Went in with the salad bad on my radar, but got side tracked with the Dill Pickle Club Wrap. This has wrap has chicken, bacon, dill pickles and dill pickle dressing all nestled in a wheat wrap. Enjoyed this with some Baked Lays and a side order of Chicken and Dumpling soup. Washed it all down with an Arnold Palmer. Overall this is one of my favorite locations but due to where it is located it can be tricky to find a parking spot. Service is great as you are created with a smile. First time eating at this location. Friend and I were hungry after visiting the doctor and hospital. I ordered the Rueben along with chicken noodle soup. Delicious! Since it was mid-afternoon, staff seemed on the light side I guess to streamline labor cost. We had great service nonetheless. The restaurant seemed clean and well-maintained. My Mom and Aunt love this place! Personally, it's just ok. Jason's Deli is not one of my favorite places to go. I was more impressed with the service than the food. Here's what I discovered. Parking is not the best. Hence, there are other restaurants and business that share the parking lot. The one spot that's available is being taken by an overlapped parker. The spaces seem slim and the lines are not as visible. I guess bc, most people drive SUV's. Curbside Parking is also reserved. This is the happening place after church. You will see groups of families, friends, seniors and even the Military! Also, this one fam moved the tables around to accommodate their party. Jason's Deli offers lots of choices. I was really overwhelmed with all the choices of Soups, Salads and Pastas. I just quickly ordered a large Salad. Employees were ready to help. Salad bar was open! Although, you had to wear gloves. Ranch dressing was running low on one side of the salad bar. My garlic bread was tough with an overwhelming taste of garlic and it was hard as a rock! Ranch Dressing was creamy and tasty better than most. Pasta was super bland and flavorless. I guess, it was sitting at the salad bar for too long. My friend ordered the Broccoli Cheese Soup. I think, she said, it tasted like it was from a can. She said, it was not fresh. Service was excellent. The busboy was a mature Mexican guy that took our plates on a small crammed table. I come to this several times a month on today I went in to get my usual manager special, which I typically get half of a sandwich and then I upgrade to a side salad. fixing my salad and I had one container to be able to put my salad dressing in so I asked the manager if I could have a smaller container to put sunflower seeds, walnuts, and the dry cranberry in? I was told no! I explained what I needed it for she turned to look at what I had in my hand and turned right back around and said no and walked away. This is just ridiculous. My family of four went to eat dinner, my kids are in love with the chicken Alfredo a that's their go to every time we eat there. I had the broccoli cheese soup and it was tasty. Pricing was a little high but to be expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They didn't rush us when we needed a second look at the menu. Jason's Deli offers both and it's always delicious and always affordable. I'm really big on lunch. I'm a "skip breakfast" or "lunch for breakfast" kind of woman. Sandwiches, soup, salad... these are things I'm almost always in the mood for. I've always been a fan of Jason's Deli because their food consistently tastes good and seems fresh. Colorful and crisp and flavorful. The salad bar is always clean and taken care of. There could be a zillion people jammed in here or just a few, and either way you get taken care of quickly. The staff is sweet and they're efficient! I love this particular location, although it's not my usual Jason's. I typically order half a sandwich (gluten free bread -- they're great about dietary needs and being upfront about their practices), or half a potato because they're so enormous.... salad bar... delicious tomato basil soup, especially in the fall... red beans and rice. Go to Any other sandwich shop for more meat, faster prep and WAY better gluten free choices. Over priced with almost no protein on there. Not as pictured online. I've ordered here many times while my little one was in the hospital nearby and their consistent food and timely orders always brought a bright spot to the day. I love Jason's Deli. This one is very clean and modern. Today I took my little one to lunch here because he loves their broccoli cheese soup and I love everything in the menu. The restrooms were clean, even the changing station! The booth and table were also very clean. Food came out piping hot and our order was accurate. I believe this location has had a management change in the last couple of years and it is reflected in the level of customer service. For example, I went there this morning at about 10:30 am. There were no customers in the restaurant and two employees at the counter. Neither greeted me or acknowledged me or made any effort to take my order. After a couple of minutes, the male employee mumbled something and then went to the kitchen area. The phone then rang, and the female employee walked past me to answer the phone. After the phone call she came to the register to take my order. I've eaten here about half a dozen times or more over the past year. The restaurant is always very clean with plenty of staff. Staff members are friendly and patient. Menu is what you would expect for any Jason's Deli. I order off the menu, but the salad bar always looks well stocked and clean. The managers are nice and especially geared towards customer service. They have lemons and limes for iced tea, and the tea tastes fresh. They also started issuing new to-go cups that are nice and big. Honestly the only minor complaint I have is the French onion soup isn't always as hot as I like. They cheese on top seems microwaved instead of broiled, but it's still good enough to eat. Other soups aren't very hot either. Overall a great location. Despite being in an area with limited parking I can almost always find a spot close by. We are staying at a hotel across the parking lot. Since Jason's Deli is typically consistent with quality, we decided to walk across the parking lot for dinner. Such a disappointing mistake. It was terrible. The kids pasta meals were cold. The first beef stew we were served was literally a bowl of thin broth with 2 carrots and 2 bites of meant. No potatoes at all. I eat the beef stew at the Jason's in Waco a lot & it is soooo good. This was totally tasteless and cold. Not slightly warm even. One side one of us had was macaroni & cheese. It was clearly microwaved and was nit even close to done. Totally tasteless as well and also cold. A waste of $45 on a meal we should have had elsewhere. Stay far away from this one! read more

Have to give 5 stars. Every time we come to this location the staff here never fails to impress with their customer service but tonight they went above and beyond for me. I am Always very considerate about walking in near closing time because I understand the feeling of being tired after a long shift and seeing someone come in to order last minute. Tonight I got out of work really really late and am not feeling my best. I walked in 5 minutes prior to closing time and politely asked if they had any leftover soup available at such a late hour. The employee that took my hour told me that they will gladly serve me and make anything. I did not cease to apologize and he insisted that its ok, and that they closed until 10pm. I ordered my meal to go and sat to wait for it to come out. The manager kindly offered the complimentary ice cream lwhile I waited!! I have not last experienced such kindness in a very long time. There was no tip jar availAble and the employee told me he couldn't accept tips so this is the next best way to express my gratitude for making my life easier tonight with a warm soup and sandwich to take home. I'm very disappointed with the service that I received today at Jason's Deli #191 located in 2217 Midtown Lane Fort Worth Texas. I did not see why it was so hard to make a Muffaletta sandwich manager special both with turkey and the olive sauce one with very light olive sauce. When I took the sandwich back to show the manager after remading one sandwich it was half cooked and the best I could do is to put the olive sauce in a container I guess they don't know how to put light sauce on the sandwich very poor service. Apparently this location hires people that help customer's based off of looks. The audacity to tell a customer that he helped the other customer first (that came in afterwards) because she's prettier and younger? Then to serve the customer, he said is "ugly and old" in her face, with the same gloves he had on when he went outside? Wow!!!! I am really amazed by this. I have worked in the restaurant industry when I was younger, and every customer was important to me.
