Great service and delicious food, always fast and friendly. Nice patio to enjoy your food and feel the breeze.Definitely worth the trip and so many places to visit.

    Gyros and fries

The meats here are indeed very juicy, Chargrilled veggies are delicious and Rice is great. I loved the pita and the fresh salad. I also enjoy the market - they have Persian ice cream, Turkish delight, a couple of other treats you'd have to look around to get. One day I was craving a gyros pita and fries / salad for lunch. Hit the spot. Definitely a good amount of meat in the pita. Don't need to buy a second extra container of tzatziki, but I was feeling indulgent.

    Ground beef and chicken kabob

We came for lunch and ordered the gyro plate and the chicken and beef kabob combo. The gyro was good with fries, a little warm though because it was just sitting there and they didn't call our number. The beef kabob had good flavors and the chicken was chicken breast which was good and juicy. Small market, limited tables inside and outside. Tight parking lot. Good food!

The food is amazing and the market has all you could want for Mediterranean food. The hummus is so creamy , the best I've ever had. It's a fantastic market and the kebabs and food is much better, tender and juicier than some of the high priced restaurants I've been to. The koobideh is so juicy and tender. The owner is the kindest man. I remember him from a previous market, it was the best market ever. Now I'm so happy that a friend suggested we eat at this great market and I was so happy to see him again! It's off El Camino Real hidden behind other businesses so please find his market and you will be happy you did!

Ground beef wrap not done right.

I had high hopes for this wrap. I was starving and craving a good Middle Eastern wrap. But what I got instead was two skewers of ground beef (I ordered an extra skewer) wrapped in a tortilla filled with lettuce, chopped onions, and tomatoes that was heavily dressed in a mustard dressing. It was basically a Big Mac wrapped in a tortilla. There weren't even any Persian pickles in the wrap/burrito. What a disappointment. They sell lavash in the store, so I'm not sure why they didn't use lavash for their wraps.

Beef kabob wrap with fries. They say Flatbread, but it is definitely a tortilla

Do they carry Boondi? It is a savory Indian Snack, little balls of chick peas flower?

No. However, they have Falafel which sounds similar to what you are asking for.

    Do they have halal meat?

There are Halal options marked out. Not all menu items are Halal but you can read displayed signs indicating which items that are.

While the chicken and gyros were actually really good, the rest of the food was a letdown, the rice and salad were completely bland, and the bread was stale. Also the beef kebab was dry and saltier than the dead sea. On top of that, we got hit with surprise charges for sauce and peppers that nobody mentioned to us beforehand. Every restaurant i went to gives out sauce and condiments for no additional charge or notifies us. They didn't even bring us water until we explicitly asked for it, and they never came back to refill it once. Most places keep water topped off, but they definitely cut corners here. Our waitress was nice, but the waiter had a super forced smile and made it obvious he didn't want to be there. The bathroom itself was clean, but they had a sign telling people not to flush anything including toilet paper, which is a total health hazard and a weird oversight for a restaurant. Some people may interpet this literally Between the mid food, hidden fees, lazy service, and weird bathroom signs, we won't be coming back. Save your money and go somewhere else.

In San Diego, not offering tap water that is certainly drinkable is a disappointment, and charging $2 per bottle seems excessive when it certainly costs less to obtain. We opted for soft drinks ($4 each) and they were fine, except the Diet Coke was flat. The grilled meats (chicken kabob and chelo kabob barg) were clearly fresh and deliciously moist. The entrees took a bit to arrive but were clearly house-made. The fesenjoon stew had good flavors but was a bit too sweet. The tahdig was incredibly crispy, too thick to even cut with a knife. The kashkeh bademjan appetizer was good but nothing outstanding. Overall, the food is tasty, though the tahdig with fesenjoon could use a few tweaks. The prices were a bit high and dinner left more to be desired, but I am not opposed to coming back.

Between my coworker and I, we got the Cucumber Dip, Falafel appetizer, Ash Reshteh Vegetable Soup and the Beef and Chicken Kabob Combo. I really enjoyed the Ash Reshteh soup. I have never had it before, but it was packed full of unique flavor that I could've eaten more than a cup of. The falafels were really good, but I was a bit disappointed by the hummus it came with since it was very bland to me. The cucumber dip was not the best for either my coworker or I. It honestly almost tasted like plain yogurt. The kabob combo would've been amazing if the meat wasn't so dry. That's the only complaint about it, but the flavor was really good. Could've just been a fluke. This place serves very authentic food with large portions, high quality ingredients and loads of flavor!
