I'm beyond excited for another vegan option in Lancaster County. Delicious Egyptian food that was prepared fresh, the service was super fast and the place was clean as a whistle (especially if you keep your whistles clean). I had the falafel sandwich. This was well prepared and very full of flavor. I double checked that it was vegan and they insisted that it was. Oh heck yes. Also got the spicy samosas. The spice was medium to mild, but truly mouthwatering. Washed it all down with an Egyptian soft drink and the price was great for all the food I ate. Can't wait to come back!

Our new favorite restaurant. The food is so fresh and full of flavor. We attacked the soup before we remembered to take a photo. We stopped just short of licking the bowl. It's that good. We've got enough left over for another meal, so it's very economical to eat here.

This is an excellent place to get top notch handcrafted food. It's a cute and cozy place with lots a super friendly and professional proprietor.

We ordered takeout tonight and we were definitely pleased with everything we had. There's a small dining room with about 6 tables inside and I noticed a handful of tables outside. The service was friendly and quick. The food was so delicious and flavorful and we can't wait to have it again. All the vegetarian and vegan options made us very happy. There's a small parking lot and parking wasn't an issue at all. We will absolutely be back.

The food was delicious, unfortunately didn't get to try to try the koshary due to running out, but the Egyptian rice and samosas were flavorful. The restaurant is quaint and family-run, the service being very attentive and good quality.

Their vegan chicken shawarma is my favorite food in Baltimore!…read more I came up for a couple days last year and had cravings for it ever since. Just moved to the area, and I was heartbroken to see it wasn't on the menu. But it's back!!! Ordered it yesterday, and *angelic singing*

I can't speak on the customer service because I didn't talk to anyone. I ordered at the kiosk and they called my number and that was it. I paid $19.45 for my meal. I order a side of falafels (3) and the street bowl with beef flank, tzatziki, and mild red pepper sauce. The falafels were way too crispy. I feel like compared to other falafels I've tried these were on the hard side. Thankfully I had some tzatziki sauce to dip them in, if I didn't, they would have been a little hard to eat. The flavor was okay but the texture was not appealing. I really wanted to get beef shawarma but they were out so I opted for the beef flank. I wish I would have just gotten chicken instead. The bowl came with rice and a lettuce salad that was underneath the beef. I'm not sure if the lettuce had arugula in it as well, but the lettuce gave sort of a bitter taste which I did not care for at all. Did not taste good so I would add a lot of tzatziki sauce to it to cut down on the bitter taste. The beef was okay, nothing to rave about. I was just very underwhelmed with my food. Not sure if I would give it a try again. If so, I would definitely get something else or build my own bowl maybe. Try it for yourself and see how you like it.

We settled on some hummus with fried meat on top and a Sambousek for appetizer. The hummus was lemony and very light and served with pita. The fried meat on top of it added nothing, however. The chicken sambousek was hot and very nice and would have benefitted from some sort of sauce to dip it in. The fatoush salad was ok. I had the msakaah which was a stewy eggplant served next to some dark rice served with a lentil soup. The soup was light and mild and matched the msakaah which was not going to over-spice anyone's palate. The other entree of shish tawook arrived as a ring of grilled chicken kabob chunks surrounding a bed of rice that was topped with zesty summer vegetables. It was a great presentation and was very ample in its portions and the winner of the evening. We were both very full at the end of the meal but life is short and so I ordered some namoura for dessert which was a dense cake, saturated with a honey sauce and topped with a pistachio glaze. It was a great dessert - solid and sweet but not too sweet. The ownership of the restaurant had recently changed hands which accounted for the barebones menu and hopefully that will change with some descriptions and pictures because if one is going to venture into a new cuisine, why not give future diners a 'heads up'? Worth going back when some of the new start-up kinks are worked out.

The most recent experience we had there was a huge disappointment. Their prices went too high now, which is not unique to them, but most restaurants in this area. The big problem is the service, as usual. This is very much a family operation so the wait staff, meaning primarily the 2 daughters of the owners, do not care about the customers , and are not concerned with any criticism or complaints a customer might make. Me and my wife have never complained, but this will be our last time there, unless we hear about changes being made there. The food has gotten somewhat less delicious, but the food was always very good. The decorum has not updated nor changed in years and the hard wood booths and chairs are just super uncomfortable. There is no accessibility and they act sorta resentful toward those who are somewhat handicapped.
