Welcome to Olive Garden home of breadsticks and never ending salad bowls. A day out with the wife and she decided on Olive Garden and I'm always down for some O.G. It was a great choice the restaurant was clean and our server Rayne was great. She was bubbly and attentive. My wife ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with a bowl of chicken and gnocchi soup. I got the Spaghetti and Meatballs with meat sauce and the SALAD!!! I also got a grand pour of the Chianti Classico to go with it. The Breadsticks and Salad! If you're an aficionado of this restaurant chain then you know these two items are what makes or breaks a restaurant that bears the name Olive Garden, and this location passes. The breadsticks were fluffy and fresh. The salad had crisp lettuce, the tomatoes burst with flavor, and the banana peppers added that tangy zing. My Spaghetti and Meatballs with meat sauce was good. Olive Garden isn't the best but it's nice and I love the vibe I get there. The Chianti Classico was a little too acidic for my taste but it paired well with the spaghetti. My wife's Fettuccine Alfredo was good. I'm not a fan of Alfredo but this seemed very classic and not slopped with that heavy white sauce. It was just Parmesan and butter. The Chicken and Gnocchi was the best. This soup is my wife's favorite and one of the reasons she wanted Olive Garden. I love it too, the chicken is always well cooked and the gnocchi is a soft delicacy soaked in the herbs and spices of the creamy broth (this makes me want another bowl.) I highly recommend the Olive Garden in Cypress near Fairfield. read more

Keven was our server and he was great, had an upbeat attitude and helpful. When he didn't know something since he was newer he asked Manager Jen, who was also super nice and helpful. No. Just no. Walked in and it smelt like an old seafood restaurant- THEN I order a salad as an appetizer and never got it, THEN got my chicken gnocchi and welp the chicken was RAW... (look at pic), THEN I had to ask for plastic silverware because there was OLD FOOD ON MY SILVERWARE?!?! So they literally "cleaned" the dishes and then decided it was good enough to roll up the forks and spoons in the napkins to hand out to quest... yeah no I'll never ever eat there again. The server saw all this and never asked if there was anything they could do to help out so I never asked for them to comp my meal or anything. I haven't been to an Olive Garden in 12 years, but really wanted the salad and bread sticks. This is the closest Olive Garden to us and I was pleasantly surprised by the service and the food for a chain restaurant. The salad and breadsticks were better than I remember. The breadsticks were warm and buttery and salad was fresh. We ordered the lighter portion of the Alfredo and Chicken Parm which is lunch size and plenty for us. It was around $13-$14 for the lighter fare at dinner time. The kids meal was $6.99 and it came with pizza , fries, and a drink. The server was really good. Dom gave us great service. One of the best waiters ever. Our waiter was so attentive. Was our bachelor party dinner before the grooms wedding and we were very well taken care of. This type of service will make us come back to one of our favorite restaurants in Cypress. . If you go here ask for Dominic (Dom). He is a great server and takes very good care of you. I visited Olive Garden for the first time last week in probably at least five years to try the legendary N E V E R E N D I N G P A S T A B O W L ! First off, I'm amazed that a human is allowed to eat a theoretically infinite amount of pasta for $13.99 and only a few buck up charge for a choice of meat as well. This fact alone really makes me wonder why I go to Whataburger or Five Guys when I can get unlimited soup/salad, breadsticks, AND pasta for the same amount of a combo meal. Money truly is not real. We only had to wait 15 minutes on a Friday night and were sat in a cozy booth/hi-top-chair combo near the bar and we had an amazing time. Our waitress hyped us up and between her and the shift lead floating around checking up on everything, we were in want of nothing whatsoever. I ate so much food I was delirious - I probably ate a good 2% of my body weight in Alfredo sauce and a week later looking back, I'd. Do. It. Again. Olive Garden hate to see me coming. My only negative is that new butter herb sauce is not it, don't bother. It tastes like a weird twist on their salad dressing - not good on hot pasta. We hadn't been to Olive Garden in over a decade, and honestly, it was comforting to see how little has changed, in the best way. The food was still very good; the meatball appetizer could've been a full meal on its own, and the ravioli and salad were both fresh and satisfying. Everything came out quickly and just as expected. But the real standout of the night was our server, Kai. What a gem. Kind, attentive, and on top of it all. I did an order on my phone for spaghetti and salad. I got home and just had spaghetti. I guess when I sent these rest in the salad was not checked. They were just so so with customer service. Our delivery from the Fairfield Olive Garden ruined my wife's birthday dinner. We ordered our favorites. The soup arrived as broth with kale. No potatoes. No sausage. Zero effort. The salads looked old. Wilted leaves. Slimy texture. No one should serve food in that condition. The Alfredo side came in a container filled less than halfway. Portions in the restaurant are far larger. This felt like someone scooped a sample and called it a meal. We love Olive Garden as a family, so this hit hard. The breadsticks were the only item worth eating. Everything else showed careless prep and no respect for customers. We will not return to the Fairfield location. read more

This grilled chicken margarita was absolutely amazing!!! I wanted more of a healthier option so so tried this without the tomatoes and I loved it. The chicken was coated with mozzarella cheese and had a lemon, garlic and pesto butter sauce! This paired well with the broccoli. I also ordered the salad and it was good as always. I will say that I did order the fagioli and zuppa toscana soup and they were kind of watered down and bland, but I feel like I would've enjoyed the zuppa toscana more if it was made thicker. I've eaten from this OG too many times! Noticed I said from and not at, I've never stepped in the building. Not even once lol But lunch curbside stay winning in my books. I always order two meals cause I'm greedy af! Nah, really so I don't have to cook for dinner. OG prices have definitely risen so I'm cheap and ain't really trying to play those dinner prices for pasta. Everything is prepared on time and mostly delicious. The lunch lasagna looks like a kid portion, never ordering it again. My fav is the shrimp scampi though. Curbside staff has always been fairly friendly. The last time I called in my order because the website wouldn't let me order lunch (it was 15 til 3, they tripping) and I paid over the phone with this silly child repeating my credit card number even after I asked him to stop repeating it. Took my son for the first time in his twenty years of life to Olive Garden it's the first time I've ever taken him. It's also the first time I have been to this Cypress location. I had tried to call ahead for a reservation but the young lady who answered said they didn't take reservations that it was first come first serve when customers walked through the door. She did tell me there would probably be a wait time because dinner time was their busiest timeframe. When we got to the restaurant they were busy but since there was only four of us we got seated quickly. Our waiter was ready to greet us and explained the menu to my son as well as answered any questions he had. I wish I had caught his name. Our food was excellent and there was plenty of leftovers for seconds to be had we're ready to finish. I look forward to coming back. read more

The food is usually fine but if you place a to go order and I mean simple like spaghetti it takes 25-35 minutes ALWAYS! Absolute crazy. If service would improve this place would do so much better. I've seen this before and watched places shut down. Don't scratch your head and wonder what went wrong managers/owners. read more

7.5.22 We came for a late lunch on 7.4.22. They were not busy at all. The food was good but the service was not. Our waitress brought our drinks & 1 order of breadsticks. Time passed then she brought the salad and soup. More time passed with dirty dishes around us. Then she brought our entrees. She left all the dirty dishes on the table. She told us she would bring us more breadsticks, more drinks & ice for our drinks. (All the ice in our drinks had melted & everyone needed refills) A lot of time passed and some other person brought us 1 water, 1 to go cup of ice & no breadsticks. We never got the breadsticks she said she would bring. The waitress never came back to check on us. We were sitting with dirty dishes and 1/2 eaten food waiting (again) for our waitress to make an appearance. She finally showed up after about 15 minutes and we asked for to go containers and breadsticks to go (that we never got with our meal) ....and she ROLLED HER EYES. The stars are for the food only. Zero stars for our service. The bad service t I am very aware that restaurants are having a hard time finding "good" servers. But this was a bit much for a $70 pasta meal.
