My mom and I always order the Salmon plate. It's very delicious. We love the Kale salad that comes with it as well (it's a good thing they sell their dressing, can't get enough of it lol). The macaroni salad is nice and wet and flavorful. Everything else needs more sauce. It comes with one side of teriyaki style sauce. You should get at least two. My first time here but my coworkers have ordered here once. From a price point for what I would order, it's 15-20. The salmon was a nice portion, came with rice, I opted for salad and Mac salad. At the time of this review, they have 2 locations in Irvine and another in Buena Park. We visited their location off Irvine Center Drive near Sand Canyon Avenue. It can be found nestled in a strip mall between Bay Poke and Grater Grilled Cheese. Their website mentions "superior service", but IMO the staff was friendly enough but I wouldn't say they went above and beyond to ensure a quality dining experience. I ordered the Wagyu Moco because I can't resist a good loco moco. I'm a big eater, so I appreciated the size of the wagyu patty topped with an egg. The side of rice, mac salad and cole slaw served to complement what turned out to be a hearty meal. The food is pretty basic - grilled protein, rice and a side of cabbage slaw. I got the chicken, which was fine. It comes without any sauce and you need that sauce to make it more flavorful. The cabbage slaw was downright weird tasting. The dressing is really odd and the cabbage is way too bitter on its own. For the around same price point, I'd rather go to Cava, The Kebab Shop or Sajj Mediterranean (which is in the same mall). read more

The service, however, was great. When I mentioned that the salmon wasn't cooked properly because the fish was still slimy when I cut it in half and in some parts transparent, one of the staff promptly addressed it and had it returned to the grill. The fish came back cooked perfectly. Regardless, one turnoff was that one of the staff members kept sneezing, which is a huge turnoff when handling customers food. My coworker and I had lunch at Wagyu, which left us extremely disappointed and frustrated. Both of us had signed up for the app and rewards program and received a text coupon for 15% off. When ordering, we specifically told the employee taking our order that we wanted to use the coupon. He informed us that in order to apply it, we had to upsize and purchase the plate instead of the bowl. While this seemed unreasonable, we agreed. However, the way the transaction was handled felt deceptive. When my coworker completed her order, the employee changed registers just as it was my turn, and she later realized that she never received the discount. When it was my turn, I showed him the exact same coupon and ordered the plate as instructed. I even tipped him before paying. My total came out to $25, which immediately felt off. After requesting the receipt via text, I discovered that not only was the coupon not applied, but I was also incorrectly charged an additional $1.75 for sides that are already included with the plate. To make matters worse, as soon as I finished paying, the employee quickly walked away from the register, just as he had done with my coworker -- giving the impression that he was intentionally avoiding accountability. In total, we paid over $50 for two plates that were supposed to be discounted, when your own promotions offer two for $10 each. This is not only misleading, but it also feels like a deliberate attempt by your staff member to prevent us from receiving the discount we were entitled to. Be careful! After talking to multiple other people that have come here for lunch....it's not an uncommon issue and they've had to tell the employee they're being overcharged. Pay attention to your total as they have no receipt unless you explicitly request one! read more
