Today was my last visit to CAVA! This is the 3rd time in a row I didn't get nearly what I paid for. I watched as the server paid special attention to give me as little food as possible. I even asked what I was paying for! As you can see by the picture not much at all. I watched a customer after me get a salad piled high with twice as much protein and a drink and her total was less than mine. She was served by a different employee. I would have addressed this right there but I was extremely unhappy. I'm tired of hearing this will be extra or we can add more at extra cost. Like many other Cava locations. Cashier wasn't very friendly and was impatient. The food was fine, tables and chairs were dirty.

The food is good. Customer service is OK. But the lack of communication in this establishment is ridiculous. For 1 if you don't take cash payments how about putting a sign to let customers know not just wait to you get ready to pay and then you deny a customers cash. You have wasted my time the people in line time and your own time making the food. PUT SIGNS UP!!! How are you denying money anyway??? Due to COVID ? That has been a sorry excuse for a lot of establishments to be LAZY. Here is a public service announcement for anyone going there with cash because THEY WONT TELL YOU. I eat here 2-3 times per week. Great places for lunch especially if you are trying to keep it on the healthy side. However the pita chips are not to be missed, watch out they are high in calories.I've eaten at Cava in Bethesda, Virginia, and DC- it is pretty consistent everywhere. First impressions are lasting, and my first impression of CAVA was pretty rough. I ordered online for an after work pickup. I'm a pretty adventurous eater, and my pescatarian girlfriend wanted to try this place for her birthday. I ordered everything online with a 5pm pick up. I walked in around 5:15 (because white marsh rush hour traffic) and waited in a small line to ask where to pick up my order. The woman pointed across the store to a counter with a single bag and said "is that your bag right there?" I peak in and see my name, two bowls and two pieces of pita...presumably my order, especially considering it had my name on it. I got home and finally sit down to eat and realize my bowl (the one my girlfriend commented felt way lighter than hers while unpacking the bag) was missing the chicken. My bowl had like 5 total ingredients, and you missed the main protein? That's like ordering a burger at five guys and getting lettuce tomato mayo and cheese but no burger patties. I called the store to get a refund and they told me the only way to do that was to drive back to the store...so I did. The entire staff was standing in a circle presumably dealing with the guy in front of me who also needed his order remade. The staff were all smirking and the manager swiped my card multiple times trying to give me a refund for my bowl, before finally giving up and giving me a cash refund. Why don't your employees know how to give a refund? What's worse than that, was I hardly got an apology, no recognition that I had to drive back to the store a second time, no customer service or attempts to keep me as a customer. Just another white marsh eatery to write off... On the other hand my girlfriends order was correct and she enjoyed it, concept seemed cool, food looked pretty decent, but sadly I wouldn't know how it tastes. Now I don't have to travel all the way to Columbia, MD for Cava. This is by far one of my favorite place to get lunch. I usually order a falafel greens and grain bowl with super greens and loads of veggies. The original and red pepper hummus are dairy free for the win. The lemon tahini dressing to top it off. Avocado Harissa - The Avocados were soft and yet firm. They radiated vibrant greens and yellows that would please Van Gogh and their taste was a mellow pleasing delight. The Super Greens were diced into perfect shapes to easily compact and fit nicely on a fork. The Saffron White Rice was heavenly light with a great distinctive saffron smell and taste. The chicken was chopped into small bites and it's moist taste along with the Harissa Honey sauce had a mildly hot and sweet taste and gave a bright red addition to the salad. The Feta cheese added Pop with a dairy aftertaste and when mixed with the fire roasted corn, cucumber, and pickled onion was a pleasure. read more

I had such a horrible experience at Nottingham Cava! I was excited that grandson found this place that offers grain bowls. We hurried over it was my first time what a mistake I should have gone to Panera! If you have never been to Cava before it's like your first trip to a Starbucks! Can someone tell me how I can order a coffee???? Only when you asked questions about how to order the girls working there kept said things like the type of grains are on the window, the type of sauces are on the window, how many toppings can you get....however, the print is light brown on a clear label which is almost impossible to make out unless you have 20-20 vision. Then there was something about me having to pay more for the avocado....which I never knew what was included on the bowl since they are not allowed to talk. My mom and I tried Cava for the first time and we loved it! This location just opened last week and we were very excited to try it. All of the employees are super friendly and the place is SO clean! There are so many options to choose from but it all looks and smells wonderful! Everything we tried was delicious. The Cava Area Leader was so helpful explaining everything to us since we were a little overwhelmed at first! He did a great job getting this operation up and running. Sorry I didn't catch his name...but he truly as asset to Cava. This restaurant can cater to those who are vegan or vegetarian and also people with gluten sensitivity! It was my first time visiting on 06/10/20 in the morning and honestly my experience was horrible ... very disappointing the food was amazing unfortunately I can't say the same thing about staff, well not all but one in particular I had a very unsettling argument with her. Like I said it was my first time visiting and I wanted suggestions on what to have for lunch but the employee that helped me was more than just rude I felt like a bother with all my questions and she kept rushing me through the line I couldn't even enjoy the experience. And then to top it off, I handed her cash and she said Infront of everyone very loudly that they weren't excepting cash she said it in a very rude manner. I simply said you should have signs saying you are no longer accepting cash and she angrily replied and pointed that they have signs ALL OVER the restaurant, there was no need for her to be rude and angry, I am a customer and she should have better customer service . I looked at her name tag and it read VANESSA. Someone should have a serious talk with her in how to treat the guests. You can't have people like this scaring customers away.
