I came to cava for the first time because a couple of my friends eat there often. For a first timer reading the menu and looking at toppings can be a little overwhelming. The staff was very rude, and was not willing to address or help me out with my order. There was a girl there with a wrap on her head that said to my friend when he shared he was being rushed that "she likes to keep it moving". Nevertheless I continued to order because I really wanted to try it. Both women were very nasty and unwelcoming, the woman with the wrap even got nasty with my friend when he asked her a question. I really ended up liking my food but it's unfortunate that I had such a bad experience. I will not be returning. Maybe management should have a attitude seminar. read more

New restaurant in place the old Zoe's kitchen slot. Was my first time visiting. Nice, fresh and delicious. I got the super green bowl with a mix of chicken and falafel with the red pepper hummus, roasted eggplant, and harissa sauce. It was a great mix of flavors and extremely satisfying! PICKY EATERS ! this one's for you.. okay so i went in there with the impression it would be just like chipotle- i was wrong. the only thing i liked there was the brown rice, chicken, and feta cheese. everything else was not appealing to me, as i am a very picky eater. i feel like they need more options that aren't as full of flavor and more basic options, like sour cream for example, my meal would've been 10x better if i had sour cream. the meat was well seasoned and the brown rice was very good. the feta wasn't my favorite, but overall the service was great and my meal although not my favorite, was healthy. my friend molly who isn't as picky as i am, had her own opinions on the food. she says - compared to chipotle, the meal was different yet better. the bowls are fun and pop with a variety of unique healthy flavors. there were many different dressing options, and there was hummus which was cool. the chicken was really good, the meal wasn't as salty as it is at chipotle. the portion was a little small though. - we give this place a 7/10, and would prob come back again if we are looking for a healthy after gym meal. read more

Cava is one of my favorite places to order from. However, this location needs to work on making sure orders are correct, especially with mobile orders. Nearly every time I order, my order is wrong or missing items, and when trying to pick up mobile orders, it can take about 15-20 minutes just to get someone's attention to give you your order (they rarely put the mobile orders where they should be for customers to pickup). Really disappointing since Cava normally has great food. read more

Food is always good but the service is a hit or miss. I just went to Cava (5/31 at 3pm) and the three workers (two women and a man) were just talking to each other and ignoring the customers. There was a customer waiting to pay and then me and others waiting to order. I don't think the woman taking my order even acknowledged me, she was only focused on speaking to the other employees. I used to get Cava all the time when I worked in Arlington, VA at the airport and loved it! However I dont anymore after my terrible experience at this Owings Mills location. The lack of acknowledgment, food prep or customer service is a big fat zero! I walked in and there was noooo one else in line nor in the store. Not one of the three people behind the counter said Hello. Then I get lack luster acknowledgment when I'm greeted with the stare down and back and forth and still no hello or ask what I would like. Thank God for the young lady that stepped in and took care of me. But my food still wasn't flavorful or good. Customer service is everything and it was severely lacking today. I was overcharged for my greens and grains bowl and when i inquired about the free pita that goes with my meal(that i was not given) it seemed like i was annoying them. When i received my pita it was not toasted and appeared to just be a cut up cold pita. I was not impressed and probably will not return to this location. I am a huge fan of Cava. I typically love their food. This location is new and so I'm sure it needs time to get into their flow. I went twice this past week both times around 6pm. Little understaffed for dinner rush. The first bowl I received was half full I had to get them to add more lettuce base which they gave me an attitude about. Second time I ordered 3 orders of pita chips and only got 1 which there was a 20 minute wait to even receive pita chips. None of that really bothered me, I have a lot of grace for those working in service as I used to myself. What bothered me is that neither time I received a receipt. Maybe because I used the scanner on the app and they thought I would receive one in the app. No. When I noticed I was missing points I emailed customer service with pictures of my CAVA food and screenshots of the transactions on my cards and they still wouldn't honor my missing points. $60 of food this past weekend and no points. What a waste. The rewards system is not even that great to begin with so when I do order $60 worth of food I at least want to get credit. Probably won't be back for awhile. read more

First time going here the menu is easy to navigate not a lot too choose from but I got the chicken avacado bowl my food was extremely fresh and tasty I gave 4 stars because their beverage selection leaves a lot to be desired. I love the food but I feel like I have to glove up and clock in every time I go there. Out of the last 5 pickup or curbside orders, all 5 were missing the sauces or I had to go inside to get my order and wait a long time. Today, I was driving back in town from Virginia and placed my pickup order an hour in advance. When I walked inside it was not on the shelf - I had to wait about 15 minutes for them to assemble my order. Then realized they forgot my pita chips - this happens a lot- so I had to ask them to provide them. They weren't rude but it took an additional 10 minutes to have them made. Meanwhile at least 4 ppl in the short line got their orders. The detail you have to have as a customer makes me feel like I should be getting a paycheck as much as I have to check to see if my order is correct. If I could give this location zero, I would. The staff is rude and act like children. My 1st time here wanting to sit down in a nice private area with a client to have a simple sundae, thinking this was a decent place in the area of Pikesville. The majority of the tables were not clean, particularly in a private area. A male worker walked by as I excused myself twice to ask if someone could clean the table, he totally walked by with no response. I followed him around the corner and had to raise my voice to ask if someone could clean the table. He stated to me that "I did not have to yell, I was getting something to wipe the table". We sat at another table and enjoyed our sundae. While leaving, we noticed that no one ever cleaned any of the tables, I asked if I could speak with the manager and the male who ignored me was the manager. He blatantly stated that "he was not going to clean the tables", as I looked totally foolish and stunned with a lost for words, but outraged! After a total of 45 minutes of driving to and from the restaurant I was given a Gyro that only contained lettuce and feta... I tried calling back multiple times with no response. The customer service here is absolutely STELLAR! I've never written a yelp review before but after interacting with the staff here I just had to rave about it. I went to pick up an order that a family member placed online, but it turned out they never actually pressed the order button (lol). When I showed up and had to wait, they were extremely patient and understanding with me and even offered me a free drink while I waited for them to prepare the order (the cucumber mint drink is to die for). Was in the area yesterday 6/29/22 between 5pm-6pm for work and decided to give Cava a chance as i always see my co-worker with it and looks so delicious every time so took a chance on them. Went in the place was clean . No mess in sight (Even with this pandemic i could tell they cared about being clean) so thats a big plus for me. I was greeted by the team. They could tell it was my 1st time so one of the team member took me step by step on each section. It wasn't crowded so it was good timing for me. Once completed with my order got the Lemon Chicken Bowl i was taken a back on the different type of drinks they had so i had to go with the Strawberry Citrus (Love it). One of the team members actually recommended it as it was her favorite. The store supervisor didn't get a chance to get her name came out very nice greeted me and asked if i was taken care of which i was and asked if i had any concerns which i didn't. It shows she cares about her customers. Will most definitely be coming back. Doesn't hurt to try different type of food and drinks so a great experience for me.
