Interesting "healthy" choice. It's cafeteria style so the food is not fresh but it tastes OK. We got a steak salad, greek salad, and kids meal. The staff are kids who I think try but they are no where near the well oiled machines at Chick Fil-A and In-N-Out. Like they started helping the person behind me after I only ordered one kids meal (thinking I was done already) and forgot to pack my eggplant (which btw was pretty good!). Total was a little over $40. I feel Kebab Shop is WAY better and the price is comparable to Tender Greens which makes their food more fresh so overall prob won't be back again but glad we tried it. read more

This is a great new addition to Woodbury Center and they officially open November 22, 2023! I stopped by for lunch today, just hoping that they would be open. The nice dude outside let me join their soft opening so I got to check out the new location. The interior is bright and spacious with plenty of tables for those dining in. The counters and food prep areas were sparkling clean, just as you would expect from a new operation. I was greeted with friendly service at the counter and had my choice of super fresh ingredients, all constructed neatly into my bowl. I know they're putting in a bit of extra care during their soft opening, but there's something very satisfying about an aesthetically pleasing bowl of food. The honey chicken was juicy and the flavors were spot on. As long as the quality stays on point, this location is going to do very well. If you are looking for a fresh, quick, healthy and flavorful lunch, this is gonna be your best option in Woodbury Center. I'm so glad we finally get something good to eat in here. read more

CAVA - Cava Bowl - Mediterranean Near Me - Irvine, California

First time trying Cava and the only reason I came by here is because I got out of the gym next door. They make Mediterranean style wraps, bowls and salad bowls with your toppings of choice. I was going to order a specialty bowl of their own like the chicken and avocado but they were out of something in every one of the food items so I made my own bowl with brown rice, roasted pepper hummus, crazy feta and tzatziki. For the protein I got honey chicken, and a little bit of everything else for the topping. It was frustrating ordering since the team is very young and no one knows what they are really doing as the guy is talking to his coworker as he is filling my bowl. The presentation was terrible as everything was just scooped and dumped it and I knew at the end my bowl would be like a soup on the bottom because of how they were scooping items into the bowl. The food was slightly bland even with all that mess in there but I could only eat the top half of the bowl and the bottom half was just all juices and liquid from the pickles, and salsa etc. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because you can really make a healthy meal here, but flavor, presentation, and service are all where it failed for me. Management is to blame for as the kids are not aware of their service and standards since there's no manager like figure that would guide them. If there is one, it's probably someone that's young and inexperienced like themselves. read more

Marvin... not a fan. Let me explain. About a week or two ago, I was met with sass and side-eye from Marvin. He was giving attitude to the first guy who had been assisting me on the line, which only made that person's service worse (and I don't blame him!). I was simply trying to redeem a reward using my points. It was my first time using a reward at CAVA, and I didn't realize I had to scan before Marvin rang me up. Right as he told me the total and prompted me to pay, I asked if I could still scan my app to use my reward. He let out a big sigh and started showing attitude toward me and the computer. I've worked a very similar job in a management position, so I understand the stress. I also consider myself a regular here, which is why it's especially disappointing to get this kind of service. Also beggers can't be choosers, but the pita chips are way too salty. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the food is still good, and the girl in the back cooking has really clear skin and seems super nice and most people who work there are nice. I want to give this place a 5 star because it is delicious. However, every time we do an online order, this location always forgets something that is essential to the order.
