Ever since Quizno's went the way of the sub dodo, I found it hard to get a toasted sub that felt worth it. Potbelly heard my pleas, came to me in a dream, and proceed to yell its coordinates into my dome. Then I arrived, a clean, rustic eatery awaited me with smells of toasted vread and a cheesey soup. It was fate in which I indulged in. First and foremost; The place is basically what I wanted from a toasted sub place for many years, and they got to my order with the quickness. The food got to me piping hot and ready. A classic meatball sub to test this joint out works like it always does, cannot go wrong. And with that and the juices they had on tap, they made it clear I need to come back.

We enjoyed eating at Potbelly in Illinois, so I was pleased to see one in Colorado. We were on our way to Ikea and decided to stop in for lunch. The interior looked familiar and relaxed, just like I remembered. I ordered the skinny roast beef sandwich with blue cheese and their vegetable soup. I opted not to have any other toppings added to the sandwich though there were many I could have chosen. Every time I go, I'm tempted to get a milkshake but again I didn't. Though I did make a last minute grab of one of their chocolate chip brownies that was at the register. The food was delicious and my memories of warm, comforting meals at Potbelly remain.

8/10/25- I got the medium size and the overall quality to price was not worth it. The chicken salad was very bland and so dry it sucked the moisture out of your mouth. Even having them add mayo and their garlic sauce to it didn't help because the base chicken salad was a disaster. I don't know if they make the chicken salad in house or get it already made, but this chicken salad needs some real help. The meal deal is also not worth it. They only have one brand of chips, lots of different flavors, but all the different chips for this brand are not good and the bags barely have a 3rd of the bag filled with chips. Also we had a hard time finding a clean table and had to clean one ourselves. I've had better experiences at different locations in the past, but it's been at least 5 years since I have been to one. I remember the food being good and a good price for the quality, but that doesn't seem to be the case now.

This was my first time eating at a Potbelly. I was happy with our toasted sandwiches and service was fairly quick. Meat and cheese are toasted and then toppings are put on the sandwich. One of my pet peeves at restaurants, stores, etc is when no one acknowledges me and just stares at me until I order or pay ... just looking for a simple hello or acknowledgement - nothing formal. When it was our turn to order the guy just stared at us until we finally started to order. He exchanged no words ... the guy who finished our sandwiches was more pleasant. Since it was our first time here, their customer service didn't give us the best first impression.

I've always wondered about PB. Their name sounds delicious! I went for their TKY with broccoli cheddar soup. It's a very good combo on a toasted bread. Their skinny is a great option if you're not that hungry. The soup was not bad. It's comfort food personified. Meaning you don't worry about the fat or calorie content. Capiche? Clean place, awesome menu options already thought out for you. Nice-especially if its the first time you landed in one of their locations. Tip: place your order with the guy making the sandwiches not at the cash register. If you didn't do this kindly don't cut in front of people who are more observant than you. Or you will get your very own Colombian Tie.

My ham sandwich was pretty good, the service didn't rock but there was only two employees working so I'm guessing they were exhausted.

My first stop left me less then impressed. My pizza mania appears to look more like a glorified hot pocket. With a name like Potbelly I would think it would be a bit more. I got the regular sandwhich. I noticed him take 1 meatball and break it into 4 pieces. I did a mental..what the hell was that? But being a first time I waited. Then I had requested no Mushroom, luckily I was paying attention, he went in and grabbed a handfull. No mushrooms I repeated quickly. In to the oven thing and down the line I went. I noticed a sign..don't lean it's not attached. This is what the raised counter said that they give you your sandwhich on. I notice you've been open a few months...FIX IT! The last little treat was listening to whom I think was the store manager tell the high school aged girl ahead of me to let all her friends know they were hiring for the summer and really needed people. Then walk away when I tried to pay for my sandwhich because the several people behind the counter couldn't seem to get a to go order together. Yes, it appears they do need help. With a few things.....

The food is "meh," but totally overpriced. That's really all I have to say about it. I think I prefer Subway.

The service is a bit slow and its a more seat yourself and then they come to you with menus. So don't awkwardly stand there forever. The ambiance is super bright, and pretty mellow and quiet. My husband and I can never decide what to get so we opted for Chefs Tasting menu. Its $35 per person and everyone at the table has to participate. The soup was okay. It had a nice spicy kick. The kale chatt was interesting and crispy. Honestly I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Urban Cauliflower had a great flavor, kinda mushy though, but still balancer out. The tandoori chicken was tender and honestly wish it was bigger. The shrimp coconut curry was my least favorite. Just not a good combo for me. Lentils were hearty and had a cumin flavor. Goat and Lamb curry were very similar I could barely pull it apart. The butter chicken was our favorite. Garlic Nann you could eat on its own, Onion Nann always great but needed a dipper. Overall I liked it, but it was pricey for something I didnt love. Great start but onto the next :)
