To be completely transparent, we tried this location during one of their 'soft opening' free meal events, however, this Review is NOT based on the price of the meal ticket.. This location is brand new, so of course, it was clean and inviting. The employees were enthusiastic, polite and helpful when it came to menu selection information ("That can be spicy!") Now for the food: I decided on a mixture of Greens and Grains: I chose Arugula, Romaine and Spinach with Brown Basmati Rice, next the Dips and Spreads, which you can choose up to3, but I opted for just Roasted Red Pepper hummus and Eggplant and Red Pepper dip, followed by Proteins, where I selected the half and half option: Falafel and Harissa Honey Chicken, then onto Toppings: Avocado and Fire Roasted Corn and lastly, a choice of Dressings: Greek Vinaigrette suited me fine... The Greens were fresh and rice was cooked to perfection. The RP hummus was good, while the Eggplant and Red Pepper dip was outstanding! The first time I ever tried falafel was 10 yrs ago...it was at one of the top-rated restaurants, in Paris...I have been trying to find an equal ever since...I may have found it! Seriously, these were delightful to the taste buds--No fried taste, no overbearing tahini, no bland chickpea, just a great combination of ingredients! Opa! Although we were forewarned the Harissa Honey Chicken might be spicy it was actually a wonderful, satisfying ever-so-slight kick given to chicken that was tender and flavorful. Lastly, I can't say enough about the Fire Roasted Corn--It was sweet with an incredible grilled flavor...I only wish I would've asked for more‍... My S.O had a Grilled Chicken pita filled with a multitude of different choices...His take? He LOVED everything in it! His only complaint is that they only serve those "natural" sodas (water is better for him, anyway!) We ate out on the patio, where the tables were socially distanced and we enjoyed this incredible culinary experience under the shade of an umbrella. Your staff was amazing even at 930pm when I popped in to grab a Togo dinner for my fam and they treated us like they just opened for the day. This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I recently moved to the area, and were missing a local Lebanese restaurant from our previous city when we stumbled upon this place. It was a little overwhelming the first time I created my bowl, as there are so many options and I wasn't exactly sure how it's all going to come together. Fear not, it's hard to screw it up- everything tastes delicious in any combination. Chicken is my choice of protein, and I love that I can get roasted veggies and pickled onions in my bowl. The tzatziki sauce and red pepper hummus are both equally delicious (even more so when paired with their baked potatoes chips). And most importantly: their app makes customizing your bowl with ridiculously easy (I hate when apps are confusing and cumbersome). My husband and I are now completely addicted and have Cava at least once a week. Try it! read more

Yeah I'm done with this place. Let me start by saying that I love the Cava brand. The Colorado Blvd location is great. The food itself is usually pretty good. There are healthy options. When this location opened up I was eating here once a week and very satisfied. But something happened last fall (I'm not alone on this - see the other many reviews starting around Sept 2021) that made this place go downhill. Maybe it was COVID related. Maybe the place got too popular. But wait times became absurd. Portions got smaller. Service got worse. In November of 2021, I quit going after waiting an hour past my online pickup time. Today I went back for the first time since last fall. The despite placing the order way in advance (10am on the app for an 1130am pickup) the order was late. Further, they didn't have the vegetables I had ordered because of shipping issues. If vegetables weren't available, I shouldn't have been able to choose them on the app. They substituted sweet potatoes, which I don't like. I would have cancelled the order if I had been told they didn't have vegetables. Serves me right for going back. Good bye and good riddance. read more

I like their food but this is unacceptable. No chicken, little to no rice or lettuce. I paid like $22 for all this food and got way less than what my girlfriend received, and apparently the store can't give refunds. Very disappointed because their food is good but this not the way to treat a customer. Cannot recommend! read more

It had been several months since my husband and I had gotten a meal from Cava in Highlands Ranch. Like many business, it took a hit in many areas due to the pandemic. But we missed it and decided to give it a try again. It was a great decision! The facilities were clean and orderly. The staff was tidy and pleasant, quite friendly and helpful. All advertised food products were in stock! (On previous visits, there were no falafels or occasionally no pitas.) We enjoyed a delicious meal at a local restaurant. Highly recommend! Never order online if you want your food in a timely manner. I just picked up the 4th order in a row that was 10 minutes or more beyond due time. Since i don't pick the 15 minute increments, i usually just go with what time is given. Today, as usual, I watched 6 orders put in and made before mine, which was ordered 25-30 minutes before, before they finally acknowledged me and got me my order. Had a friend in from out of town and she was in the mood for Mediterranean. Decided to try CAVA cause the reviews and food both looked promising, however, I have to say it was disappointing. Food was stone cold when we got it (at 6:30 pm dinner rush time) and the vegetables were undercooked yet had a burnt flavor. Overall, pretty disappointed in the experience and that one of our dinners was wasted on this place. I even had texted my mom excited before, we frequent the area so I thought it might become a regular place of ours... but I'm not sure I'm willing to give it another chance. read more

Mediterranean is usually safe and workable for someone with wheat sensitivities but this place is the exception. Almost everything had some wheat in it. The lentil tabouleh is safe but the falafel has wheat in it. Plus the only chicken option is dark meat so really they have very few options and do not cater to any sensitivities. It's too bad this took over the space doe Zoe's which we could work around dietary restrictions. read more

I went here with my team and we thoroughly enjoyed it! They have options where you can select a sandwich or salad or create your own. I created my own salad! I got the regular chicken and lemon honey. My teammate warned me that the lemon honey might be spicy and it does have a kick to it but when it's meshed with other ingredients then it is not bad. I usually go to the Colorado location but since I was on this side of town I figured I would come to this one. Big mistake. They were out of nearly everything. They had very few topping available, the lady in front of me ordered for her kids and they were out of kids items, they had no sweet potatoes which is a staple for vegetarians at cava. Overall the line looked very dirty and the lack of items ensured that I drive the extra to the Colorado location. read more

Bad experience our first time and customer service was bad... they also didn't know much about the food and didn't answer questions as they didn't know or seem to want to know. Second and third time have been great! Figured out what to order and now we are obsessed. Hard to go in for the first time and not know what to order... they should really educate their employees. Start with a pita, grain, green or combo bowl and build with delicious choices from there. Options are many and flavors are amazing! Multiple dips/spreads, veg, protein, toppings and sauces. We particularly enjoyed the crazy feta, harissa (just spicy enough but oh so much flavor!) and hummus. The chicken was great as were the roasted veg. All in our party were disappointed in the falafel - very soft and mushy inside, no crispiness to the outside. Toppings included a marinated corn, delicious kalamata olives, pickled onions, feta, tomatoes and cucumbers - the list goes on. We've had several good experiences at this location but today was unfortunately not one of them. We ordered takeout and the food arrived smashed and soggy. The sauce was everywhere...outside the pita, leaking from the wrapper, etc. The end result is completely unappealing and inedible. Both pitas arrived the same way. When this place first opened, we tried it because of the fresh food options and the gluten free menu. We were very impressed and the food was amazing. I wish I could say that now. We went to pick up food today and it was terrible. Only 3 workers present. One of them was actually doing something and the other 2 were in the back doing nothing. Your employees are saying that your practically out of everything when it's obvious that there is no effort to start making food for the dinner rush. And where is the manger to watch what these kids are doing? Terrible service. I don't see you staying in business much longer, and that's too bad because we really enjoy your food. I LOVE this restaurant, it's probably my favorite place to eat! I usually get the kids mini pita because I don't eat a lot of food and get the grilled chicken with shredded feta, pickled onions and rice. For my sauces I get tzatziki and Greek vinaigrette. The tzatziki was I guess ok but their vinaigrette is the best! Tastes great with my pita! The staff there was also nice and weren't snotty or rude! :) read more
