It may seem small but i ordered curbside pickup on 7/19/26 because I have covid (yes, apparently people are still getting this) and asked if they could leave the order on the hood of my car so no one would breath in my germs. Both the gentleman who brought out my order and Maddie put a smile on my face with their service. I also got home to discover a cookie in the bag that I didn't order... I literally wanted to cry. That sounds super sad but after spending 5 days of isolation in my room, that really cheered me up! I hope the organization knows how lucky they are to have them and this is the kind of service that makes all the difference in the long run!!! The mac and cheese was great, but the rest of items were mid. As seen in the picture, I think they could benefit from changing the presentation of the dishes. For cooking oil type conscious diners ... i wish I was told that the restaurant uses seed oil to cook with rather than advising me during my first visit that their cooking is seed oil free. I had lunch here the whole week before I learnt the truth about the seed oil use. It's a shame because the food is great (less the seed oil). My hubs and I decided to dine here for dinner after a workout and while it was pleasantly peaceful and not too noisy, there were some hiccups during our dining experience. While the restaurant seemingly appeared clean, the half booth had fallen crumbs and were not wiped down very well. On the upside, The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Kebab bowl and while it was really tasty, the food was not fresh. Every time I took a spoonful or a bite, I could feel hardened rice or quinoa that was dry and hard as a rock - almost like tiny pebble textures in each spoonful I took. But I just thought it might've been part of the dish so I didn't say anything until towards th end of the meal because it kept happening over and over again. What was supposed to be a pleasant meal, was very unpleasant. A staff member did apologize and offered us a dessert on the house for the inconvenience...I appreciated that. But for a restaurant that prides itself on greens and healthy food options, the food did not meet my expectations. Just because it was the end of the day doesn't mean dining patrons should be getting the scraps or bottom of the bin food because they don't want to make another batch. Had the rice been cooked properly and not hard, the dish itself was super tasty and delicious! I'd highly recommend requesting extra yogurt sauce on The side. read more

Ordered at the counter, got a number tag, and grabbed a table. There were plenty of seats but seats filled up fast during peak hours. The interior was beautiful and welcoming. The exterior was pretty too. My plate was served to my table. The portion was pretty small, and the raw fish was flavorless and mushy. The quality wasn't there. Always wanted to try this place and finally got to it. Really enjoy the different selections of foods they have to offer. The items were not your normal combination of food but it sounded good. It tasted good too. At first we thought the portions were small but it ended it up beige very fulfilling and I think it's cause of the balance of the food fills you up. The inside is very open but great spot to grab lunch with a friend or go with your family. It can get kind of noisy but Its expected. From start to finish we found the staff to be exemplary and extremely knowledgeable on their menu.Mey was delightful in her excitement over each menu recommendation. The olive oil cake "chef's kiss" muffins were light airy and gluten free which we found was representative of all their desserts. A newish Flower Child in Memorial City. Have been to their Heights and Woodlands spots and have had a decent experience. This spot was extremely busy during lunch hours; I got the steak entree with the sweet potatoes and kung pao cauliflower with some queso and chips as the starter. The chips were the standard store bought chips; quite bland and boring. The queso was fine but definitely a step below Torchy's. My steak pieces were cooked well and slightly under seasoned. The roasted sweet potatoes weren't very roasted and tasted like they were steamed; they were quite soggy. The cauliflower also had a weird flavor which is definitely not a Kung Pao style sauce; a very odd side. Overall, for the price at a health conscious fast casual spot, it's a bit below expectations for me. With all of the associated chains popping up, it's hard to tell if the quality is still there from back when they had fewer stores. read more

One thing I wish I saw was a covering for the patio because Texas heat can get very hot! This location is really big, spacious, light, and very vibrant. It's located in the heart of memorial in Town & Country (behind Snooze!). I've tried the Mother Earth bowl and ancient grains bowl before both are great. I absolutely am obsessed with the chicken enchiladas so that's our go-to item every time! They have a nice array of fountain drinks, kombucha, canned drinks, and water. They make kombucha in house (non-alcoholic). Yesterday we tried their latest batch of peach and matcha kombucha and THAT WAS SO DANG GOOD!!!! Try this place out, it's my staple on the weekends after church with the family, we enjoy this area and so happy to have a flower child closer to us! So glad this location is finally open, because as usual, Flower Child is on point! I came here for dinner around 5:15 and it was pretty empty, but it had picked up a lot by 7 pm. I went with one of my go-tos: the chicken enchiladas. Just as good as always! That creamy sauce contrasted with the fresh veggies on top always makes for a satisfying meal. I will say price wise, this place really gouges you. But I feel like I'm eating "healthier" so maybe that's why they get a pass? Good news and bad news review. First the good news. We've been several times and have enjoyed the food. Tonight I had the special BANG BANG BEEF and it tasted great. BUT THE BAD NEWS is that a significant amount of the meat was either fatty, gristly OR BOTH to the point where I really couldn't eat it without being very careful trying to find the few pieces of meat that were NOT that way. I encourage your management to teach your food prep people not only how to make the food, but to check the ingredients (especially beef) before they get to the preparation stage. At $16.99 I think most people would have given 1 STAR here, but it did taste great :-( PS. When I told my wife what was going on she said she'd had a similar experience with another beef dish at the same location... So I guess in the future we will stay away from beef dishes there. read more

This new restaurant was easy to find amongst all the other businesses within the center and had plenty of surrounding parking. The order counter is to the right once you enter and there are many tables with a seat yourself concept that is casual and relaxed. Flower Child's menu consists of healthy-ish appetizers, salads, bowls, entrees, whole grain wraps, kids meals, drinks and desserts, and even sangria and family meals (build-your-own option too!) I did notice that they encourage customization which I like since I typically sub out certain items if I have a stronger preference for a protein or grain. At times, I enjoy adding more protein to my meal as well, because why not. I had the chance to try a few of their food items on this visit including their Steak Plate (quite tasty and filling, delicious cut of steak, loved the side of kung pao cauliflower and roasted brussel sprouts, only choice was medium for temperature though), Salmon Plate (nicely prepared, also enjoyed being able to choose any 2 sides with it), Yakisoba Noodles (comes with chicken but I asked to sub with tofu, good consistency and veggies mixed in), and Mediterranean Kabob bowl (which is actually a Mediterranean Chicken Kabob bowl, but I requested to have an additional protein; turkey added to the bowl, with summer squash, portobello mushroom, bell pepper, harissa, yogurt sauce, quinoa rice, & greek salad). Unfortunately after adding the additional protein of choice (turkey breast +$3), we were given the bowl with only the turkey in it, and none of the chicken kabob. For drinks, they have bottled sangria (pretty cool), hot or iced teas, and sparkling water/water. Overall, I like this place and the vibes as a casual eatery with a focus on feel good foods. It comes with summer squash, portable of mushroom, bell pepper, harissa, quinoa, rice, yogurt sauce, in a Greek salad. So delicious and probably won't be my go to dish in the future. They offered sangria both red and white. I decided to try the red and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious and refreshing will definitely have it again. Our hostess Mey was amazing and a wealth of knowledgeable. Hannah, one of the managers spent quite a bit of time with us telling us about older locations and all their other sister restaurants around the country. Good healthy eating spot. They have a decent sized menu with wraps, salad, sides, and bowls. I had the Flying Avocado wrap with the side of Kung Pow cauliflower. The wrap came with a small side salad. The wrap itself is pretty large and filled with good ingredients. The cauliflower though, WOW! I loved it and so did all my friends at the table who tried it. Very good roasted and sauteed flavor with nuts. Truly had a Kung Pow flavor. The atmosphere is good energy and that typical new vibe-ish decor. Hard to explain, but you know it when you see it. My meal was $24 and some change. A little more than I wanted to spend for a lunch, but I'm glad I tried it. They have a little patio off the main dining area. The seating is cushion long booths and separate chairs. It was very crowded the day we went. It had only been open for 3 days, so we will see how tings go when they are more settled. Cute place first time here. I ordered the chicken plate and it comes with two sides. I chose the golden smashed potatoes and the broccoli. My food was out in less than five minutes. This sounds like it would be a plus except I'm expecting fresh food cooked to order and I got dry chicken slices in front of me.. I asked the young lady at the counter if they had black tea and she said yes I get over to the drinks and it's passionfruit black tea not the same thing so I'm drinking water for a drink that I've paid for when I could've just brought my water bottle in. I'm only giving three stars because they were super nice and the place is cute and it's a good concept. The broccoli was great. The mashed potatoes were great. The chicken is dry as hell and you can see how dry it is in the photo. I also got a cookie. It looks promising, but I paid $26 with tax and tip for dry chicken. Update after eating the chocolate chip cashew cookie. It is really good. Maybe they should stick to baking. Beware it does have coconut. read more

I FOUND 3 FLYS in my dad's food!!!! my family and i usually doordash food from flower child, but usually it would be delivered from the uptown location and we've never had problems, not in store, nor through doordash. TODAY (06/08/25) my family and i ordered a meal for my dad through doordash, but since the location in town and country is new and closer to our house, it's now our store through DoorDash so when we ordered flower child today, it ordered through that location. unfortunately, when we got my dad's food there were 3 FLYS INSIDE!! their food containers have clear lids, so we were able to see inside and 2 flys were alive and 1 seemed to be dead. it was DISGUSTING!! my dad had just gotten back from a run, so i told him to shower before going to the store and showing them. he got to flower child about 40mins later after our food was delivered and when he got there they check the food and saw the flys. they seemed confused, which could be understanding since im sure they didn't mean to put the flys there intentionally, but they did NOT offer my dad ANY solutions. my dad was so disgusted, he didn't eat the food and he did NOT want food from there either. still, they didn't offer him his money back, let alone a gift card to use at a different location. they were very dismissive of the situation and very uncooperative. my dad went to show them and to warn them to be more careful and mindful while packing their food, because how are you going to miss 3 flys inside the food!?? they should've checked more thoroughly. still, i wanted to bring awareness to this to others and the restaurant. we WILL NOT be going back there. very disappointed. i wish i would've take a video and picture because it was disgusting. read more

I was so excited to have a flower child in my area. I was planning on making it a regular stop. So the first week it opened I grabbed lunch with a friend and got my usual enchiladas. They didn't taste exactly right but I finished them. Then about an hour later my stomach didn't feel quite right. I was very nauseous and called to tell them. The manager acted like I was wrong and said he would call to check on me. A few hours late and then i violently vomited which is usually how E coli hits. Someone didn't wash their hands and made me so sick. So sad to take this off my list . read more
