This place is my guilty pleasure. I usually grab lunch here if I forget to bring lunch to work. The staff and the food they make are awesome. Sometimes there can be a line out the door, but its worth it. I usually sub out the salad for the mac, and it hits every time. Sometimes I crave this place!!! Literally my favorite healthy place to eat whenever I'm wanting to eat cleaner or dieting! Service is very fast and the food is always consistent and delicious! If you don't like chicken breast, I highly recommend to try it here because the way that they grill it is so good! Or you can do the half and half chicken breast and wagyu beef bowl which is also so good. It's easy to estimate for macros if you track that like I do and they also accommodate you if you don't want salad dressing, no rice, etc! As it is a quick service restaurant, I'd say that there aren't that many places inside to sit and eat but there is a nice outdoor patio area where you can! Finally parking is plentiful but this place does get crowded as Wagyu Meat & Grill is in the middle of an outdoor food court type of thing. My mom and I always order the Salmon plate. It's very delicious. We love the Kale salad that comes with it as well (it's a good thing they sell their dressing, can't get enough of it lol). It's great too that we could get something for our dogs (plain chicken breast) and they really love it as well. At the time of this review, they have 2 locations in Irvine and another in Buena Park. We visited their location off Irvine Center Drive near Sand Canyon Avenue. It can be found nestled in a strip mall between Bay Poke and Grater Grilled Cheese. Their website mentions "superior service", but IMO the staff was friendly enough but I wouldn't say they went above and beyond to ensure a quality dining experience. I ordered the Wagyu Moco because I can't resist a good loco moco. I'm a big eater, so I appreciated the size of the wagyu patty topped with an egg. The side of rice, mac salad and cole slaw served to complement what turned out to be a hearty meal. All in all, it was a good deal for the price and I would be willing to try again in the future. read more

My first time here but my coworkers have ordered here once. From a price point for what I would order, it's 15-20. The salmon was a nice portion, came with rice, I opted for salad and Mac salad. The salad was not my favorite but it was cabbage. I thought the salmon needed a little more favoring but they took the time to make it fresh. Service was not quick but it moved along. Staff was nice. The food is pretty basic - grilled protein, rice and a side of cabbage slaw. I got the chicken, which was fine. It comes without any sauce and you need that sauce to make it more flavorful. The cabbage slaw was downright weird tasting. The dressing is really odd and the cabbage is way too bitter on its own. For the around same price point, I'd rather go to Cava, The Kebab Shop or Sajj Mediterranean (which is in the same mall). read more

My family ordered the wagyu burger, salmon with brown rice and kale, and chicken with white rice. Sadly, the wagyu meat was overcooked and flavorless. We were yearning for higher quality dishes. The service, however, was great. When I mentioned that the salmon wasn't cooked properly because the fish was still slimy when I cut it in half and in some parts transparent, one of the staff promptly addressed it and had it returned to the grill. The fish came back cooked perfectly. Regardless, one turnoff was that one of the staff members kept sneezing, which is a huge turnoff when handling customers food.
