They taxed Me for rice and chicken and five things of chips would love if they were more helpful. If they were better communicating. They were also very slow. We're out of a few things. Well, they were out of like eight things. Besides the point. They weren't moving slow, too, but I just can't get over the fact that rice and chicken and chips are 16 bucks. First, I was saddened to see Zoe's gone. I really enjoyed the zestiness of their food. So we were driving along and after the disappointing comments of no longer seeing Zoe's - my son perked and said you haven't tried CAVA's yet... food is very similar to Zoe's. So after a trip to the gym, we decided on CAVA and let me tell you... what a pleasant surprise! Not only was the food good, but peeps working there were amazing. I often ask staff what they like and go with recommendations! And my tattooed "Amor" friend was more than helpful... it was as if she knew what I liked because everything she recommended ended up in my bowl and it was Mediterranean chipotle Heaven. Prices were a lil- high but they do fill that bowl so your lunch essentially has enough for round 2 or dinner. Place was clean and we really enjoyed it! Anyways, I have been by this location several times, the place is impeccably clean and the food is good. I love their drinks the pineapple mint one is so yummy! I find that ordering on the app and doing the drive thru window pickup is so helpful, food is ready at the exact time stated in the app and it's hot. I will never not order in advance unless I have time to go in and sit at the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the kids meal, for $7 they get a little tray as pictured and they get half a pita with the protein of their choice, 2 toppings, 2 dressings, one veggie, one dip and either pita chips or carrots, with a drink. For first timers I'd definitely suggest coming before or after lunch as lunch time from my experience is very busy. Staff is typically always helpful with suggestions, too! Build your own bowl is the way to go but even if you choose one of their bowls/items that they put together you choose all the things you do & don't want. I feel like you can't ever go wrong here. You're healthier version of Chipotle! I recently visited Cava during their soft opening in which they gave out free meals to the public for certain timeslots during the day. Upon getting to the restaurant, I'm particularly familiar with the traffic in this area and it's often very busy especially located right next-door to Chick-fil-A. For a better/less-stressful traffic option drive to the Target parking lot and park in the far back regions closer to Cava. It's better and more manageable to walk verses fighting traffic on San Jose Blvd. Upon walking into the restaurant it reminded me a lot of Chipotle. As you walk up to the counter you have your choice of Rice or legumes. And then your selection of different types of meats and greens as well as an assortment of many different Greek Mediterranean toppings to add to your bowl or Gyro. I did really enjoy the many different flavored teas they had a great selection at that. Something that not a lot of Mediterranean places have. I greatly enjoyed the "cucumber mint" drink it was very vibrant and bright. A nice treat to have during the hot Florida summer months. They also have a plethora of seating in many different areas both inside and outside of the restaurant which is also a nice option to have. The only thing that was a little offputting to me was the rice!. It isn't really a Mediterranean type of food. Hence why it really reminded me of chipotle but everything healthier. **Overall, I will definitely come back to this place again to try them out. There's a similar Mediterranean place over in Durbin called "Natural Greens". That definitely has a one up on this place just given the more authentic Mediterranean Greek style food that they serve is less carb based as for the food prices both are exactly the same. We enjoy CAVA's at the St. Augustine Rd. location. However, the San Jose Blvd. location in Mandarin in our opinion is not managed very well, and the manager that waited on us on Saturday, January 4th, was unfriendly and somewhat rude. The cashier didn't appear to be trained to answer a simple question regarding rewards and couldn't answer my question. The manager could not either, resulting in an awkward situation, leaving me with two different answers regarding my rewards. I have been there several times before, and they either are out of the food I usually choose and/or the service and attitudes of some of the employees are that of dissatisfied employees. Sad that location is that way because if I want CAVA's food, I will be driving about 9 miles out of my way to the other location. Never had any issues with food or service there, and quite frankly, we enjoyed Zoe's more before it was changed to CAVA. After our experience at the Mandarin CAVA, I will never return there nor will I recommend them. read more

I had the most wonderful experience here at Cava over the weekend, when I came in with some friends to eat. The service was excellent and was treated very well and felt so welcomed. Haley was so friendly and such a breath of fresh air as she helped me with everything that I needed. The food was amazing! I had to thank the chef, Matt as well.
