't last. Cava is way better and less expensive. So are food trucks. And Nikos. No manager on duty. After my daughter let on that her salad was missing multiple items, including some paid for extra, we asked for the manager. Left hours ago. We asked for a refund for that salad. They cashed him on the phone. After 10 minutes on the phone between the line cook and the manager I had to ask what time he's going to be in next and left. The manager just stands around distracting the workers and my fiance even witnessed the managers and a worker dancing in the back while 5+ people were waiting for food to be made.
