As with all MTO places your experience is highly dependent on the employee preparing your meal. Sometimes Cava frickin' nails it! Other times freshness and quantity can be lacking. I guess it's true what they say, love is the secret ingredient! I love that they offer fresh made juices and teas as well as Boylans cane sugar sodas on tap. 1st time here. The location was very clean & new. They were well-staffed, quick and organized. The young lady was very helpful with information and suggestions. Everything was flavorful and delicious...a rainbow of colorful foods. Tasted fairly healthy. Had a salad and grain bowl with romaine and the super green mix (included shaved brussels, etc), brown rice, and chose the roasted veggies and falafel as my two "proteins." The three "sauces" I selected was the spicy & yummy feta, the roasted red pepper hummus and the tzatziki. Had pickled onions, cucumbers, tomato cucumber mix, roasted corn, kalamata olives & shredded cabbage with the dressing (lemon tahini?) on the side. Enjoyed it enough to buy two for dinner the same night! Only downfall is I think it's a little expensive. Cost me $27 for two almost identical without a drink. Gone down hill. The tables seem to be permanently sticky to the point of cups and bowls sticking to the table. The Harissa chicken tasted great but only half of it was edible as it was full of tendons. The bright spot was the workers who did a great job with what they had to work with. I've visited Cava twice. The first time was ordering and eating inside the restaurant. It was delicious and very appetizing looking. The second time was ordering online, paying for it and picking it up bringing it home. This was terrible. I ordered the tahini Caesar bowl and when I opened it up it looked like mud. The hummus had been stirred in with the vegetables and it was extremely heavy. The hummus was supposed to be scooped and placed on the top. I was very disappointed. This was on April 2, 2024 at the Lancaster Pennsylvania location for a 6:00 pickup. I called it in at 4:14 p.m. I will not do that again. In fact, it will be sometime before I return. read more

My first impression of this place was the disappointing limited menu. The tables were not being cleaned right away and it was quite busy. We probably arrived sometime around 12:00 p.m. I consider the prices to be high with food averaging $12 up for a single dish or Gyro which is pricey for lunch. We ordered the Lamb meatball gyro with everything and the chicken souvlaki with everything. I asked for the fresh baked pitas and we paid for a single ginger drink to see what it tasted like. Well, we never got our Pita, but considering how much I spent ($30.00) it broke my pocket book. Pita would have added to my broken pocketbook shock. The Lamb gyro was good. I didnt care for the commercial gyro bread, but all the fillers were good. The chicken gyro was grossly salty! We washed it down with the pricey Ginger drink that was only about 12 ounces, not enough to quench our thirst. I admit I was broken hearted that this place does not carry any spinach or cheese pies. I was also upset that they didn't have shish kabobs as we were kind of hoping and there were no stuffed grape leaves. I would have preferred a full course meal at a restaurant for these lunch menu prices. I doubt we will be coming back any time soon. I just wasnt impressed enough. read more

Good healthy food and quick service. A little overpriced with $2.80 medium soda and $28 for lunch for 2 but I'll be back. Open for dining inside and did not have to wear a Covid mask. Employees did have masks on for our safety. Dressings we're limited but tasted good. I like their hummus and pita bread. Glad it's open now in Lancaster, PA! Easy and free parking too. read more

I really want to give this place five stars but unfortunately I can't. I was an avid Cava customer. It started in NYC and I was so excited when I heard they were opening one here. I had it at least once a week when it first opened and loved it. Within the last three months I've had unfortunate experiences. On many occasions, I will pay extra for avocado and not receive any (with no refund). Next, both my boyfriend and I ordered the Harissa chicken and got sick from it. I stayed away for a little, but thought I would give it a try again today. By far it was the worst bowl I've ever had there. There was a heavy taste of blue cheese or mold in the bowl but I couldn't figure out which ingredient was causing the horrid taste. I'm hoping for the best in terms of not getting sick from it. I give three stars because I know the ability of Cava to be a really great place, but I just don't know what's been going on lately. read more

My husband and I love the food at Cava but our experience with customer service at this location has been nothing short of horrible each time we have gone. The workers are rude and unprofessional. Most seem angry, won't look at you, and give short answers with eye rolls. We have tried to talk to a manager, Ryan, and while he apologized he mostly made excuses for the rude service. The worker in that instance that we complained about seemed high or hung over and as we approached the counter he greeted us with an angry tone "what do you want" and he later mocked my husband's order. We very much enjoy the food at Cava but we will not go back to this location because of the disrespectful service. read more

What a huge disappointment. And not because I am comparing it to Zoe's which was great. What do they think "Mediterranean" means? A pita, some falafel, hummus and some "lamb meatballs?" This menu is seriously limited. No dessert offering that I could see. Basically you get a bowl. There is no shish kebab. There are no stuffed grape leaves. No flavors of the Mediterranean to speak of. Basically a fast food wrap or a bowl. The staff is not fully trained. If you ask if they have diet coke and they say yes, then you go to the self dispenser and see no coke products. When you ask again about diet coke they think their "Diet Mexican Cola" is the same thing and three staff members are questioning each other "don't we have diet Coke?" So two tasteless paper bowls and a soda for $30 is a "one and done." Wow...please bring back Zoe's. read more

I had to add my own lettuce to my salad as I received essentially a bowl of chicken. While eating it the taste seemed very familiar, and I realized my bowl basically tastes like something you could get at a chipotle. To preface this, I LOVE Cava and their food. This review is strictly for this location and this location alone. We placed an order to pick up at 6pm. We got there at 6pm and our order wasn't ready. We waited for FOURTY minutes and when our order still wasn't ready we left because let's be honest, Cava is great but not THAT great. There were other customers waiting for their orders that were supposed to be ready at 5:30pm and still hadn't gotten their food at 6:40pm. New location or not there's zero excuse for that amount of delay and complete lack of acknowledgment from the manager on duty for such a delay. The employees had zero situational awareness or sense of urgency and were given no noticeable direction from leadership. The manager informed us we could email customer support to get a refund on our meal. Refund or not we'll never be coming back to this location based purely off the horrendous customer service. read more

We got to try cava as part of a community day and the food is amazing. Better than the food was the staff, especially a wonderful woman named Cleo. I had my hands full with my 3 year old and she offered to carry our food to a table. Of course when we got to the table my 3 year old decided that she needed to eat at home (after 5 minutes prior deciding she wanted to eat there lol!) and Cleo was so understanding and quickly prepared our food to go.
