    End of the night!
    Thomas K.

I enjoyed myself on the patio of this Middle Eastern dining establishment on a Saturday evening. We had reservations and a very large party, but the restaurant was kind enough to accommodate us and at the same time provided impeccable service and delicious food. I had hummus and kibbi both of which were absolutely wonderful and I'm not sure if they make their own pita bread or purchase it but in any case, it was wonderful as well. Lastly, throughout the meal, I had a Turkish coffee, which was probably one of the best Turkish coffees I have ever had. It was smooth, not better and perfectly brewed. There is no question in my mind that I will return to this restaurant. It is good enough to repeat the experience but five stars is truthfully, an understatement at least in my experience on a very, very busy night and enjoyable experience.

As soon as you walk in, you are blown away, of how beautiful the place looks inside and outside. Our waiter was amazing and attentive .The hummus is incredibly good, the flavor is amazing. You have to give it a try . You won't be disappointed. I also got a chicken kebab wrap and a cheese manaeesh. I devour that before I could even take a picture, but I can tell you that it was so good. I give it a 10. The coffee is something new for me which for a first timer I really enjoyed it. I will definitely be coming back to try more things.

1 Star - Discriminatory, Dishonest, and Unwelcoming Experience I found Dalia Mediterranean Grill & Cafe when I googled "Kunafa near me." I called ahead -- the first man said they had it, then when I called back a lady confirmed they did but said it would take 25 minutes because they were busy. I agreed to wait. When I arrived, the staff looked at me but didn't greet or approach, so I said "table for one." I ordered tea while I waited for my to-go Kunafa. The waiter asked if I spoke Arabic (which was an odd question for a paying customer), and when I said no, he seemed dismissive. A few minutes later, another employee brought out two to-go containers of Kunafa and placed them on the table -- no bag, no utensils. He then asked if I needed a bag and utensils; I said yes, and instead of bagging it for me, he simply handed me the empty bag in my hand. That told me everything I needed to know about the level of service here. When I asked for the check, the waiter entered something into his handheld device and told me the total was over $28 -- which immediately raised a red flag since online the Kunafa is listed at $7.99. When I questioned the price, he went to get a lady who came over with an attitude and said, "It's $11.99 now, it's not on the menu anymore." Then she tried to negotiate the price, saying, "The best I can do is $9.99." Moments later, she snatched the containers and said, "You don't have to take it if you don't want -- I told you we didn't have any more, this is what we had left over." That confirmed it -- they were trying to sell me something old, and overcharge me for it. I told her no thank you and left. I've never felt so discriminated against in a restaurant. If you're not Arabic, prepare to be treated differently here. The price was never the issue -- I love good food and have no problem paying for it. But the lack of respect, honesty, and basic customer service was beyond insulting. I'll gladly keep driving to Golden Roastery for FRESH Kunafa and respectful service. This review has nothing to do with ethnicity -- it's about how poorly this staff treats customers who aren't "one of them." Do NOT recommend.

EVERYTHING about this restaurant is FIRST CLASS!!! The service was amazing and the food was EXEMPLARY! We were in town after getting off a cruise for our 25th wedding anniversary and we went here to have dinner and one of the owners Layla came out to give us suggestions and to introduce herself to us and through the conversation she learned it was our Anniversary so at the end of our dinner she brought out a beautiful dessert decorated with Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary. Go support this family owned business that has great food.

Fancier than I thought it was going to be. I came in here late to grab a bite, but felt severely underdressed. A nice spot for a date night or nice family dinner.

KATY, TX 77450 / MEDITERRANEAN / 03-16-24 / TAKEOUT DINNER +The classic hummus is delicious; nice garlic flavor and smooth. +The lamb chops were cooked a nice medium rare, as requested. +The pita bread was freshly-made. -The menu indicates the lamb chops is charcoal grilled, but I did not taste the charcoal flavors. -Some of the lamb chop portions were very small. -The seasonal vegetables were a bit overcooked. -Pricey compared to some of the other Mediterranean spots across Space City; i.e., Al Aseel sells lamb chops for $20.99. What we ordered: 1 Lamb Lollilops with Seasonal Vegetables $36.00 * Entrees are accompanied by turmeric basmati rice, and a choice of: hummus, bab ghannouj, or cilantro jalapeno hummus 1 Classic Hummus with Pita Bread $8.00 Total: $47.63 post-tax

First time here with my boyfriend. Absolutely delicious. Very beautiful as well!! While we were eating we found little pieces of metal wire in his food, we made the staff aware of the situation and they were very apologetic and offered us new plates. Aside from that our experience was great. (I am very picky but the food was soooo good)

Average Mixed grill (rice was the best thing on there)

I've been wanting to try out this place for a while! Overall, great interior and exterior decor and seating, very clean restaurant in all terms, and good food if you focus on appetizers over entrees. What I would get next time: steak hummus and falafel entree (might consider trying beef shawarma over rice too). Full review: Let's start with the good stuff... the hummus with steak is a great appetizer to share or whole meal honestly. I love the fresh pita with most of the orders, the bread was puffy and steaming hot when it came out. The trio appetizer is not worth it but it did allow me to try the falafel, which were really good, so I definitely recommend trying the falafel platter. The last good thing in food for me was the yellow rice that came with some platters, outstanding rice! Now for the not so good parts... the mixed grill kabab and tikka were average at best, the kibbe needed salt, and the gyro wrap was like a homemade sandwich with not very flavorful gyro. The service was great at first, but then we were almost completely ignored for like 40 mins because they were setting up the tables outside for Saturday night.

The food is SOOOOO DELICIOUS!!!!! Always trying something new and have yet to be disappointed! Beautiful ambiance perfect for date night, inside or out on the patio!

Good food, friendly service. We were recommended here by friends and enjoyed our dinners. All the food tasted great. My beef shawarma was really tasty and so were the the Phoenician Fries. We topped it off with a baklava, oh yeah!

Brand new interior with a new patio, but uncovered. We loved the hummus and fresh hot pita!! I thought the amount of oil in the middle was great and I could've had more, not an overkill to me at all like one of the other reviews said. Portion size is great! I ate 1/2 my wrap, husband devoured his entirely. Our waiter had just moved here in February and was very personable and accommodating. We will be back to try the menu and use the patio come fall. Really hoping that they will introduce a variety of all the appetizers on one dish.

Let me start by saying I've been here multiple, multiple times & I've never had any food items that weren't good. I always get breakfast (even if it's lunch time) so I don't know much about the lunch items. Not only is the food outstanding with a creative twist, it's consistent. Over the years, the place has expanded several times so now there is a decent amount of dine-in seating in addition to the outdoor seating. The place still stays packed but with their wait list in advance/text notification system & efficiency in seating customers, if there is a wait things move along smoothly. Additionally, anyone who is waiting knows it's worth the wait!! The service staff are friendly. The atmosphere is homey & they decorate for the various holidays & seasons. Owner/chef Lori is always walking around asking guests if everything is ok. On at least 2 occasions she happened to chat with me/my guest about some dietary restrictions & she whipped something up for us to try. My go-to dish is the harvest breakfast where you can pick 4 breakfast items from a list. This is a great way to sample more menu items. Here's my take on some of my favorites: - Sourdough pancakes are thin & really delicious. - Belgium Leige waffle is very sweet with the pearl sugar "nuggets" in them so taste them before you add a lot of syrup. - Scrambled eggs are well seasoned, not bland. - Avocado & tomato or the fresh fruit are nice light touches as one of the side item choices. - Fried chicken tenders are really good. Spice level 3 (medium) is not that spicy. It's flavorful. - Grilled chicken tenders are good. As much as I typically eat grilled or baked chicken, I allow myself to choose fried for these. - Grits are creamy. I get them with no cheese. I'm not a big grits person but I do like these! The menu is very extensive. It includes vegan, vegetarian, keto & gluten free. Is the breakfast a little pricey, the answer is "it's all relative." Sometimes it's just worth paying for a great meal. In case you haven't gotten the message, Harvest Kitchen is a must try. Do yourself a favor & have a visit. I'm betting it will stay on your list as a repeat eating spot!! Tips: - Use the text message wait list & signup before you leave your house. - You can always get 1 pancake on the side for $5. - 15% gratuity is included at checkout, as you pay you'll get options for an additional % or custom % like 0%, 3, 5% or more.

They serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday until 330. The brunch menu is huge. It is not a super large menu, which I feel very endearing. We decided to try the bagel and lox with cream cheese, the Buzz burger with fries, and their homemade chips. They start off by bringing you this beautiful craft of bottled water. That to me was an amazing bonus. We also ordered two sodas which came in a can. I sort of wish it was a more of a fountain drink than one can of soda for the price. *Now service was super slow. However, the waitress did come and tell us that they are running a little behind and she apologized for it and she was super sweet, so that made up for the weight. How do I known how long it was going to take, I don't know if I would've stayed, but in the end, the food was amazing. The burger was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend is a hamburger snob and he kept saying how good it was how fresh it was and how perfectly cooked it was. They serve you shoestring fries that feel like they're double fried and they were phenomenal. My bagel was toasted perfectly and had a very good amount of cream cheese and lox. As a Jewish girl living in the area that I do, it's very hard to find good bagels with lox and cream cheese. I will most definitely be back for this sooner than later. The homemade chips took quite a while to come out, and at one point I was ready to say we don't need it, but these potato chips beat Buccees beaver chips, 100%. They were super fresh and very crunchy and tasted amazing. I will definitely recommend those to anybody that orders some. My boyfriend then ordered a tropical sunrise smoothie and it was so tasty and tasted like a strawberry banana smoothie. Now once again that did take a long time to come out and at one point, we were wishing we had not ordered it but once we did get it, it was really good and I highly recommend it. The restaurant is not very large and it's the perfect brunch spot for anybody looking for a smaller Cafe with very good choices.

Oyster itself was very flavorful. For starters, we had the Jumbo Peri Peri shrimp and Jollof's Fire Bomb. The shrimps were just regular shrimps and was chewy. The Fire Bomb was tasty with brisket meat inside. We order the ribeye and fried red snapper for our mains. Suya Ribeye was very flavorful from the African spices. The jollof rice was delicious. My first time trying it. Kinda crispy and has a kick. Fried Fred snapper was well executed. My wife loved it. It was unfortunate that the restaurant was so dark that you can't really see your food to appreciate the effort that was put into it. It was a nice gesture that Chef Casey came out to talk to his customers. For desserts, we had the crème brûlée and banana fosters.
