Over the years we've come to shop and ordered many of their delicious plates. Everything is always fresh, we'll spiced and delicious. They did add my favorite Garlic Mortadella which is my comfort food with lavish and yummy Persian cucumbers which they sell those too. Hopefully at some point, they will add other coldcuts and make a little deli section. The guys recognize me as one of their regular customers which is great. They're very helpful. If you want to eat here, there's one table inside and several outside. If you're middle Eastern, Eurasian or Mediterranean, you will love this store/food. I stopped by Peachy's Market & Grill and ordered the boneless chicken kabob meal with rice, and it completely hit the spot. The chicken was incredibly tender and juicy, packed with flavor without being overly salty (which I really appreciate). It paired perfectly with the lightly buttered rice, simple and comforting in the best way. The salad tasted exceptionally fresh. It had crisp romaine, bright tomatoes, cucumbers, and feta cheese which were all brought together with their family recipe honey mustard dressing. It was the best I've ever had. It had that perfect balance of sweet and tangy that makes you want to finish every bite. For dessert, I had two pieces of baklava, and they were fantastic--flaky, drenched in honey, and perfectly bite-sized pieces of heaven. The store has a good selection of Persian/Mediterranean staples. The chicken salad appetizer was great. The pickles in it were crunchy and I really liked the flavors. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was not dry. The rice was fresh and the texture was great. They make the plates to order so everything is fresh. We've enjoyed this place over the years and the food is very good. Not the cheapest, but huge portions that you could easily share. What I didn't appreciate on our most recent visit is the answer I got when I asked where their lettuce is from. Which in light of the recent outbreak of cyclospora is a very reasonable question. They wouldn't answer and kept repeating "the lettuce is pre-washed." I told them I wasn't questioning that, I wanted to know if they used Taylor Farms lettuce. They never answered. Which I'm assuming meant yes. So we didn't eat the salad. Peachy's please note-Many restaurants have pulled their lettuce or are disclosing to their customers. It's the right thing to do. read more

The meats here are indeed very juicy, Chargrilled veggies are delicious and Rice is great. I loved the pita and the fresh salad. I also enjoy the market - they have Persian ice cream, Turkish delight, a couple of other treats you'd have to look around to get. One day I was craving a gyros pita and fries / salad for lunch. We have been coming here for over 6-7 years and Peachy's never disappoint. We personally love getting their family meals when we have people over as the portions are amazing. Note that prices have gone up but we also live in a horrible economy. With that said, you still get a good amount of food to feed a crowd. The rice lasts you days! The salad is amazing and you can always add on skewers to your family pack. The staff is friendly and always willing to help if you need assistance bringing items to your car. No pictures this time but the food remains phenomenal. This place is tucked into a corner of a not-so-interesting mini-mall. However, judging by the number of customers on a random Sunday night, the secret is clearly out. The food is prepared fresh to order, it is reasonably priced, you get a ton of it, and it is incredibly delicious. I highly recommend getting the combo skewers of ground chicken and ground beef. Remember that "ground" chicken and "ground" beef are NOT the same when it comes to Persian food as it means in America. The chicken and beef are not ground up and served to you in bits at all; but they are highly seasoned. The combo comes with a ton of rice and a small but very fresh and excellent salad. Also, make sure to get the hummus appetizer; the hummus is obviously made fresh and so is the pita. You order at the back of the shop but most of the building is occupied by a market. There is a lot of interesting Persian and other Middle Eastern foods to browse and buy while you wait for your food to be prepared. We ordered Hummus (vegan), Yogurt Dip, Grilled Chicken Kabobs, Grilled Steak Kabobs, Grilled Veggies(vegan), Basmati Rice (vegan), Greek SaladTabbouleh (vegan), and of course Pita!! The hummus was the best I've EVER had. A woman from the UK who works in our office said it was the best hummus she has had being in the states. It was that good. Other items were delicious and will definitely come on my own when I'm craving some kabobs. I'm pretty silly though. The gyro was good with fries, a little warm though because it was just sitting there and they didn't call our number. What a great find tucked in one of the shopping centers. We ordered gyro wraps from here and they did not disappoint. They had good seasoning, tons of meat, and came with a side. Likely going to become a consistent staple for us for an easy weeknight meal. I am looking forward to trying out more fresh items from their market too, it all looked delicious! Only note is that their ordering menu doesn't have a button you select for a side (so they give you a salad as the default, when we would have loved fries). The food is amazing and the market has all you could want for Mediterranean food. The hummus is so creamy , the best I've ever had. It's a fantastic market and the kebabs and food is much better, tender and juicier than some of the high priced restaurants I've been to. The koobideh is so juicy and tender. The owner is the kindest man. I remember him from a previous market, it was the best market ever. Never judge a book by its cover... the location doesn't do this spot justice. Inside this little market is some of the best Greek food you will have! It's authentic, fresh and delicious! Service is super friendly as you place your order at the counter. This spot is to go only- nowhere to eat there, but you can peruse the aisles as you wait for your food. I had high hopes for this wrap. I was starving and craving a good Middle Eastern wrap. But what I got instead was two skewers of ground beef (I ordered an extra skewer) wrapped in a tortilla filled with lettuce, chopped onions, and tomatoes that was heavily dressed in a mustard dressing. It was basically a Big Mac wrapped in a tortilla. There weren't even any Persian pickles in the wrap/burrito. What a disappointment. It is about $12 with tax and comes in a side of fries (shoestring) or salad. They are great for catering as well and fairly reasonably priced, definitely better than Luna Grill. This review is for the grill only. Decent Persian selections lurking in a hidden store front. The wife enjoyed her Chicken Shawarma wrap. My falafel wrap was a little soggy. The side salads were fresh and tasty, with a delicious dressing. I would think twice before ordering the Persian Rice Pudding again. It was too perfumey for my taste, maybe too much rose water? Wandering the aisles while waiting for the food being prepared is a treat. I like that they have Sangak bread. It's pre-packaged, so not the same as the freshly baked Sangak from the Balboa International Market in San Diego, but intriguing enough that I may get one next time I'm here. Great food and service....... But... they had a major drop in recent catering. Person who took order for catering entered wrong due date, so when we came to pickup food..nothing. They *quickly* recovered and we had our full order (+) in short amount of time and it all worked out. 'We would both order from them again and highly recommend them. BUT - make sure you triple-check your catering dates on printed receipts when you order/pay as they DO make mistakes, so we have to do their job of ensuring correct reading of calendar and order for them. We do thank you for quickly recovering and filling order...AND that should not have happened. Hopefully clerk has been trained properly in how to read a calendar. read more
