Brian, should not be a manager. He made every possible excuse as to why he knowingly provided me with a Kids size portion for an adult sized Cava Bowl. If I had not called to complain he would have been okay with making my bowl the way that he did which was barely anything. Excuse 1. That was his fault but he was rushing. Excuse 2. They had a lot of people come in. Excuse 3. He made my bowl ahead of others. Okay, so if you knew all of these elements would make you feel rushed, then just don't make my bowl if it was that difficult of a tasks for you. Do you not know how to calmly work in a fast paced environment and still provide quality service? So this tells me he knowingly put a small portion of everything trying to rush. If headquarters don't start listening to customers complaints on Yelp and Google about how small their portions are being served at this location for $13 they won't be here for the long haul. Take note from Chipotle right next door. They serve fair portions and for $3 less than Cava. People work too hard for CAVA to be stingy with your products. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the number of team members placing rice/pita bread, protein, dressing and other toppings depending on the customer's choice. May there are so many of them that it gets confusing. If the first/second team member failed to communicate what the customer requested then the customer will have to repeat it again to the 3rd team member. Finally, the cashier will ask the customer what's the order. There must be a more productive way to avoid such repetition. Just an observation... read more

The app was not working at the time but I needed the food from here for a digestive system matter so I figured I could go to order verbally. I told the person I had a dietary restriction and he pointed out the sauces that did not have the ingredient specified, so I selected one of those that were recommended. However, despite this, when I started eating it, I discovered that the ingredient still existed in my bowl (due to misunderstanding or cross contamination) and I ended up picking out a pile of dietary restriction contaminated ingredients that I had to feed to another party member that didn't have this dietary restriction. They suggested I complain, but given the fact that I'm nearly mute these days from agoraphobia, this was not an action I could take. An ingredient list of "spices" in view of the menu would keep this from inconveniencing me. Either way, I am sticking to online ordering in case this the recommendation was due to miscommunication of the ingredient I can't eat. read more
