I've had this place bookmarked to try for months and finally had it today. It did not disappoint! Shoestring fries with just the right amount of seasoning/perfect crispy freshness and a large pressed cubano was my lunch. The ladies running the show were friendly and helpful. When I say this Cuban was Stupid Good, this is what I mean: have you ever eaten something so good you involuntarily make noises that sound like awesome bedroom stuff is happening? Yeah?! Embarrassing. Who cares though cus it's so damn good! 10 out of 10. I'm coming back sooner than I should. Don't skip this place. The ONLY thing I'd recommend that could possibly make this place better? Seed oil free mayo/cooking oil, etc and beef tallow fries! I'd pay extra for same items if Albelo decides to go full on MAHA here. Just my 2 cents!

My husband and I tried the Tangines since I had never had one and it is one of their specialties. Oh My! They were both fabulous. Tangine is a Moroccan style of roasting meat, vegetables and even bits of fruit in a inverted funnel-shaped pot with a unique blend of Mediterranean spices. I had the steak and my husband had the lamb. They use only organic and heirloom vegetables and make all their recipes authentically from scratch. You can tell when you taste it. It was fun to taste each morsel. There were peppers, carrots, mushroom, green olives, Greek olives, walnuts, tomatoes, feta cheese and tiny bits of mango all on a luscious curry and greek/Mediterranean sauce over orzo pasta. There is also other intriguing things to try on their standard menu as well as Greek favorites, appetizers such as saganaki and vegetarian options. (Wish I had taken a photo of the menu. I definitely can't wait to go back) The hostess also mentioned they offer cooking classes which I want to try as well. Dessert offered was homemade Gelato. Salted caramel and coconut (as well as homemade vanilla) were excellent. I bet they rotate those flavors from time to time. Comfy seating. Pleasant atmosphere. Authentically made food. I hope they succeed as I think everyone should give them a try. Hours are currently limited to 3 days on weekend. I do wish they would consider more...like maybe a mini "lunch" menu with gyro sandwiches and maybe Greek soups through the week?! (Not offered/just a suggestion!)

It smelled amazing when I went inside, I placed my order for a chicken over noodles bowl and a philly cheese steak egg roll. Both came out at the same time and i enjoyed all I ate. We were seated in a booth with seat cushions showing some wear and tear but comfy nonetheless. We were presented the menu and my wife ordered coffee as we perused our options. My wife ordered the Southern Eggs (2 eggs over sausage patties on grilled biscuits with gravy) with hash browns and I tried their Mama's biscuits (2 over medium eggs over fried chicken on biscuits and gravy) with house potatoes. I was intrigued by the eggs over fried chicken and our server said it's one of their more popular offerings. When our orders arrived, we realized we wouldn't be able to finish them. Those portions were quite generous! My wife liked the flavors and appreciated the toasted biscuits that stood up to the gravy. She also thought the gravy was flavorful. She wished the hash browns were crispier though. My dish was good. The eggs were cooked to my liking and the fried chicken was tender. I also wished the house potatoes were crisped up a bit but it had decent flavors. Generous portions and good value! Service was a bit spotty at times with our server disappearing for a spell. All in all, we liked the experience and will likely be back. Breakfast for 2 with tip came out to $38. We paid cash to avoid the 4% surcharge for credit card usage.

It was not very busy during our visit, but our waitress, I believe her name was Katie, was extremely attentive, professional, and friendly. Thank you, Katie! I have to say, this was the best cheesesteak I've had in Florida and trust me, I've had authentic Philly cheesesteaks up north. Of course, nothing compares exactly to the original, but this was seriously impressive and incredibly satisfying. The gyro was also delicious. Maybe it could have been heated just a bit more, but honestly, it was still so good that I happily enjoyed every bite exactly as it was served. The light music in the background created a very relaxing and family friendly atmosphere. This is definitely a place that would make for a great outing with family and friends. Lights are low, dark wood, dark blue seating.... Totally different than other Village Square restaurants I've been too. In my opinion, the quietness inside is just wonderful for a change. We were served by Jack. My husband and I both appreciated his quiet friendly grace. He served a rather high maintenance table behind us with such patience, it was amazing to hear . No we weren't eavesdropping, they were being ridiculous. Anyhoo, we both got the spicy shrimp pad Thai and the spicy level was perfect. Hot enough to make me lightly sputter but just once. . My husband said, I could go back there again while I had already planned on what I'd like to try next time.

My three star rating has to do with the ever increasing prices and ever decreasing menu options and ingredients. They used to have some good vegetarian appetizers like summer rolls, but those disappeared from the menu. Thai Ruby has done this ever since COVID and it's absurd. I was shocked to get two lunch items that jumped from the $18 menu price to $22 just for adding vegetables. That's over $50 for lunch, which is not ok in any reality. If we were people who didn't leave the bubble, I suppose we'd put up with this. Since we travel quite frequently, however, we will save our craving for Thai food for elsewhere. Why don't other Thai restaurants open somewhere close? There's definitely a market for them. If I choose to eat here, I'll limit it to their defined lunch items only.
