Cobb Salad with Steak
Allison H.

Wow! I am so pleasantly surprised by this Salad and Go location. First, the menu was very simple to read and had lots of great options for very reasonable prices. Pulling around to the window, they greeted me by name and handed me exactly the right order within about 30 seconds. Very friendly service, she warned me to stay safe in the cold weather we are having. When I got the salad home I was surprised at how much product was in the container for such a reasonable price. I chose the Cobb salad with steak and it was about seven dollars. It tastes amazing as well, and everything is very fresh. I will definitely be back and I'm glad I gave it a shot!

The lettuce was black around and the edges on a lot of the pieces and the tomatoes came like the one you see in this photo smooshed open already. The meat looks like dog food squares, now with no flavor and is overcooked. Would not recommend this place ever again and this will be my last time visiting there.. unfortunately. I will say it was good when it first opened, not sure where the quality control went.

Excellent customer service, great salads and refreshing drinks Would recommend 10/10

I've been coming here a lot! Great healthy fast food option. The drinks are so refreshing during this summer heat, I hope they never change the price!

I always get their blue cheese salad the first one on the menu. Today I tried something different for the first time. I got Their seasonal Brussel sprout salad. It was pretty good! The blue cheese one is still my fav and it's hard to get anything else when I know it's that good, but their seasonal one was very flavorful and tasty as well! As always lots of toppings, flavor, and easy on the wallet! We also tried the cucumber mint drink! Very fresh. I love how you can see the mint leaves floating in the bottom!

We tried the Cobb salad with chicken and the Greek salad with tofu. The Cobb salad was really tasty! There is bleu cheese in it, which makes it a little salty and adds that funky weird flavor. It's topped with lots of bacon and a whole egg! Pretty filling and we'd definitely order again. The Greek salad is refreshing and the dressing is delicious! It's filling but still feels light. The mango green iced tea is very good with a nice tropical flavor! The girl at the window was friendly and nice. I would rate Salad and Go higher than Panera because it's a better value and I love the options here!

Disappointing experience waited longer than 30 minutes for a bowl of mac & cheese. Would not recommend this location.

This place is an institution. It's been here forever. And it has stood the test of time for good…read morereason. It was originally a grocery store that also served burgers. But the burger counter was so popular, now the whole place is a classic burger joint. And the burgers are really good -- as are the onion rings and fried okra. (We haven't tried the fries yet.) The onion rings are flavorful, crispy, and surprisingly peppery. You order at the counter, and they call your name when your order is ready. Everything is packed to go but you can eat there (they have plenty of seating). The only issue I had was that if you go to the tables to sit while you wait for your order, you can't hear the names they're calling out. They offer beer and ice cream as well, including Shiner and Blue Bell. Go Texas :-) I had the regular cheeseburger, "Cowtown Style" (with grilled onions and Jalapeno). I loved it! It's an old fashioned place - a trip down memory lane - a throwback to simpler times. And I loved it!

I had to be in the neighborhood so decided to hit it up for lunch. There wasn't even a line, which is unusual. I quickly ordered and received my order within 5 minutes. Everything was hot and fresh, and generally good as always. If nothing else they are consistent. The 1/2 lb patty, melted cheese, all the vegetables were there in ample amounts. However a few critiques are in order. The meat was bordering on overwhelming in size and could have used some seasoning. It lacked some flavor; perhaps a mix with a tad more fat (ok the haters are going to come after me now, but we all know fat is flavor). The cheese got lost in the size of the meat and almost seemed to not be there. All in all a good (not great) fresh old fashioned cheeseburger. I do have a gripe about the onion rings. Every single ring, which were only about 5 rings, consisted of a microscopically thin "slice" of onion that couldn't be tasted and hardly existed, and a lot of batter. The batter was well seasoned, but come on guys. Give us a decent sized ring will ya?! Of course I will come back because this is an institution on the west side of Fort Worth where I grew up. I always seem to run into some of the long standing regulars there for a nice friendly meal.

You get close to angelo's and you must be doing something right. The bread was crisp and tender. Steak was rich and melted into the cheese matrix. If you have had cooper sharp, it's like American cheese and cheddar combined. When cooked properly with fried onions, it's make a cheese sauce that is unmistakably philly. This was getting close to the real deal, but feel short overall. The north shore roast beef was a find! The sando was stacked thick with meat. I didn't really like the bbq sauce, but that is what a north shore is like for sure. The owner of this place and I would be great friends with things like this on the menu. They continue to share regional favorites your can't really find unless you travel. This place is a true gem. The pizza is fabulous as well!

For the life of me, I've never figured out why they call chicken tenders, fingers. Chickens don't have fingers! Ha ha ha! I like Raising Cane's because they have a limited menu, and the choices are easy to decide on. Smart idea, do what you do and do it well! We decided to order the Caniac Combo to share. It included 6 Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, 2 Cane's Sauces, Texas Toast, Coleslaw, and a Large Fountain Drink. All we had to do was add an extra drink. The Caniac Combo was plenty for us to share. Watching the staff in the back was like watching a finely tuned military unit march in precision. As we were seated and waiting for our order, I looked around the dining room and noticed it was VERY clean and the counters were shining. The drink station was neat and orderly. It showed the employees took pride in their place of work. Our Caniac Combo was ready in a jiff, and the fingers were right out of the fryer, crisp and delicious. Love the Cane's Sauce, fries, and slaw. Cane's has some of the best Texas Toast in the fast food business. Overall, we had an awesome, relaxing visit to Raising Cane's.
