I ordered a bowl with all of the below toppings....why on EARTH did they put none of them??? I got the sauce and grains and lettuce....thats it. I'm so upset. Yall need to seriously fix this issue- way too expensive for you to do something like this.

I love Cava but unfortunately, this location has been more misses than hits for me. My typical order is a bowl with rice, lentils, falafel & veggies with a side of pita chips. Sadly, my most recent visit yielded a totally inedible meal. My pita chips were burnt. The lentils in my bowl were severely undercooked that they were crunchy like small pebbles. I nearly hurt my teeth biting down on a spoonful! Unable to salvage anything from my meal, I tried calling the location for a week, as I don't live super close to this location, to address the issue but have not been able to get through. Regrettably, I'll have to cross this off my go-to list whenever I'm in the area.

So happy for this new location of cava!!! Feel good food that tastes amazing, is fast, and high quality ingredients! Love all the toppings that make this bowl unique every time and the care to prepping ingredients freshly and cooking veggies and meat well! I loved the cooked veggies and spicy chicken! Also love the side pita with the garlic dressing a lot(an invention my sister came up with and we all get every time now). The manager Brett was attentive and welcoming to my family and the servers were extremely friendly and nice! Great size portion and good bang for your buck! Highly recommend!! read more

I went on 3/18 Monday around 4:30 and it was so yummy and a great experience overall! The service was great! They were patient with us being there for the first time! Also it's like chipotle but in my opinion better, and same time/ fast paced. So will come back!! Also had multiple open parking spots which is nice for being on 7th street. read more

The service is the worst service I've ever had in my life. The employees are very slow. They roll your eyes at you when you ask a question or simply ignore you. I order a meal online for it to be ready 30 mins after I ordered it and when I got there, I had to wait an extra 25 mins. That's unexceptable. And there were 3 other infront waiting longer. They were attending the walking before any of the online orders. I genuine love this food but will never go back because of the staff and it's a shame. read more

Someone needs to teach them how to cook rice. As I went in today, there was only one option of rice available and it looked as if there was a mixture of hard rice and actual cooked rice. I don't understand how a place that makes bowls with a rice base doesn't know how to actually cook the rice. I love Cava but this location is subpar. read more

Stopped in for the 1st time. I've been wanting to try for a while. When my family arrived, we were the ONLY customers inside. We reviewed the menu for 2 to 3 minutes. This ENTIRE TIME, not one on the 7 employees behind the counter, could be courteous enough to say "hi" "welcome to cava" or "do you have questions?" We went to this location because we were in the area. I guess I'll try one closer to home. I hope that team has some customer service training. I'd like to actually order something read more

My wife and I came in to have dinner. She ordered the chicken pita and I ordered the steak. They made hers and started to make mine. When the worker looked at the steak they realized they didn't have enough. They scooped out the dredges of the leftover steak and juice, added it to the pita bread. I asked if more steak could be made. The person in the back said they would not make more steak as they were cooking other food. They offed to just add some different type of meat but it already was not looking appealing and they didn't seem to be concerned at all with fixing the situation. We just cancelled my sandwich and paid the $17 for my wife's pita. I watched her eat it and she said it was "fine". On the plus side, it wasn't busy at all and there was plenty of seating. The place was clean, except for the bathroom. I suppose it being so late (6:45 PM) and them wanting to get a jump on closing because it was only a short 3 hours later, it is reasonable that they didn't want to make more steak. There looks like an interesting pizza place next door. I would maybe give that a shot instead. read more

Selena was my associate and was so kind as soon as I walked in! She gave me enough portions and I didn't have to worry about her not knowing what to put in my bowl! You can tell Selena likes what she does! Love this new location close to my home! Only thing I would add is MIRRORS in the bathroom. I love cava normally and perhaps my not so great experience was due to visiting on a weekday right after the holidays when the store wasn't busy and so the food may have been sitting out. The chicken had an aftertaste and I got sick later that night. The staff was very friendly though and generous with the portions. Unfortantely, I visited on an off day. read more

This was our first visit to this new location. (On West 7th). This new location was a thousand times better than the Waterside store! The West 7th store was cleaner, friendlier, and all around a wonderful experience. The manager and staff were so kind and the restaurant was clean. We will never again go to the Cava at Waterside. I initially declined, but he smiled and said he'd only pour me half a cup. That small act of kindness and hospitality genuinely sold me on this place. The restaurant was clean, quiet, welcoming, and smelled incredible. And yes, absolutely try the tea. It was a custom Earl Grey blend made specifically for them, and it was fantastic. When I got home, I was surprised by how generous the portions were for the price. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully balanced. The spices were used perfectly, the produce tasted fresh, and the food even held its temperature well by the time I got home. I've only been here once so far, but I already plan on becoming a regular, probably at least once a week. Y'all are doing an amazing job, and I'm really glad I found this place.

Lamb can easily turn dry or overly gamey if not handled right, but this was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor even when cooked well done, exactly how a good shish kebab should be. I skipped dessert this time, though they offer a few options, and I noticed what appeared to be a buffet setup, which I'm curious to try next. Overall, a solid, well executed Mediterranean meal. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

The rest of the table was equally thrilled with their choices, including the French Dip (loaded with caramelized onions, provolone, and horseradish-garlic aioli on a baguette with a stellar au jus) and the crisp Steak Cobb salad. The truffle fries were a massive hit and a frequent topic of conversation around the table, and even the fountain Diet Coke was perfectly calibrated. I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention the monster rolls brought out for the table--they are giant, incredibly airy, golden popovers served with a spectacular rosemary honey butter that steals the show before the main course even arrives. For breakfast, I wanted to stay on the healthier side and ordered the Sinclair Breakfast with chicken sausage. The sausage delivered incredible flavor with a perfect, distinct peppery bite. The plate was beautifully balanced with delicate microgreens, and the breakfast potatoes were a total standout--perfectly executed with a great outer char and deep flavor. A quick note on seating: the patio is lovely in theory, with the optional open windows and a breezy feel, but the chairs are not winning any comfort awards. Inside booths are the move. Also worth noting, this is Fort Worth, and once the thermometer hits triple digits, the patio conversation ends itself if the windows are open. Plan accordingly. Malai starts every table with steamed sticky rice and an eggplant dip, which is a charming little ritual and a genuinely good one. We also kicked things off with the Edamame, a heads up on the heat level there, and the Fried Imperial Rolls, filled with ground pork and shrimp and served with a sesame soy sauce. Fair warning: these do not photograph well and arrive at the table looking a little shy. Don't be fooled. They're flavorful, subtly spicy, and well worth ordering. For entrees, we tried the Basil Vegetable Fried Rice two ways, one vegan and one with chicken. The vegan version was a genuine surprise, with vegetables cooked just right and a flavor that didn't need the chicken to make its case. The mushrooms, however, had the texture of something you'd find in a hardware store. Chew at your own risk. The Green Curry, meanwhile, was a case of too much of a good thing. The curry was so heavy-handed it drowned everything underneath it. Sometimes restraint is a virtue. Save room for the Banana Pot de Crème. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a graceful finish to the meal. The service at Malai is enthusiastic, and I do mean enthusiastic. The staff works as a team, all smiles, attentive, always nearby. Occasionally a little too nearby. More than once a plate nearly disappeared before we were done with it. It's a small complaint, and honestly a far better problem than the alternative. They're warm, cheerful, and clearly enjoy what they do, which goes a long way. Portions are generous, so order a few dishes and share the wealth. For a lunch stop between shops, Malai Kitchen punches well above its weight.

There are lots of burger options to choose from, so there's something for just about everyone. One suggestion would be to add a dedicated toppings section to the menu. When building your own burger, it's difficult to know all of the available topping choices. The only downside to our visit was that there was a very large dog dining inside the restaurant. The staff allowed the dog's water bowl to be placed on the table, and while the dog remained on a leash, several employees stopped to pet it before returning to refill drinks, deliver food, or check on guests. That wasn't something I was comfortable with and took away from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

Overall Teddy Wong's is highly recommended by this yelper and I must try for anyone that loves great food and service! We'll definitely be back!

Today, I dined at CAVA, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant. I opted for a bowl, but unfortunately, the wait for my order was a bit slower than expected. To my disappointment, they ran out of brown rice and the alternative they offered looked unappetizing, almost as if it had gone bad so we waited for them to make more. The customer service was not exceptional, although it wasn't the worst either. Despite these shortcomings, I must say that I did enjoy the food overall. The flavors and ingredients were fresh.
