This place is absolutely a gem. Ambiance was amazing. Food was amazing along with the friendly staff. Today was the first time at Cava. I am literally amazed. The food was absolutely amazing, everything was high quality, starting from salads to meats even the special fountain drinks was delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff, squeaky clean tables and great location with large parking lot. Manager Halil assisted us with our orders, he was very friendly and had a wide knowledge of the food. I've progressively become more addicted to CAVA in the last month and am appreciative of fantastic guest service by their employees, Angel and Sam to name a couple, but the whole team seems to do a great job. I'm obsessed with cava no matter the location but I am going out of my way to review this location and give a huge shoutout to an employee there, Angel! Every time I come to this location I'm lucky enough to be there when Angel is on shift. I swear Angel works so hard and the amount of work of 8 employees and still always provides exceptional, thorough, and beyond satisfactory service. It's not often that I encounter a person who seems truly happy to engage with customers in the food service industry, but he really stood out today, recommending that my husband add more vegetables to his bowl was the highlight! Service was great, fast, food looked fresh. Unfortunately it just tasted too salty. This must be the new thing, as I recently went to another "new" (to me) Mediterranean restaurant in Ashland, and it was the same thing. Menu selections sounded delicious, but all I could taste was the salt. I go to other really great Greek/Mediterranean restaurants, and the food that comprises the dishes is actually the first thing you taste - rather than salt I am going to try it again, but if salt is still the main taste I get, I won't be back. read more

Ever reluctantly try a new place for food? I did. I decided to try Cava in Framingham. I chose "harissa bowl" and now I am kicking myself for not going sooner. The bowl is packed with fresh and delicious food (and really tasty). The sauces were flavorful too ( was given a garlic sauce to take with me in a little cup - yum!) It is keto friendly too. (maybe one day! ) I came back today determined to try a new dish, but I am now an official fan of the harissa bowl and re-ordered it. Halil, the general manager, is great. He is helpful, and really listens to the customer. Thank you Halil! You can sit outside. The inside is also great, with many tables available for a sit-down alone or with friends. And did I mention the beverages? I went with the berry lavender drink (it tastes as nice as it sounds!). I am glad I took a chance, and this will be a place I will go to often. Food is delicious, service is horrible. Perhaps Cava is a victim of its own success. The staff is completely overwhelmed. Ordered on the app and waited longer for my order than people who walked in. The guy in front of me told one of the workers he had been waiting 20 minutes for an app order and she went off on him completely and had to be calmed down by another worker.
