I don't know what has happened to this place. we have ordered from it many times. Ordered Pad See Ew everytime. The nooddles were different , replaced and inedible. Literally like overcooked pasta noodles. Yuck I could not even eat it and gave it to my dog. If you do not have the right ingredients to make a dish just tell people you are out of it . This was the best Thai restaurant we've been to since we moved to Florida only to run only 2nd to our favorite Thai restaurant in California called Bai Plu. The dishes are out of this world here at Ayuttaya Thai. I'll probably bring my own Prik nam plah though. No one in Florida knows how to make the perfect Prik nam plah. Anyway, the service was phenomenal. The people are very nice. They have a variety of dishes that are very authentic unlike Ruby Thai in The Villages. The restaurant is cozy and it is somewhat quiet. Although I would expect a louder atmosphere since it is Asian. I suggest their soft shell fried rice. Oh and if you're from California, the spring rolls here in Florida are fried not fresh like California's spring rolls. If you want the soft spring rolls they are called fresh rolls. Try this place! We were able to tell the waitress that we need to travel back to Tampa and like to get the meal quick. The promise were delivered without much wait. I got the crab fried rice. It come with soup. The entree have crab meat in the rice and fried soft shell crab on top. The quantity is good for a hungry person. My friend got the vegetarian dish, grouper fried rice, chicken pad Thai. I opted for the salad and it was exactly as I expected, good! The curry came out after we were finished with our salads. The temperature was perfect and timing was right. Have had great experiences with the food at Ayuttaya Thai. Their Pad Thai is excellent and fresh with good portions, but their curry is amazing! Have tried both the green curry and red curry and both are irresistibly good, could eat it endlessly! I'm not normally a fan of peanuts, but something about the combination of peanuts with savory Pad Thai or spicy red curry is just addictive. Also service was always very fast and professional. My only comment for improvement is that not all of the servers wore face masks, and there were frequently customers who walked in without wearing masks. The airflow in the restaurant is very low, so if you choose to eat in the restaurant you are definitely at risk of exposure from other maskless diners. read more

And the shrimp were cooked in the shell (as stated on the menu), but the shells stuck to the shrimp and had to be peeled by hand, resulting in a sticky mess that napkins alone would not clean.
