My friend and I stopped by earlier today. The service was good due to the staff being kind. However, the food was not good at all. The chicken I had was mainly fat, which was a bummer since I was looking forward to having some fresh and delicious food. 2.5/5 The ambience was pretty mellow when we were there. It wasn't loud at all, but they were busy with people ordering their food and taking it to go, just like we did. Customer service was good, but unfortunately the food was a miss. I love coming to this place.. Today, I witnessed something odd.. There is a young black woman that works the base station.. She is always nice and helpful.. Today, there is a young black man(who I guessing is the manager) working protein. I heard the young man let the young lady know that he has protein, and no need for her help.. Problem is, Cava is always busy, so the line got backed up and she helped him with one protein until he caught up so the customers wouldn't get restless.. And of course, he had that look as if he was upset, but all she did was try to help him and the business.. I make mention because I can tell he may try to turn the story around on her.. I love Cava but unfortunately, this location has been more misses than hits for me. My typical order is a bowl with rice, lentils, falafel & veggies with a side of pita chips. Sadly, my most recent visit yielded a totally inedible meal. My pita chips were burnt. The lentils in my bowl were severely undercooked that they were crunchy like small pebbles. I nearly hurt my teeth biting down on a spoonful! Unable to salvage anything from my meal, I tried calling the location for a week, as I don't live super close to this location, to address the issue but have not been able to get through. Regrettably, I'll have to cross this off my go-to list whenever I'm in the area. read more

The last 3 times I've ordered from this location, it has gotten worse each time. Ordered DoorDash, my order was completely incorrect. Then my order is always the same, yet my total is never consistent. Service is a joke, they have a very young group of staff & they barely want to be there. But the last straw was having hard uncooked rice. I tried looking past it but it ruined the entire bowl. I don't think I'll be returning to THIS location. read more

This isn't our first time to CAVA but our first time to this location. We love CAVA. We came in a Sunday evening with four to go orders. The young lady taking our order was so nice and helpful. She was new there but had a great demeanor. We ordered 4 bowls and she nailed everything. We got home about 15 minutes later and everything was spot on. Glad there is a location just minutes away. The location is so convenient with plenty of parking. It's clean. The food however, not that great. Can't comment on the service because I placed an online order. I built my own bowl and paid extra for avocado. There was no rice, no avocado, no corn, no pickles, no cucumber. The side pita was missing and my husband's wrap was also missing some ingredients. Everything was packaged like it was made in a rush. So, that was very unsatisfying. Three stars for location, clean space and nice ambiance. I will try this location one more time, hopefully it's better next time. read more

Walked in to order a takeout order. The employee that took my order rushed through the entire process which didn't seem unusual at the start as it seemed they might have been busy with online orders. It became clear that something was frustrating to this particular employee when we got to the end and they had to get the Greek dressing I wanted from the walk in refrigerator. They tried to fill my side of dressing twice and ended up slamming the to go cup into the trash out of frustration. All in all, very poor experience considering I didn't make any special requests and it felt like ordering my food was an extreme inconvenience to this particular employee. read more

I had been to another Cava location before this one got built and enjoyed my experience, so I was excited when one came to my neighborhood. I've been twice - both times using the online order pickup. They have an app that makes it really easy to order and also learn more about the ingredients. Cava is basically a Mediterranean Chipotle, but you have way more customization options. I usually do the greens + grains bowl to get both lettuce and rice. You can add up to 3 dips and spreads, and the crazy feta and hummus are both fantastic. I would recommend only adding 1 dip or spread if you are just getting the salad, otherwise it can make your bowl a little soupy. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating at this location, and it's very clean. The staff is incredibly friendly - both times I've come I have been very impressed with the staff. The parking lot can be pretty full if it's a busy time, but there are some street parking spots. I have yet to see this Cava busy which surprises me a bit given how popular the other location I've tried was. I think it's worth trying. read more

Let me say this first, I love Cava! However, this may be the dirtiest cava in dfw. Honestly, the staff workers just do not have good service and treat this place like crap. They rush your order and throw things around. The counters are all messy with food everywhere. Staff on their phone not paying attention. When they scoop the food other food falling into other types ones. They rarely have steak or missing one of the chicken flavors or the pita is hard. The drink containers that hold the lemonade etc look like they haven't been cleaned. I'm not even this type but they giving bottom of the barrel for such a great replace. It's a people problem not a Cava problem. read more

I very rarely find a restaurant that moves me to make a negative review, but this Cava location was the dirtiest restaurant I've been in in awhile. Trash overflowing, tables with food still on them, the drink bar was filthy, even the silverware was dirty (plastic ware at that). Friday night staffing may have played a role, but unacceptable. read more

Let me start by saying I have high expectations because every time I've ever been here before the food & service were exceptional. Nick was not unfriendly. The toppings looked rough and old today. So bad I passed on both kinds with tomatoes. The onions were old too. Much much hotter than the schug. The meatballs were tiny and burnt like extra well done, I won't get them again, and will probably be a while till I come to this location again, as Southlake has had the second best employees and the best food to date. This is the first time ever I've ever left here and not been 100% beyond satisfied with this locations previous excellence. I'm driving from Weatherford, but if I'm already driving 45 minutes, another 20 won't hurt. I will also check out the location by Hulen Mall. Food and crew were off today. Hope to see my friendly staff here next time I roll thru. I miss my lil sweet lady manager with tattoo on her neck. She's a doll and food is always on point when she's running the crew. I went on 3/18 Monday around 4:30 and it was so yummy and a great experience overall! The service was great! They were patient with us being there for the first time! Also it's like chipotle but in my opinion better, and same time/ fast paced. So will come back!! Also had multiple open parking spots which is nice for being on 7th street. read more

The service is the worst service I've ever had in my life. The employees are very slow. They roll your eyes at you when you ask a question or simply ignore you. I order a meal online for it to be ready 30 mins after I ordered it and when I got there, I had to wait an extra 25 mins. That's unexceptable. And there were 3 other infront waiting longer.
