I ordered my food online for pick up. The presentation wasn't the best, the avocados were too brown. But overall the taste was nice, no complaints there. When I visit in person the service is always great.

They were nice enough to give kids meals we not kids so that was nice . They don't give extra portions. They're really strict about that. They got 1 star off. Because they took off the sweet potato and I really wanted to try it. The kids meals was like seven dollars a think more or less I don't remember it was more because I got lamb so I charge a lot of extra for lamb. It was delicious. everything was good. I wish I would've got pita bread instead of a chip. We got the creamy garlic sauce and the spicy tomato paste like sauce

Only had CAVA in Los Angeles. But I moved to Houston and thought my bowl was smaller than what I had before! Normally I would have left overs. But not this time. Idk if I was extra hungry or what. But the quality of the food was still really nice. Will return

I tried Cava for the first time today, and honestly, I don't see the hype. It's basically a Mediterranean version of Chipotle, but with higher prices and smaller portions. I ordered the Chicken & Rice Bowl and the Spicy Lamb & Avocado Bowl, and the total came out to $33--which is just ridiculous for what I got. Despite adding a good amount of toppings, both bowls were noticeably underfilled, and the sauce cups were only half full. Before leaving, I checked my bag and saw only one fork. When I asked the cashier for another, he insisted he had put two in the bag. I looked again--still just one. I even double-checked at home, and there was never a second fork. Not sure why he felt the need to argue over something so small--it's a fork, not money out of his pocket. As for the food itself, it was fresh and tasted good, but it wasn't exceptional--definitely not worth the "sit-down restaurant" pricing they seem to be aiming for. Cava is trying to come off as an upscale fast-casual spot, but at the end of the day, it's just overpriced bowls with skimpy portions. I won't be in a hurry to go back.

Make your own bowl. I chose to make a veggie bowl.

This will be my third time visiting Cava. I tried Cava for the first time a few months ago, I wanted to see what all the hype was. I am a person that enjoys making her own bowls. I love the fact that I can customize it anyway that I like. When I visited the first two times, I made a bowl with veggies, chicken, extra tzatziki sauce, and the garlic ranch pita. It was divine both times. When I was done, I was full but not bloated. Fast forward to today 12/30/2024. I decided to get a veggie bowl, and it was better than the chicken. I thoroughly enjoy coming to Cava, I will only come through every couple months so that I don't get worn out with it. The service is fast even when there is a long line. For now, this particular Cava receives an 8/10

LET ME JUST START OFF BY SAYING S/O THE EMPLOYEE NAMED BRYCE. This was my first time going into Cava and I was HANGRY which was visible in my face & demeanor. Yet, Bryce was still very kind, patient, and understanding with me as he briefly educated me on the flavor profiles. It wasn't HIS fault that I was hangry anyway so - he didn't deserve any backlash. Long story short - thank you Bryce. I would come back to cava again because of YOU! Keep up the great work! This bowl hit the spot I hadn't had a meal in 24 hours!

Not the best Mediterranean food to have, it's overpriced for this cuisine. The service is nice, it's a normal fast food place, you just make your own bowl. There's nothing that's wowing about this place it is just average.

Cava has the Chipotle concept of going through a line and picking out what you want in your bowl/wrap. There's plenty of grains/rice, salad, meats, toppings, sauces and etc The price is a little higher than Chipotle (I paid $13). The meat here is well seasoned and all the sauces are flavorful. This location was clean and had plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. I usually get the Greek chicken wrap or make my own bowl.

Absolutely the best place to get Mediterranean food. Yes it's fast food, and Yes it's a chain restaurant. But at the end of the day, the food is amazing. The set up is very similar to chipotle's , where you choose your main (bowl/wraps). Then you have your toppings and dressings to choose from. If you want to simply your choices, there are several custom made meals already. Also I can't forget how friendly the employees were. Every single one of them was friendly and courteous.

All 3 meals were really flavorful, good quality, really well-seasoned, very juicy and so delicious. The gyros and burger are without question imo the best in TX. Ekko's and Nick The Greek are 2nd n 3rd for Greek food for me. I always got the gyros sandwich as opposed to the plate before which is odd bc I always prefer meat plates over sandwich form in other foods like bbq, steak, etc. The meat pieces were all really tasty and had some slight char to them too. The taziki sauce is always cold, creamy in feel and refreshing with a good yogurt aroma to it. It's a great bonus and the gyros didn't even need it tbh. The tomatoes were nicely refreshing and the exotic, cool center dolma is always a little treat with meals here. The rice and chunky lemon potatoes with my meals were always mild but still great in texture and prep. As I said before; from my experiences in every single Greek cafe, if the taziki sauce is good, the gyros will be too. It's a solid symptom and indicator imo. As for the burger, very rarely are burger places only in TX actually any good for the past 15 years. So many are just average or below lacking seasoning or a great overall flavor. Niko Niko's, Goode Company Hamburgers and TX Hamburger Palace are my top 3 in that order for it. Each different too. The brioche buns were just the right thickness and very soft to make the beef patty stick out well. The patty was so nice in charbroiled taste, saltiness, richness, beefiness and tender in every bite. A good burger doesn't need much in toppings, but cool, refreshing, tomatoes are a must for me and pickles add some tangy crunch too. For steak rare, but for a burger medium to medium rare. I had never seen or heard of their Greek Spaghetti n Meat Sauce before. This was like a Greek Bolognese with a lot of love in its flavor. The noodles were drained, very moist and so soft. I don't like too much cheese, so I took some off, but still like some. The meat sauce gravy itself was really flavorful, savory, fatty enough and had that subtle sweet, warm spice aroma you get in the Greek lasagna. I like to get dessert here sometimes when I have extra room, bc they have some great options like their galaktobourreko, chocolate ganache cake, etc. The service was very welcoming, friendly and efficient on these visits.

The place is new but not recently new, so I was impress that they were still attracting a crowd. The place was packed and busy but the host was still able to seat us immediately. With reservation, of course. Our seat was a banquet seating and when the host directed us to our table, we notice the party seated next to our table had placed all their personal belongings on our seats. We had to ask the host to ask them to remove their personals so that we can sit down. I felt that the host should have done that and not upon our request. Our server was Keamogetswe and she jumped right into explaining the menu since it was our first time. I am used to ordering drinks first and while waiting for our drinks, explore the food menu. That way, we can ask questions about any item we were unfamiliar with on the menu. Anyways, we ordered our food and they came out very fast. For starters, we had the grilled shrimp which was just two shrimps. They were not prawns so the size of the two shrimps for $18 was not worth it to me. We also tried the Rumi's wings. They were average to me. Nothing to brag about. For the main course, we wanted to try several dishes and settle for a family style meal. We had the braised lamb shank, chicken kabob and the Koobideh Kabob. Since all plates came with rice, Keamogetswe suggest we try different rice options which was a great suggestion. So for the rice, we had the Adas, the Baghali and the Shirin. I have to admit that the braised lamb was amazing. The stew it sat in was very flavorful and the meat melted off the bone it came with. The Koobideh was also another favorite of mine. Both, I highly recommend everyone to try. And my favorite rice was the Shirin. As we moved on to dessert, we had the burnt honey & pistachio cake and the persian ice cream sandwich. Both taste great but the persian ice cream sandwich itself was vanilla wafer. Different but it made it easier to eat with your fingers. The weird thing was when the dessert was served to us, so was the check. I am used to us eating dessert or just starting to enjoy dessert before being handed the check. And when they do hand me the check, they would mention that it was no rush and when I am ready to take care of it. But that didn't happen and I decided to get it out of the way so I can just enjoy the dessert. As we were conversing and finishing our drinks, they started to clear our table and even picked up the signed check or tab. It felt like they were hinting us to get up. I feel that if there was a time frame to dine with them, they should have made us aware of it before dinner or when we made reservation like how Toca Madera does. So that made me feel uncomfortable. But this could just be me.
