FAR out hospitality nails it again. All the FAR out restaurants are great, so naturally the Little Tavern is no exception. It's a take on the Tavern off of Hulen and has a lot of similar items as well as some unique ones. I opted for the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Damn, it was good. Masterfully fried chicken breast with a buffalo sauce that had the perfect tang. The coating was perfect, not too saucy. On top of the chicken was ranch dressing and a slaw. I got an extra side of ranch for dipping, can't go wrong with extra ranch. It was served with their shoe string fries on the side which are dynamite. Washed it down with a beer while sitting at the bar. Restaurant is nice and clean, service is top notch and attentive, management is visible and making sure everyone is being taken care of. What can I say, you gotta eat here.

Practically perfect in every way, that is Little Tavern. Oh, and do not allow "Little" to distract you! Highly recommend for four (4) reasons: (1) STAFF that is friendly and calm (you'll see) from the host/tess at the door to the attentive wait/bar staff to the manager who talks to guests and busses tables. (2) DECOR that is chic, modern eclectic - I mean how can you not love a place that spotlights Willie Nelson's portrait at the door!! (3) FOOD/BEV options that are classics with bold twists. (4) PRICE bc the offerings and service are much higher value than your bill. TIPA: Check the "sides" menu for some tasty options - house salad is the best we've had in ages; baked potato with brisket is huge and marvelous. ENJOY!

Such a good flavorful salad! Lots of different yummy textures, solid price, great portion! Thoroughly enjoyed this. The sweet tea was pretty decent. The whole restaraunt reeked of a smoky smell unfortunately but likely just a one-off thing so don't let that deter you. Also the booth fabric was pretty rough and uncomfortable. But i liked this place and great service and a cute modern vibe and solid menu

Great service and atmosphere . Definitely will go back again! It was a great evening to sit on the patio and enjoy our friends.

The Little Tavern used to be F1 Smokehouse, but they've rebranded. The menu is smaller than the Tavern's menu, but they've brought back some old favorites that you can't get at the Tavern anymore (Brisket Nachos!). The space is small, and it does smell like a Smokehouse, but it's charming. The outside patio is nice. The entire restaurant hosts Happy Hour (not just the bar area), unlike the Tavern. Also, for now at least, it's not busy. I hate that you can't get into the Tavern because of how busy they get, so this is a very nice replacement spot. The food was excellent, just as great as the Tavern. The service though, wow! Kyle was our server, and I'll ask for him every time from now on, excellent! Overall, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be back!

Lots of tables and cute pictures. The place is loud but that's because everyone is talking at their table. Our server Trayvon was super nice and very helpful. He gave some good recommendations since this was our 1st time. We ordered a couple of cocktails. I ordered a strawberry lemon drop and hubby had a Bee's Knee. It had Gin honey and lemon. Hubby got the traditional breakfast-chicken apple sausage, sourdough toast and hash browns and scrambled eggs with cheese. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with the gravy on the side. I rather dip the chicken in the gravy verse having it poured on top. My chicken fried chicken came with grits and sourdough toast. The chicken was so good and flavorful. I loved the grits. I also got a side of chicken apple sausage and when I tell you it was so good. It had just right amount of sweetness. This is a place to bring family and friends from out of town. We will be back.

Very large menu with lots of great choices for breakfast, lunch, brunch. Cocktails, mocktails, fresh juice also available. I got the CHICKEN BACON RANCH PANINI - it was really good but messy. Arrived sloppy dripping in ranch. I ended up having for fork & knife it. Good bacon, grilled chicken, slices of avocado. Would get ranch on side next time - It tastes like the typical restaurant supply big bucket of blah ranch. They need a house made ranch. The fried okra was really good! MONTE CRISTO - on a croissant. Completely soggy and unable to eat as a sandwich. Strawberry jam on it was a nice different touch. Had to eat with fork & knife. Not one of the better ones in the area. Fries were really good though. While it was a lovely experience in a stunning environment, it fell a bit short of the high bar you'd expect for a $95/pp tea service. The Good: First and foremost, the environment is absolutely beautiful. The Bowie House, Bricks & Horses restaurant, and the Mulberry Room itself are gorgeously decorated with a sophisticated Texas Western theme. The atmosphere in the Mulberry library is intimate and visually striking. Additionally, the service was excellent from start to finish, being both attentive and professional. The food portions are quite generous, with both the savories and sweets served together on a single tower. The sweets were the highlight of the food, as they were very delicious and surprisingly large. We also really enjoyed the tea selections themselves, particularly the Earl Grey and the plum rooibos. The Letdowns: Unfortunately, a few details missed the mark, especially considering the premium price point: - The "Champagne": The experience is advertised as including a glass of Champagne, but we were actually served Prosecco. At nearly $100 a person, substituting Prosecco for real Champagne or Cremant is a major disappointment. - The Tea Service: Instead of receiving a teapot to enjoy throughout the afternoon, the tea is steeped directly in the cup. This limits you to a single cup per tea variety, though to be fair, I didn't ask if refills were an option. - Food Refinement: While the portions were large and the savories were tasty, they lacked the elegance of a traditional tea. Every savory option was open-faced and heavily blanketed in microgreens and edible flowers, which felt a bit unrefined. - Comfort & Conversation: The Mulberry library features low couches, deep chairs, and coffee tables. While this setup would be absolutely perfect for relaxing with a glass of whiskey, it makes leaning over to eat finger foods highly uncomfortable. Furthermore, the seating layout isn't ideal for holding a natural conversation with the people in your party. Overall: It is a nice experience in a breathtaking Fort Worth hotel, but I'm not sure I would return. If the price point were lower, the execution would make more sense. However, given the other highly refined afternoon tea options available across DFW for less money, this one doesn't quite live up to its price tag.

I asked for a splash of cranberry juice. That's it. The easy solution would have been to hold back a little OJ and add a splash of cranberry. Instead, I was told I would need to purchase a separate cranberry drink or pay full price for the mimosa. For a splash of juice? Wow. That's unfortunate, because so much of the experience was actually great. Our server, Ashlyn, was really good, super friendly, attentive, and consistently checked on us. The decor was beautiful, and the food delivered. The birria tacos were delicious. The tortilla was lightly sautéed, the portion of meat was generous, and the consommé was nicely seasoned. The chicken nachos were also really good, with just the right amount of guacamole, sour cream, and pico. I would absolutely have returned with friends based on the food, atmosphere, and service. But customer service is also about the little things. I've made this same simple request at every order of mimosa at any restaurants and have never experienced that level of resistance. I understand having standards and policies, but there should also be room for common sense and customer consideration. When the request is this small and the accommodation is this easy, saying "yes" goes a long way. 360 had a real opportunity to turn a good experience into a great one. Instead, the mimosa policy left a sour taste that the food couldn't quite overcome.
