This location is not only unpleasant, but the male workers on this day, were rude. I went in on Mother's Day with my daughter and ordered rice bowl and chicken with cucumbers and humus. I received hardly any rice maybe 3 -4 cucumbers and a few pieces of chicken that was left on the bottom of the tray. When I asked for a bit more the guy said "no" I ate a bit of the pita bread and the crumbles of what they served in the bowl. A child's plate would have been more food!! Great spot, still delicious but portions have gotten smaller Cover Restaurant continues to be one of my go-to places because the food is always flavorful and consistent. The quality hasn't changed at all -- everything still tastes amazing. The only thing I've noticed is that the portions have definitely gotten significantly smaller compared to previous visits. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's noticeable. Also, just a heads up: it gets very busy around 5 PM, so arriving a bit earlier (or later) will give you a much smoother experience. We go to cava twice a week, different locations, and the portions are always consistent. Today, here at this Cava, the portion is half of what we normally get. We definitely did not get what we paid for. When I tried to bring it up to one of the employees he made a comment about when we get half portions of the chicken which the protein was skimpy too but before that the rice and the greens were barely there in both our bowls. AND I actually paid for a full portion of chicken and add on sweet potato and they served it as if I didn't pay for extra. Last weekend we were here, it was fine. We won't be back here especially since we tried to remedy it and bring it up and we just got deer in the headlights basically. To top it off the food was nasty. We came by for dinner last night around 8 pm. It was not crowded at that time with only 3-4 people in line ahead of us. We ordered the CAVA Lamb & Avocado bowl and two custom bowls with rice, greens and salmon and chicken in one and braised lamb in the other. In my braised lamb bowl I asked if I could get some of the braising sauce over my rice and apparently there was no ladle to scoop up any sauce so the guy took a plastic sauce container to do so. I found that quite strange that a restaurant didn't have proper serving utensils? As we sat to eat dinner I noticed that the quantity of the Lamb and Avocado bowl was significantly less than our two custom bowls. My husband finished it quite fast as a result so I shared more of mine with him. The quality of food was mid- nothing to rave about, nothing bad. But as we looked around the restaurant observing everything, the thing that struck all of us was a lack of warmth. There were no smiles from any of the servers or cashiers, just blank, stoic faces as they dished out food- a far cry from the service we have grown to expect with every one of our Chick Fil-A visits! CAVA was very sterile by comparison, reminding me of what it would be like eating in a prison cafeteria. Everyone was just at their stations, in their own little silos, not talking to anyone else, no smiles, no banter, no customer engagement whatsoever, no manager presence to oversee what was happening. The only employee I consistently see working hard and providing excellent customer service is Evan. He often appears to be doing the work of multiple people while other employees are goofing off or not paying attention to guests. Unfortunately, this also seems to include shift leads or managers wearing black polos. The food quality is very inconsistent and seems to depend on the time of day or who is working. This is the only restaurant I've been to that consistently creates its own long lines due to slow service, poor attention to guests, and cutting corners instead of preparing fresh proteins in a timely manner. There have also been many occasions where employees have claimed they were "out" of an item, only for it to be visibly sitting right behind them waiting to be refilled. I've seen this happen with greens, pickled onions, and other vegetables. It often appears to be less of a supply issue and more of a reluctance to take the time to restock items for customers. On my most recent visit, there were 7-8 employees working, yet they still managed to run out of multiple proteins. Evan was the one who went to find more from another area, while the manager appeared unaware of what was happening and was instead joking around with employees who were on their lunch break before returning to work. I've also observed what appears to be poor food-handling practices. Rather than replacing older proteins with fresh batches, employees have added new protein on top of the existing product in the serving pan. This means the older food at the bottom can remain there for an extended period before being served. While I can't say with certainty how long the food has been held, this practice raises concerns about food freshness and safe food handling, especially given that I've gotten sick after eating at this location on more than one occasion. Overall, the food is usually mediocre, and the service is consistently disappointing. If there were another restaurant nearby offering similar food with better quality and service, I would gladly choose it instead. Come here if you're okay with average food and an experience that is just as likely to be frustrating as it is satisfying. read more

I often come to CAVA to get my lunch. I like coming here becuase of their fast casula Mediterranean cuisine. I like their build-your-own bowl and frequently get their grilled chicken or spicy lamb meatballs . You get a choice of sauces and toppings. Everything tastes freshly prepared and the dips, especially the harissa and crazy feta, are standout favorites that pack a punch without overpowering the dish. I like to add power greens and grains as my filler and with the toppings you can customize to your heart's content. I sometimes treat my self and get their pita chips as its quite flavorful and crunchy at the same time. Service is usually fast and friendly, even during peak hours, and the mobile app makes ordering ahead super convenient. The vibe in-store is clean, minimalist, and efficient. read more

I like CAVA but I don't like THIS cava. No one at this locations seems to know how to make any of the items on the menu. They are always out of primary ingredients and spreads. if you order a side dip/sauce for $4.25 don't even get a full sauce container. They are already small containers. I never have these issues at other locations but I have had the same issues here 5 times now. I was surprised how much better I liked this place than Chipotle. Basically the same concept, but Mediterranean as opposed to Mexican (where have I been I know). I really loved the freshness of everything. I got a bowl with saffron rice & arugula with tzatziki, hummus and feta. My protein was the braised lamb shank, which was excellent. Basically topping wise I got everything which I probably should've said no to the stupid broccoli mix which gave me bubbly guts for the next six hours, I hate you broccoli. But everything else was phenomenal. I loved the pickles and pickled onions. That might be a theme that I love all things pickled. Either way this was a very solid lunch. I try to stay away from anything with a lot of seed oils, I know chipotle is full of them. I don't think this place is perfect, but I definitely felt better after than I would in a quick pick up spot and my daughter who accompanying me absolutely wasn't heaven she loved everything she tried in her chicken bowl. You can build your own bowl or plate and the options are great for people with any kind of dietary restrictions or who are looking to eat on the healthier side without having to sacrifice taste or flavor. This location is clean and there is plenty of seating, but it is a bit noisy since their kitchen area is open so you can hear them chopping away and cooking. Ingredients are fresh and prepared on the spot. Prices are decent for the amount you get. Their pita chips are the best! Definitely recommend adding those to your order. Surprised this cava wasn't busy! It's usually busy especially during dinner hours. The place was clean and presentable. The first server that helped me was friendly and professional. However the second server that finished my toppings appeared moody and didn't seemed she wanted to help. She forgot to give me my sauces for my second bowl. It was rushed. Had to knock down my rating. Thanks Owen for the promotional drink! Update: The side dish falafel I got was so crunchy, too fried and overcooked. It was crumbly. This is probably the biggest CAVA location I've been to. Huge dining area, tons of seating & booths as well. I love the open kitchen set up as well. Unfortunately, this location was a disappointment. Around 2pm on a weekday, kitchen was fully staffed & one person was taking care of the entire line & cashier duties. With 4 people in front of me, it took 25 minutes to order. But the saddest part was the food. Grilled chicken bowl with super greens & basmati rice... and it was basically half a serving of greens & a sprinkle of rice & they didn't have some of the toppings, the chicken was almost nonexistent.
