I've come here now a couple of times with the fam and it's a cool spot! If you like hot pot & BBQ then you'll like this place! They have many options to choose from in terms of different meats, greens, sushi, desserts, noodles, and more. How it works is you choose the soup of choice to cook the things on and then you go up and fill your place with what you want to cook. You can add things to the soup or on the hot pot to cook. They also have sushi and dumplings already made to eat. I've tried the traditional soup and the tom yum I believe it's called. I like the tom yum better because it has more flavor. You are cooking your own stuff so make sure it's done lol! Both servers both times were nice and attentive in changing out the stove you cook on and taking your dirty plates. Cool experience for sure!

What a place! I have to say one thing bad to say about this place....this place made me ate too damn much! That's a good feeling when you're leaving a restaurant full. This place was absolutely amazing. This is all you can eat buffet and it's not like all the other buffet. This place requires you to get your own food and cook your own food. The crabs were meaty and delicious. Oysters on the half shell are fresh and plump. I lost count how many grilled rib eye steak I had. My waitress was very nice and friendly. She was constantly checking up on us and refilling our drinks. Definitely check out this place if you're interested. Happy eating!

Soooo many options for honestly a pretty cheap price for what it is. You get hot pot and bbq for around $35 per person, when I feel like thats usually the price for only one of those options. In terms of food they have so many options too. For hotpot, for bbq, for dessert, for cooked food, for even sushi, they kind of cover everything. The quality is pretty decent too! The raw sushi was alright, and I didn't fully trust the raw bar of oysters, but everything else was pretty up there.

A friend and I came here for dinner tonight because we decided we wanted to try something that neither of us have ever had. Upon arrival they said it would be a 20 minute wait, an hour later we finally got a table. I think the only reason why we didn't leave is because by the time we would've left after waiting a half an hour we would've already had a table so we just stuck it out. What disappointed me was the abundance of seafood and a minimalization of non-seafood. As a person who's highly allergic to seafood, I was hoping that they would've had some things on the appetizer bar besides spring rolls or chicken nuggets. They did not have vegetarian sushi, which was a huge disappointment and they only had one small thing of tofu. The service was OK nothing to ride home about. They were busy give them that. The bar looked plentiful and the atmosphere was nice. It was inviting however given the cost ($36 per person) I really don't think it was worth the value unless you were a seafood lover.

This place is like a smorgasbord of all types of yummy stuff! lol It's Korean BBQ, Chinese apps, hot pot make your own soup, noodles, rice, desserts, Like you can't leave here hungry. I started with the apps area, crab rangoons, egg rolls, and a few different sushi's! I gotta say I couldn't stop eating the sushi it was so good, I couldn't have just filled up on these! Then moved on to the bbq tons of different meats, veggies, noodles, rice. My favorite are the marinated meats, bulogi beef or chicken, so good! I still haven't mastered the soups yet but I'll keep trying, lol Also loved the dessert area! Fruits, cakes, pudding, then dessert soup!? Sago!? its like coconut soup with tapioca balls in it, weird in a good way! Service was fast and there to help, price about $35 per person AUCE!

There is ample parking and seating. The restaurant was clean and organized. An abundance of selections and so fun to cook at your table. I chose the Tom Yum soup base and added bok choy, mushrooms, shrimp and crab- Yum! Our waitress was friendly and explained how the whole hot pot process worked. All kinds of meats, seafood and fresh veggies! For dessert, I managed to reserve some room in my tummy for pineapple, longon and sago soup- but if you have room pastries and ice cream, they have an array of it. I really enjoyed this place and will return!

Very broad selection, high quality ingredients available- both meat and veggies. The sauce bar has EVERYTHING. Our server Nina was very informative, helpful, present, and friendly. The layout of all the ingredients and seating is lovely and well thought out. We enjoyed everything we tried including every type of Bulgogi, fresh shocked oysters, and the raw meat rolls. I appreciate that they have a food waste surcharge to encourage consumers to be mindful of what they put on their plate. We'll definitely be returning!

I recently visited Royal Korean Bar B Que & Hot Pot and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. The aesthetics of the restaurant are beautiful--definitely the highlight of the visit. The space is well designed and visually appealing, which initially made me excited to dine there. However, the service and food quality did not match the atmosphere at all. Our waiter was not knowledgeable about the menu and couldn't answer basic questions about the items or broths. The food placed on the bar appeared frozen rather than fresh, which was concerning for a hot pot experience. I ordered the Tom Yum soup base, and it was honestly one of the worst I've had. The flavor was unpleasant, and after putting my food into the pot, it completely ruined the meal to the point where I couldn't eat any of it. To make matters worse, I ordered a Sex on the Beach cocktail, and it tasted extremely watered down with almost no flavor. Overall, the only positive part of this experience was the restaurant's aesthetics. Unfortunately, good décor can't make up for poor service and bad food. I will not be returning.

You will not leave hungry! A fun (and clean) place and convenient location to dine with a huge variety of items. The buffet selection allows you a choice of broths for your own personal hot pot while also enjoying a grill for a bbq experience. The appetizer section has sushi as well as other small bites and a sauce bar where you can create your own concoction. You will have PLENTY of meat, seafood and veggies to choose from. All at a reasonable price. The meats are nicely seasoned so all you need to do is grill to your liking. The beef bulgogi is my favorite. If needed you can have a refill on your broth as well as having your grill top replaced with a clean fresh one. Yummy!

One of my favorite hot pot places! We came here for a birthday and I was so impressed with the range of food they had. There was everything from krab rangoons and sushi, to ramen and sliced ribeye. The service was great and I loved everything I tried. I'll definitely be back!

This place is awesome. My brother and I just decided to go here on a whim. There were so many different types of foods available. I got the miso soup as my base. This place reminds me of Japan. I love being able to cook my food to my liking. They have kid-friendly foods as well. The prices were very reasonably for what you get. Our server was fantastic and checked on us regularly. The place is beautiful. I'll definitely go back when I'm in the area.

    Rena H.

Very large selection of food at a reasonable price. I love that everyone gets their own individual pot for cooking so you don't have to agree on a soup. The pre cooked sushi and apps were tasty for buffet style. Attentive wait staff, changed out our grills without request. Definitely bring your appetite!

One piece of celery in a quart of flavored water.

There is no way you will get your money's worth here! Very limited options and one piece of celery in a giant bowl of "soup". More like water with broth coloring. Maybe at least walk the lines, see if you feel like eating what they have before they charge you. Maybe you will enjoy it or believe you cook enough of your own meal to break even.

They didn't say that but I included a photo of both because I feel like they're close enough As far as food goes, we split the Peony Sampler for an appetizer and loved it. It definitely did it's job as a sampler because now we know we like all of their appetizers and would order any of them on their own in the future. I ordered Egg Drop Soup after that because it's a favorite of mine. I always add a little salt to their version of it but I add salt to a lot of soups so that may just be a "me" thing. I had the Sweet & Sour Pork with Fried Rice for my entree, which is the same things had last time and it's still great. Between the appetizer and the soup and the entree, I was hoping to have enough to take home for lunch tomorrow and I definitely did. My wife had the General Chicken. She really liked the sauce because it was sweet but has a little bit of spicy kick to it. She said the same thing I said about the chicken itself; she loved that it was big pieces of juicy white meat. She was also surprised by how much she liked the broccoli which made for one of those things where you could get a bite of everything at once. She also had a lot to take home, so she's happy with that too. Thank you again to the person who posted about Peony in the group recently. We had a great lunch thanks to your reminder.

What I Ordered: - Tokyo: For $16.95, I thought this was reasonably priced and excited to try as reading reviews raved about the umami flavor of their ramen. Without exaggeration, this was a life-changing ramen. The best ramen that I've had in my life!! The torched egg was genius and added a beautiful texture to the rich, and flavorful broth. The fried chicken thigh was a delicious protein and cooked so well. Visiting my son & DIL this past weekend, both of my son's dining suggestions were wing-focused. But my vegetarian DIL (she eats some seafood) seemed to be more interested in Bonchon than the other potential spot, so I took her side to make our choice. I can usually find something to eat on any menu, in spite of my immature palette, and Bonchon was no exception. In fact, there are several other things I want to try now! We started with the Korean Cucumber Salad & Bao Buns with Pork Belly. No one that knows me will be surprised that the cucumber salad was much too hot for me. But here is something unexpected... I loved the cole slaw on the Bao Bun, and the sauces were complementary enough that the spice level was fine for me. I would definitely order the Bao Buns again, and try the other meats. For my meal, I ordered the Bibimbap with Bulgogi, and really enjoyed it. Their marinated beef was very tasty, and of course I love an egg on just about anything. Another (non)shock, I did not care for the Bibimbap Sauce because it was rather hot; I appreciated that it was served on the side. Hubs said the mushrooms & caramelized onions were very good, but I didn't eat either. Then I tried a Classic Crunch drumstick, and fell in love! Yes, I bit into it like y'all do, and ate the skin, too. What a delicious piece of chicken! I didn't even need a dipping sauce (& I can't remember what the boys chose anyway). My son insisted that I'd enjoy a Korean BBQ wing also, and I'm sure I would, but I was already getting full. Next time! Also for my next visit, my DIL got a Mopo Corndog as her appetizer (though she also ate a lot of the cucumber salad), and it looked amazing! The name was confusing (to me), but there is no hot dog inside, so I want to try one. Fried mozzarella & potato cubes! Service was fantastic, although they weren't very busy yet on this Saturday evening. Our server was very attentive & friendly, and none of us waited for a new drink or refill.
